I have been using salt water rinses since my tooth extraction 4 weeks ago.
About 10 days after the extraction I started coconut oil pulling twice a day.
Afterwards I floss and brush my teeth and rinse with salt water ( I have given up Listerine because of the Glycerine and alcohol content).
Will the salt water rinses raise acidity in the mouth and cause decay to my teeth enamel if I carry on?
After meals I rinse with a mouthful of water and 1/4 tea spoon of Bicarbonate of soda instead of brushing because I have been an over brusher in the past.
Wow! you are desperate for an alternative explanation. I eat whole wheat bread, untoasted. I just spread it on and ate it.
Too bad, so sad, but this one "health food" is one of the worst things you can put in your body. You might as well eat lard.
Has anyone tried coconut Oil Enema s? I am going to do a couple of enemas today to prepare for a Liver Flush in the evening and am considering adding 2 tablespoons of warm coconut oil to the 2 quart enemas I will take.
There isn't a lot of discussion of coconut Oil Enema s on the internet. The few experiences that I could find reported said that either it helped with parasites (which is my purpose also) or, rarely, it caused prolonged diarrhea - for which I do not understand the reason.
Does anybody here have experience with coconut oil enemas? It would be useful to know.
Two weeks ago I did the stupid thing of sharing a drink with someone who recently had mono. I've been taking coconut oil for nearly 9 months, usually twice a day. Should I be protected from it and if I have been taking since being exposed to it two weeks, should it kill the virus before I become sick, or will I become sick?
I know that coconut oil is said to be anti-viral, fungal, bacterial, etc.. How effective against mono is it? I do not know.
I had mono more than once. The second time around I discovered Colloidal Silver and it was a godsend in terms of getting me over it. I both drank it, held it under the tongue for a minute and put about 4 ounces into coffee enemas for an 8-12 ounce or so total which I would lay on my right side to get to the liver. After 15-30 minutes, I would expel it.
There are youtube tutorials on how to make it. You can buy it of course for a lot more money than you can make it for.
I would urge you to try it. Your in my prayers. Mono is challenging to say the least.
It mostly depends on your immunity. Coconut oil isn't protection. You ingested the virus and if your immunity isn't up to the job then within a few weeks you will have mono or chronic fatigue. I got it from kissing my first girlfriend and was sick for 16 years. Finally I tried Beck blood electrification and that got rid of it.
This is my first new forum message after months of "lurking"!
Something has been eating me alive and I've considered scabies, other mites, demodex, skin worms, larvae, springtails, dreaded morgellons, and I had tried pretty much everything from parasite cleanses to albendazole too many to list with varying reief( bought online as doctors have been worse than useless - another story!
In the last couple of days I have experienced 2 major break thoughs I MUST share- time to give back!
The first was that I made a lotion? Mostly coconut oil ( half a regular jar), added around 10 drops of the follwing:
Contents of about 5 odourless garlic caps
I then topped up with sweet almond and olive oils and whisked it up really well.
In the shower after washing hair and body, I covered myself in the lotion, starting with scalp. Now this sounds discussing but straight away as massaging, HUNDREDS of hard white things made a mass exodus (some type of mite?) Felt gritty and kept oncoming as I applied more. This carried on all over my skin as I worked my way down to feet and immediately all itching ceased. I honestly thought I'd finally lost the plot! Over the next 24 hours I applied it to any itchy area and aways the white things couldn't get to fast enough!
I'm not selling anything and I'm still I'm shock that it worked so instantly!
The next part is even weirder:
Today I had skin worms literally boring out of my body, lesions bleeding for no reason and my skin felt different, smoother and like there was something happening to the worms (chronic in face, neck (nests suspected each side), chest, under breasts, ears, stomach, back, pubic mound where I suspected a main nest and buttocks. It took me a while and it suddenly clicked!
I gave up smoking some time ago and have been vaping. I added some peppermint oil to a mint choc flavor that tasted too weak. I believe that inhalling this has sent it around my blood much the same way it does with nicotine. These creatures have been virtually been melting out of me, a gross thing but for the first time in years my skin feels clear and smooth- 2 days ago I looked like a burns victim on my hands and my face was so dry with angry red lesions. I intend to experiment with a drop of clove and tea tree but ran out with my option making. If anyone out there is brave enough to try this, please let everyone know how you get on- I've been suicidal over this and I really hope this can be of use to someone. Warm regard
I want to add an update, since posting I have still had no itching, but the biggest difference is that all of the big lesions (neck, groin, buttock have started healing- they used to also feel like there was a lump or somethibg inside) and now feel flat and painless. The smallest one is almost closed over and the largest now just look like "normal" scabs and not at all inflamed or red. These have been on my skin a long time- all over a year and never healing at all!
I'm sure this is also related, there has been a pinkish colour to my urine today, no pain or smell or sign of infection, so maybe something being cleared out of my system. Please ask any questions if anyone sees this or is interested.
That is great news. I am hoping that my husbands lesions will be healing also as we progress through the parasite regimen. The parasite that was contracted four months ago seemed to be carrying worms and the bacteria that form threads. After everything I have read Malessezia Yeast seems to be the same as Morgellon's? Not sure. But the fibres have a drive and will of their own as I caught one walking up the inside of my arm last night without the parasite present because they have been all poisoned. That leaves the removal of dead worms and now the demise of the bacteria that is the strangest creature I have ever experienced.
I do have a question. I have just finished three days of the combo of Ivermectin/Albenza first day and then Prazi/Albenza the second day, continuing the Albenza for the next 14 days. I notice that my skin reeks of chemicals. The bacteria/threads is very active today and my neck feels like crispy broken glass and small pieces of the bacteria are coming out. Does this sound like a good thing to you? Because the next big doses have a two week follow up of Ivermectin and then Prazi, which is a whole 11 days from now. Though I will be continuing the Albenza I am wondering when I should start to worry. Because I felt more in control when I was on my natural herbal remedies and treatments and going this chemical route is in support of my partner more so than my own. Most of all the Morgellon's blogs are gone and are blank and it is hard to know what is normal and not normal or just someone's personal experience.
I haven't had much experience with iver/albendazole combination so I'm unable to give you any opinion, sorry.i have read many places that frequently parasites of all types become more active during treatment. I've also no experience of morgellons (to my knowledge) but i wish you good luck and hope you have the outcomes that you want.
I've gone as far as take 20 drops of oregano oil orally in one shot up to 10 x a day. Including as much tea tree oil orally and in gel caps. I have also included them in enemas. It didn't seem to cause a change. I regularly take clove oil still orallly.
I also make a coconut oil, castor oil, oregano, clove, eucalyptus, cinnamon oil and neem oil lotion for post shower. And i mixed this with a 50/50 dmso water mix. It also wasn't significant enough. I still use this as a habit.
I haven't tried vaping. But i recall noticing a scattering once and i recall reading someone speak on this matter of weed smoking and it having an effect on parasites. I am focusing now on getting the Tapeworm out of my intestines by using rx and lots of freakin coconut flakes. Everyday at least 1.5-2 cups of it followed by epsom salt. Lots of jump rope and abdominal exercises seem to help too. Last night i started a horseradish, radish with green juice. All bitters on top of what i'm using. I've also been lurking. But it's been 5 yrs for me. Stay in touch.
I've also tried consuming different essential drops (trying to avoid potentially poisoning myself though!)
I've had all the different things I uesd for the lotion for a while, with varied success, but there is definitely something that was more effective for me in that specific combination- no idea which, some may be irrelevant.
In the early days of me treating myself (was originally stupidly under the care of the NHS and have seen so many different consultants/departments, and also having a pre-existing illness that causes fatigue, insomnia and pain, no professionals wanted to look past it, even though I KNOW this is so.ething different, and not what I have had my wholewheat life- you would think that they would trust my ability to know the difference! ) I carried out several digestivetract parasite cleanses but I never had symptoms in that area, everything started with my skin, and have had more luck with topical treatment. I think timing also has something to do with it as whatever it is, it definitely has cycles where it feels like my skin gets a short break (never long enough to heal!)
Hopefully with the lotion helping on the surface, and the peppermint vapour chasing down anything in blood and then organs, I at least am changing the environment inside my body.
Good luck with the new things you are trying- it's definitely necessary to change what you are doing and keep looking for solutions- I've seen so many people swearing by the same regime that they have been doing for years, and recommending it because they read it somewhere or were told to, but they are not better! That's the main reason I have lurked so long, as I wanted to make a meaningful contribution rather than repeat many posts I've read!
Maybe you have a higher concentration of parasites in your lungs. It just maybe that they take prefernce in areas that may be compromised. You used to smoke.
I have nebulized but stopped because it wasn't working for me. You could try it. I've nebulized iodine, SSKI , hydrogen peroxide (food grade), and baking soda. I think a nebulizer gets into the blood moreso than a vape. I have felt some difference but i keep getting the baby kick in my gut. This only reminds me that i can treat all ectremities but the source of the problem is clinging to my intestinal tract.
I just posted my first post a few days ago. It's funny that you mentioned lurking. I've felt that way but the truth was i didn't have a correct solution. Only until i did would i share. I have tried many idiosyncratic things and have also been misguided by zealots and sales reps. Their is an answer. I'm definitely feeling better.
We aren't satisfying you with our responsese. Meanwhile your're waiting for all the answers to come to you after taking Ivermectin for one day. If it doesn't suite you ignore it. With an attitude like this why would anyone come back and tell people how they have been cured.
What a bxxchy attitude you have. I was just telling the op those oils..etc will never lead to a cure. And those I think were posted again and again since 10 years ago, it's funny like you just discovered something.
It was the delivery method that gave me instant effects- the way it eased symptoms actually made an immediate difference to me, so your comment about coming back when completely cured is totally irrelevant. If you have nothing constructive to contribute, please jog on ;)
Essential oils do work in conjunction with herbs, fresh and raw spices.
If it did not work then I would not have had all the die off I had last week that made me feel so sick. Now my partner is suffering die off with the parasite Rx regimen we both are on these past three day. I am fine. The only difference is that I started the antibiotic this evening because my throat was swelling but more so because it is suppose to kill Staph infections and focus on the bacteria in the gut.
I totally use natural products and would be fine with only that, but others are not alone in thinking natural products are a product of witchie poo magical potions, add my partner to that list. Which is a shame, but does save me a whole bunch of work making twice the amount of pills. But, I found that while killing and repelling the worms that scattered them throughout my body, the pills also kept my blood clean and I did not suffer a candida yeast infection that is normal when taking Rx antibiotics. So that is something to look forward to.
Essential oils, herbs and spices takes much longer to work, but they definitely are gentler. With Rx you have to worry about the die off and not knowing how intense it will be and the hidden factor of any other consequences of gifts the worms are carrying or where they have lodged to die. I did not appreciate the biting and poking while taking the herbs, but I do admit that I did not have any other real sensations other that the two days of smelling dead rotting unpleasantness.
I do believe personally that I as an American do not know enough about the human body as people may have known hundreds of years ago. We are raised very ignorantly to listen to others and expect answers from those that know better than us. The opinion, 'Don't fill our little head with worries over things we can not contemplate or concern ourselves with.' "Too bad they forgot to tell the medical field this was the plan, because the doctor's I have seen, act like they are on strike." You would think I asked them to walk on water not for their opinion or help.
I am in total agreement with you that essential oils are effective, and I think it is such a shame when people hijack others conversations with the single intention to spread ill informed negativity and basically try to belittle and bully people, and tell them they shouldn't be posting. No one has the right to do that, and it is always these same people that, when challenged, lash out at a others and accuse them of being "bxxchy" when it is their own attitude at fault. Very sad indeed. I try to remind myself to be kind to attention seekers, as they surely have issues, but it can be hard, especially when they insult others who have been really helpful. Sorry, totally off subject but I needed to get that out :)
Well said. There has to be a better forum online. This website has been very discouraging due to the characters you mentioned. I'm getting slowly better and have been dealing with this infestation for 5 yrs. for the first 2-3 yrs it was very difficult sieving through the troll, attention seekers and fanatics. I have waisted my time reading through their posts trying remedies that didn't work and really giving up hope sometimes. It would seem that after getting rejected by hospitals and doctors that i would be able to find some support here. Noway. I hate to sound negative.
These characters are really beyond annoying. I'm sure if take a consensus and speak out more we can get these characters out of here. Or we can set up our own network. Somewhere where you don't have to brush through the typical characters post or response or message posted.
I think there will always be people like that in life, even more so when they can hide behind keyboards and be as mean as they like. Negativity is only contagious if we allow it to be. It's awful that mostly appart from a cure, what we are in need of due to all the stigma that goes with these horrible issues, is a bit of non judgmental acceptance,so we owe it to ourselves not to be pushed around by unpleasant people, and although it can seem otherwise, I'm sure they are the minority a nd most users are just normal people with the same wishes as us. I know personally,I lurked so long without posting because I suspected that there would be some troll with nothing better to do, waiting for someone new to play with, and now that I have gone to the trouble, I'm quite happy to stay in my little corner and experience the nice people who post for any reason, even just to know we are not alone.
Please do keep me updated on how you get on, and if you find any other helpful sites/pages. Hopefully more people will also find us here and feel confident to join in knowing that they are welcome and won't be judged :)
No one can EVER be completely Cured. If it's human facial mites you're duking it out with (aka the only 2 kinds of Demodex mites that live on humans: follicular and brevia mites), you and ALL adults will have them for life. The goal is to CONTROL them so there's only a few at any time.
Many older children and most adults have them on their bodies ALL the time - but just a few that hang out in the follicles of their eyelashes or brows or hair. Researchers have found that almost All adults over 60 have mites and the number of mites grows as we age.
Only adults w/ weaker immune systems however, have a problem w/ these disgusting mites proliferating, getting out of control and damaging their skin and lives.
I've suffered so many losses from, what I never knew were, Demodex mites, I've spend hundreds of hours researching ways to murder these gross litle monsters. From what I gathered, very little was known about human mites and their contribution to skin diseases such as Rosasea & acne until a few years ago. Made me wonder what the heck they spend their time studying in medical school - especially if most humans have the darned things most of their lives.
Use a microscope to be sure it's human mites or make your own 'scotch tape slides' and a 10X magnifying glass.
I just want to share to see if this crap I am doing is acheiving ANYTHING? It is like alcoholism , you do not do diddly squat and are expert. So when I mention what I have and remedy I tried I never get any response? Issue is I can not tell diff from aspergillos and candida except pics of apsergillos on internet looks like what I have. The azols will kill me , if the doctors ever got around to diagnosing it. Symptoms are too great in number to mention here. I think you have put too much in the pot at once - all those ingredients will not work together? Try water melon. Grapefruit (pink) and peel or rind of both these. I dried and them make tea / decotion of herbs to apply since I am rejuvinating the enzymes in them and with Kangen can adjust to pH levels I feel i need. last thing I can do about it (dead) make environment inhospitable for the microbes. pH water can do that.
Many different things can work together, just as an example these are the ingredients of a popular parasite cleanse capsule available on amazon: INGREDIENTS PER 1 CAPSULE: Magnesium caprylate - 175mg Cinnamon bark powder - 100mg Clove powder - 100mg Shiitake mushroom powder - 100mg Garlic powder extract (deodorised, providing 10,000ppm allicin) - 75mg Glucomannan 90% powder - 50mg Pumpkin seed P.E 4:1 (40% - equivalent to 200mg fresh pumpkin seed powder) - 50mg Chicory root P.E 4:1 (equivalent to 120mg fresh chicory root powder) - 30mg Cayenne extract 7:1 (equivalent to 100mg fresh cayenne powder) - 14.3mg Fenugreek seed P.E 4:1 (equivalent to 48mg fresh fenugreek seed powder) - 12mg Olive leaf extract 15:1 (equivalent to 50mg fresh olive leaf powder) 3.3mg
I am not familiar with the things you mentioned, my own experience was of parasites poss worms or mites rather than fungal and all the things I used have really helped me but thanks anyway. I hope you are able to successfully treat yourself, I have had no help from doctors, and certainly dont claim to be an expert, however many have extensively researched and tested protocol s etc for their own treatment.
I'm going to be very task-oriented - I'll write nice things about you & about the damage these monstrous human facial mites (demodex) have done to my life...
...but AFTER I mention a relatively new treatment I think may be especially vital for those of us who've unknowinly harbored these disgusting creatures in our faces for Years.
It's a CREAM (tube) version of IVERMECTIN for Human beings - Its a parasite killer and the human cream form hit the market in 2014.
Lots of Dr sorts AND pharmacies didn't know anything about it (CVS said 'it doesn't exist because it's not in their database'.Huh?) So an independent pharamacy ordered it and had it for me the NEXT day - yesterday.
It had the same result as other treatments I've used that have ingredients similar to your essential oil formulation, RealEyes...hordes of the damned mites came crawling out of my facial pores..Gross but Great. But the Ivermectin isn't as irritating to the skin as essential oils for most people and it is specifically formulated to KILL the demodex mites not just force them to 'leave the nest' so to speak. The original version has been used forever by veterinarians to kill parasites on animals...particularly horses.
Maybe the essential oils kill them too, but I'm so desperate I needed something guaranteed to kill them dead -I've missed way too much work because of these mites.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING I've learned however, from the hundreds of hours I've spent reading forums and research is THIS: We MUST CONTINUE TO USE WHATEVER KILLS THEM FOR AT LEAST 3 WEEKS ..1st...to KILL ALL ADULTS (so they can't reproduce) AND THEN...we must CONTINUE TREATING OUR SKIN UNTIL WE'VE KILLED OFF ALL THE OFFSPRING in their various stages of development..that takes at least 3 weeks of using Ivermectin or your essential oil formula or Tea Tree Oil (diluted properly to avoid burns).
IF YOU STOP TREATING AFTER A FEW DAYS, THE LARVAE, EGGS etc. LIVE ON TO START THE CYCLE ALL OVER AGAIN. UGH!
I too am sharing to pay back all the caring folks who took the time to share their wisdom w/ me, and there's so much more I learned that I can't get to right now. Rats. I'm heading in to the most frantic time of year at a local college here so I can't be sure when I'll have a chance to write more shared wisdom.
Glad I at least got to share info that's most recent and most successful (so far) for me. IVERMECTIN (brand name SOLTANA (according to a writer here in 2011, you can buy verterinarian version of horse ivermectin on Amazon and carefully adjust the dosage by weight. or see if a regular or compounding pet pharmacy or supplier will help you.).
NOW for a reply to your commentary RealEyes, and some personal info.
I love your perspective on the 'mean trolls' & jerks w/ nothing better to do than mess w/ good hearted, people like you who are taking their precious time to share their experiences & sucesses waging war on some physical or mental illness w/ fellow suffering 'warriors' traveling the same challenging path. I agree w/ you 100%; There really IS evil in the world - so ya have to be vigilant to spot evil people & refuse to be disturbed by them when you when you can't avoid them. Sadly, it was learning the hard way that there 'Isn't good in everyone' that 1st weakened my immune system so those wretched demodex mites (aka:eyelash/eyebrow mites).. unchecked & unidentified, were able to reproduce by the truckload deep in my skin to torture me for 12 miserable years.
I've suffered many losses over the 12 years of (what I now know to be) infestation w/ human facial mites that turned this happy social woman into a veritable recluse spending hours each day picking and patching & trying to cover up her ripped, itchy, bumpy red face. If you've wrestled w/ these monsters, I know I don't have to write any more..You could write it for me..you've been there, or maybe you still are.
Only people who've been tortured by human facial mites, could possibly understand how thousands of miniature spiders (mites) could almost derail a beloved career & turn an outgoing, fun, social woman into a self-conscious recluse spending hours each day picking white plugs out of her skin then patching it up & making pathetic attempts at covering up her torn, itchy, bumpy red face. Now I'm able to just blow off / ignore the jerks & evil ones...Life is too short, but I must find ways to prevent serious stressors (ie work/offspring etc) from destroying my immune system so opportunistic diseases & infections (like mites) don't ruin my future.
And a Thank you to you RealEyes, for sharing your 'formulas for success' that you used against these horrible monsters. In shear desperation, I spent hundreds of hours about 6 months ago, reading everything I could find to explain & get rid of the 'sticky white plugs' that were destroying my face and my life. My plan is to share all the (valid) research re: demodex lifecycle & treatments as soon as I can. She who has wasted 8 hours today putting various stuff plus Ivermectin on her face & watching w/ horror and fascination as hundreds of white 'rice like' things crawled out of her face is sadly way behind every vital task we all need to do to be ready for Monday. Hope my face isnt' to gross to go out in public. Gak.
I wish you all the blessing of happiness, good health and beautiful clear skin, Barbara
Apologies - I almost always read entire threads many times before writing anything anywhere, but today I was so excited (and grossed out and fascinated) watching the hundreds of white 'rice-like' things crawl out of my long-tormented skin after I applied a cream called Soltana (cream version of human formula Ivermectin) that I just jumped in and replied to you after reading Your amazing post describing the exact same bizarre experience I had today, just with a different lotion/cream. The thought of suicide after 12 years of face-disfiguring torture-by-mites had crossed my mind too, so I couldn't wait to reply to you, someone who has clearly understands my desperation and pain.
If I'd read all the posts in this thread I would absolutely have included the following vital info from my hundreds of hours of research: ___________________________
1) the HARD WHITE THINGS that came out of your pours are VERY LIKELY DEMODEX MITES - aka eyelash or eyebrow mites that have gotten completely out of control probably because of a weakened immune system. (Thats exactly what came crawling out of my pores after using Ivermectin today)
2) IT IS THE POOP that the MITES LEAVE IN YOUR SKIN WHEN THEY DIE that causes the bacteria & fungus skin problems
THAT'S where some of the itching comes from and
THAT'S why your skin gets contstantly thicker & rough - your SKIN IS IRRITATED & REACTING TO THE GARBAGE IN THEIR POOP, and
THAT'S why anti-bacterial and anti-fungal treatments DO make your skin look & feel better (ie.essential oils have both qualities and mites HATE that stuff as you just found out)
3) BUT, since THE MITE's POOP is the cause of the skin problems THEY MUST BE KILLED to STOP THE CYCLE of misery.
4) it is NOT CLEAR THO' that anything but REGULAR use of an ANTI-PARASITE treatment ACTUALLY KILLS THEM.
And even That doesn't work unless you use it for at least 3 weeks to kill of demodex at all stages of development- or they start procreating cycle all over again.
5) I'm so desperate, I tried tons of anti-fungals/anti-bacterials with much success...including ESSENTIAL OILS which have been WONDERFULLY EFFECTIVE w/ bacteria & fungus, and at making Demodex 'leave the nest' . BUT THEY ALWAYS COME BACK...so I DECIDED TO USE PARASITE KILLER in addition to the other treatments.
I am praying a billion times that the Ivermectin, used for a month, will end this nightmare.
If you haven't already, GOOGLE DEMODEX mites and also make your own 'microscope slides' using scotch tape and a 10x magnifying glass to make certain its mites you're dealing with... then I think you should GO FOR IT..(The mites are GROSS, by the way.) It's important to know the lifecycle of Demodex and several sites have really informative stuff. ignore a site called demodex solutions & one called pestkill. Appear to be commercial marketing sites posing as forums/blogs). The Acne Forum has good info as do the Rosasea sites. The ones featuring Opthomologists discussing treating eyelash mites (demodex) w/ Ivermectin are good too (although a thinly veiled attempt to build their practices)
To end with a compliment..kudos to you RealEyes for being such a creative chemist! And some inexpensive highly effective anti-bacterial/anti fungals I've been using that I'll now use in conjunction w/ Ivermectin) Been using an old fashioned nasal rinse called ALKOLOL- availble at Walgreen's only - It's been around since the late 1800's - formulated w/ many essential oils (smells wonderful... I plan to keep using it as a toner forever...even when my skin is cleared of mites). Also been using HIBICLENS soap (Excellent! used by Dr.s before surgery) a sulfer Colloidal Silver cream used for acne, and anti-fungal cream used for jock itch (although it's embarassing at the check out regularly buying several tubes of it,)
I wish you all many blessings and soft clear beautiful skin.
ALKALOL is a wonderful skin toner! Delighted you've discovered this as well. It seems to drive the mites away in droves. Also heals skin and sooths the itch. All these ingredients work together but I believe the addition of potassium alum, alcohol and baking soda helps to dry out and dehydrate them. Even though skin clear now I will continue to use for life. Complimented all the time on how "beautiful" my skin is. Little do they know skin scabs itch and bumps/acne for years. When asked what I use people are reluctant to use nasal rinse on face!!! Their loss but not ours. Curious have you used on any other part of your body? Like ears and yes, nasal passages?
Yes I have! ALKOLOL is a Must to conquor infestation inside the nose and (carefully) along the lash line on eyelids where Ivermectin cream (Soolantra) can't be used. It's a nasal rinse so it's a natural for 'critter-killing' inside the nose. Very soothing for ear canal & outer ears as well when they 1st exploded with mites & were raw from washing/rubbing/pulling them out so I could go to work and not scare small children to death.
I have an exciting news to share w/ my fellow demodex mite victims. I'll write 'quick sound byte version' after I post this and important details ASAP.
The Great Mite Massacre !! Oral Ivermectin (Stromectol) and 1% ivermectin cream (Soolantra) ... the power to kill the full body Demodex infestation that has tortured me for 12 years (and made me one heck of a good make-up artist!)
YES! It's possible to beat these wretched critters so hang in there if you feel hopeless like I did. I need beauty sleep to strenghten that all-important immune system, but I'll post details & a few helpful websites in a few days.
For now, hunt down a dermatologist who is knowledgeable AND Up To Date about Demodex and check out info about oral ivermectin (Stromectol). I was prescribed a 4 week supply : 12 mg Once a Week for 4 Weeks. ( mg based on weight).
Is it possible to rub some coconut oil on the hair in the morning and leave it for a whole day and then rinse in the evening with only water?
The reason i ask is that i never use shampoo and for something like half a year i use only water to rinse my hair and apple cider vinegar once a month. My hair became a bit hard to comb due to that :)
So today i put some coconut oil on my hair and my hair immediately got a very nice shiny look.
What i want to know: is there any problem with using coconut oil that way that is using in the morning and rinsing in the evening with only water.
What i noticed also that after a while there's some odour from the hair that is not so nice so my question is how to prevent that? maybe mixing some essential oil to counteract the smell?
Also if you know of any other kind of shampoo that is absolutely natural or organic, please let me know.
Dissolve about 1 tablespoon of baking soda in just enough water to make a paste. Apply this to your roots only; work it in and let it sit for a minute.
In order to stimulate blood flow, clean your pores and get off built up grime, use your finger tips to scrub your scalp. Start by making a circle on the top of your head in the area you’d wear a crown. Focus on the back of this circle to begin with. Next, fill in the circle. This is where your part will be; grease here affects the way your hair looks. Trace while still scrubbing with your fingertips around the bottom edge of the circle. Keep making scrubbing circles underneath each one, drawing lines in circles around your head.
Lastly, scrub the back of your skull and your temples/sideburns. This will result in less grease and more growth. After doing this, your scalp will feel alive. Many women swear their hair grows faster after a visit to the salon — it does, and this massage method is why.
When scrubbing, you’re actually rubbing your fingers back and forth in short movements. Be gentle; you don’t want to break your hair. Next, pour about 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar into a cup and add water. (I keep two plastic 12-ounce cups in my shower and just mix when I get in.) After you rinse the baking soda out, pour the apple cider vinegar over the ends of your hair, let it sit for a minute and then rinse it out. That’s all there is to it!
No 'Poo Troubleshooting
Remember, there is a transition period from two weeks to two months depending on the person. Here are a few tips:
• If your hair becomes frizzy, try using less baking soda or leaving it on for a shorter period of time. Adding honey may also help.
• If your hair becomes greasy, try using less apple cider vinegar, switching to lemon or lime juice, leaving out the honey, and/or using a comb instead of a brush. Also, make sure you’re applying the apple cider vinegar just to the ends of your hair.
• If your scalp itches, try the following essential oils; tea tree, lavender, rosemary. If your hair becomes dry, try a tiny bit of oil (any oil, I use olive) smoothed on bottom of hair.
Ready to make the change? Sure! Don’t be afraid to go no 'poo. You know how to do it! Enjoy the journey – you’re on your way to a healthier you!
I've also heard of folks using Borax (the laundry booster) instead of baking soda.
I instead use "Amla" which is an ayurvedic beauty remedy. I get the Dabur range which you can find in any Indian store. Amla is an Indian gooseberry which has been used for 1000's of years, not just in beauty products but as a herb. The Dabur oil smells a bit and as far as I know contains mineral oil.
So I am learning to make my own with the whole dried fruit and steam boiling with one saucepan on top of the other filled with water. It is hard to get the dried fruit in shops, many places sell the powder but I found a small herbal shop here in Australia that sells the whole fruit. They also sell the whole dried fruit on http://www.amazon.com.
There is a good youtube video on how to make your own Amla oil from scratch. You can ask the folk at http://www.reviveholisticbeauty.com
they are the people that put out the youtube video. It is amateurish but it provides good instructions on how to make it.
You need "fractionated" coconut oil, avocado oil and olive oil. You just boil it for an hour until it turns brown. Do not let it turn black and let it steep overnight before draining through a strainer with cheesecloth or muslin. You can keep for a minimum of 2 weeks in a glass jar.
How did you get on with the suggestions raised in the replies to this question?
Did you get any better results?
I quit using shampoo several months ago after reading advice from John Fielder (http://www.johnfielder.com.au/index.html) on the INHS Yahoo Forum. The key points were 1) only wash your hair in water and 2) give it a good brushing.
I've followed this advice and am more than pleased with the results. By brushing, I mean several minutes each day spent brushing the hair in all directions to distribute the natural hair oils as evenly as possible before finishing with my normal style (if you can call it a style!)
I suspect that your idea of leaving coconut oil on your head all day will lead to blocked poors and dirty hair. Using any other product is just asking for destroying your body's natural health and defenses.
people of color have been using coconut oil in the hair daily, & they refer to it as "scalp food", & it is widely used in latin america.
There's nothing in it that will hurt you if you leave it in.
If you are getting a smell that is anything other than an extremely light buttery kind of coconut odor--which is rarely noticible after it sinks in--then it is from dead skin & bacteria--SEBUM--that's the icky hair smell. NOT THE COCONUT OIL!
break down & buy some gentle natural tearless baby shampoo-a name brand, or suave, but not a dollar store generic, and wash the sebum out of your hair.
You don't have to shampoo everyday, but if your hair is more than 1/2" long, you're gonna want to, at least once in a while-OTHERWISE YOU"LL HAVE A NASTY ECO-SYSTEM!!!-
because, see, hair gets VERY dirty, your scalp sweats, the dead skin cells that come off of your scalp trap the odors & bacteria & virus, dirt & smoke, smog, in the air--and holds them there--washing the hair is a good thing, it promotes health through hygene & you don't need to use a harsh shampoo to do that.
If it's gentle enough for a baby's eye, it's gentle enough for an adult's hard head. Just rinse it well.
Even ancient man washed the hair-with something other than water as soon as they figured out what to use. It promoted health & kept the parasites at bay.
That person who coughed or sneezed behind you at work or school just loaded your hair up with with bacteria & virus--think about it--
Hair, like skin, is a defense-it protects you, even though it's dead-that's it's original function-but you gotta get the gunk out once in a while.
Hair shouldn't smell bad if it's clean, VCO all day or not.
Borax is great!I mix it with a little liquid castille soap and water then pour it over my head. It *really* works up a lather and it leaves my hair squeaky clean! It works as a body wash at the same time...
hola, i am cecilio from Honduras and I built a small extra virgin 100% pure coconut oil extraction operation (full capacity 200 bottles/day) from self growing coconut trees on the caribbean coast. Everything working fine with the production (I have a KK40 oil press), other 10-12 local peoples involved in the process. But i cannot sell the oil to distriduidors because I dont have a sanitary register#. That will cost me at least 20,000US$ mainly to put tiles on the walls. no help from the banks so I had to stop the extraction because all my money went in the equipment for extraction. I need help to not lose my business and everybody can get back to work. Traditionaly coconut has been used to cure many diseases here but it has been replaced by processed palm oil which lead to obesity, diabetes.... but we have enough coconuts to give more health to our peoples, teaching them to come back to the roots.
right now I have 300bottles that I cannot put in supermarkets or shops because I don't have the register#. govt supervisors will fine them and take the product away
So if anyboby wants to join to make the world better or has any ideas on how to get the founds please tell me
In ayurvedic medicine coconut oil is considered cooling. They actually suggest that one uses sesame oil for feet massaging but if someone suffers from heat should use coconut oil instead.
Based on that, one would expect that ingestion of coconut oil would have a cooling effect on the body.
However, most users report an elevation of body temperature and having warmer limbs.
How is this so? Could anyone explain it?
Not sure about that, since it raises body temperature.
yes, it raises body temperature to normal. Which tells me it is a modulator of body temperature since it doesn't keep raising it to be abnormal. That us why I think it has a cooling effect on the body. It dampens down the inflammation so the body can maintain a normal temperature, not too low or high.
I am 64 YO and my teeth are 100% sound - no cavities or fillings but I do see the gum receding on one tooth.
I take many medicines incl, hydrocodone, lisinopril, levothyroxine, allopurinol, neuronton and Cymbalta. I get a REALLY Bad dry mouth from all these meds. In researching what to do about the dry mouth, I came across OP and I have been doing it for about 2 weeks. I use coconut oil and I hope that in addition to my dry mouth OP will eventually help with some of my other health problems. I follow the OP with brushing my teeth with salt and baking soda but I have ordered some xylitol and hope to make a homemade toothpaste.
Here is my question: I take a handful of medicines at about 5:30 am. Then I get up at about 8:00 or so and would like to do OP then. Is there any problem that I have taken meds and maybe a piece of fruit only 2 1/2 hours earlier?
I am especially concerned that I reduce the effectiveness of either the OP the meds or both.
I have recently created a blog that will discuss in depth the steps I'm taking to remove stretchmarks received over the course of a single pregnancy. The marks are now 9 years old, but I'm taking this very seriously and have commited myself to the end. If I can make a difference in the lives of the people here, I will forever feel accomplished as I know firsthand what a struggle body image can be.
Join me on my journey at www.stretchmarksanonymous.com. I'm also on Twitter and Instagram with the handle @fixingmymarks
I will be using a dermaroller/dermastamp and other natural methods. I wish all of you the best of luck on your own journeys!!
There is one more thing which will help you to reduce the cellulites.

I have fungus all over my body (skin, fingers, face, feet, hands). I spray with Colloidal Silver like crazy but I need something more powerful (internal or external). What is the most effective and safe. I read Lamisil can kill you. What are the other options?
Fungus. Bipolar, skin all point to diet and vitamin deficiency diseases.
Health scientists agree on two important points. As much as 90% of health is dietary. Eighty percent of a healthy body is the digestion and elimination system. Disease prevention is the immune system fortified with the vitamins/minerals, and nutrients that support the immune and digestive systems.
Quote, Dr F R Klenner, “ white blood cell without adequate vitamin ‘C’ is like soldiers without bullets”.
the crippling effects to the immune system by toxic refined sugars, white bread, white rice, pasta, limit starchy foods, vegetable oils, junk foods, chemicals in processed foods, all soft drinks, soy, soy milk, microwave, deep fried foods and artificial sweeteners. The excess sugars in the body are used by fungus, yeasts, parasites, diseases to grow and replicate. Cause allergies, candida, bipolar, depression, obesity.
Human/animal grade diatomaceous is important with ‘C’ to control parasites that drain the body of nutrients, energy and to replace cells burnt up by inflammation and to control the destructive force of free radicals.
Also tiny natural raw seeds Hemp, chia., sesame, mustard, cumin, amaranth and many more.
Great energy sustaining foods without adverse effects and a powerhouse of nutrients.
good with 'C' for they complement each other. Seeds do not contain 'C'. but is the thing they produce
when they sprout hence they are health foods for many.
I take the seeds on a soup spoon and wash down with any liquid.
Variety is the spice of life and health. Spices are nutritious and medicinal. Some make great nutritional teas.
Hope you make time for this, it can add 5 to 20 years of a healthy life.
If you like taking care of your nails, there is nothing better than trying out the Nail Kit from Sakare. This affordable and yet polished product is a bestseller and it has everything you want for your nails. From keep your nail in perfect shape to moistening them, it has everything that you will ever need.
I have suffrered from fungal issues for much of my life. I tried many topical antifungals as well as oral prescription drugs like lamisil. Nothing was ever totally effective.
The only thing that works on all skin fungal issues is your own urine. Try it topically on your skin for a week and you will see results. Athlete's foot, jock itch, any fungus on your skin are easy fixes. Toenail fungus takes a while longer but urine also works on it, better than anything I have tried. Fresh urine has no odor and it quickly evaporates.
Anyone here that knows if CO would help kill off those pesky Demodex mites on face and eyelashes? I'm sure I have them, I have had blepharitis severly, only when I'm on Minocykline the eyes aren't gritty, dry and irritated. But I have decided not to take the antibiotics any more ( after 5 consecutive years) and now, less than 2 weeks off, my eyes starts to act up again. I looked at them through a magnifying glass in the mirror and the roots looks suspicious.
I just want to get rid of them! I already rub my scalp with Listerine, change my pillowcase every night, soak all hair clips and combs in alcohol and Listerine once a day.
I know tea tree oil is effective in killing these mites, but I'm afraid of putting it on my lids and lashes.
Do you think the CO would be strong/good enough to help with this problem? I also have the Terrasil ointment, would that be ok to rub on lashes? Is it even effective enough to kill mites?
Ive been thinking that castor oil might suffocate them as well? I already use it on my scalp for hair growth, which is very effective. I'm thinking about trying the CO tonight, just slab it on real thick, after a thorough cleans of the lashes.
I'm not really losing any lashes, not yet, but am afraid I will soon ( again) after stopping the Mino. And I hate this gritty feeling in my eyes, it's worst at night, hard to see. I'm constantly blinking as if there is something stuck in my eyes.
It's the aggressive kind, 2mm increase in 6 months. I had a full mouth debridement with the ultra sonic scaler that took 35 minutes, and they called this thing they did "scaling and root planing" and charged me as if it were srp.
They also gave me arestin. My whole mouth was pink and flawless from days 10-14 after treatment, then the infections began to return 1 by 1. So I began oil pulling with coconut oil religiously twice a day right at that 14th day. Still, the infections are returning everywhere. I'm coming up to my 6 week return visit in a few days which means i'm coming up to the 1 month mark for having been oil pulling consistently.
1 week ago I added pure xylitol to my oil pulls and get the 5 exposures per day recommendation. And I also use the 1 part bleach in 20 parts water solution for my pocket irrigation. I have also been using on and off oregano oil. My toothpaste is the stuff from dr mercola. I floss and use the waterpik twice a day.
So my question is, where do I go from here? I've thought about adding Colloidal Silver OR iodone. I've also got the calcium + zinc chips coming. But I have a feeling nothing is going to cure it
Colloidal Silver should be very helpful. I assume you are on a low Sugar and low carb type of diet. The terrain of your body affects your teeth and gum health tremendously as you probably are aware of. High stress can also cause these type of infections to increase. You are doing all the right stuff from what I can see. A zapper might be a helpful device to have as it can help kill blood born infections which helps the teeth as well.
Take 800 mgs of CoQ-10 per day.
Put a teaspoon of organic hawthorne berry powder in a cup of tea and drink 2-3 times daily.
Swish your mouth with hydrogen peroxide 2-3 times daily.
Put a few drops of food grade h202 in water and drink 2-3 times daily.
Gums go first and then the heart.
Gums and heart need the same kind of nutrients.
Eat heart healthy and it will help your gums.
Be sure you are getting plenty of Iodine.
As "grist for your mill," you might like to try the following: Rinse your mouth as often as possible/practicable with sodium ascorbate. You can make your own by mixing one part of sodium bicarbonate with two parts of ascorbic acid.
Additionally, I would recommend you ingest a Bowel Tolerance dose of ascorbic acid several times a day.
You might find these three quotes of interest:
"Administration of vitamin C to children with significant gum disease clearly improves the condition." -- Dr. Thomas Levy, MD, PRIMAL PANACEA, page 176.
"There are more than ten thousand scientific papers that make it quite clear that there is not one body process (such as what goes on inside cells or tissues) and not one disease or syndrome (from the common cold to leprosy) that is not influenced - directly or indirectly - by vitamin C." -- Dr. Emanuel Cheraskin, M.D., Dr. Marshall Ringsdorf, D.M.D., and Dr. Emily Sisley, THE VITAMIN C CONNECTION.
“I have never seen a patient that Vitamin C would not benefit.” -- Dr. Frederick Klenner, M.D.
I wish you BEST success, BB, in your search for better health!
I'd recommend this new CDH product which is made from sodium chlorite. I'll try to post the link to the post here but for your condition, I'd recommend increasing the dose from 2ml CDH per 75ml of water to 5ml or more, depending on what you can tolerate. It should be very effective for you. Here's the link: http://curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=2139478
Here's the follow up post for all the paranoid google searchers who don't want to be left hanging
9 weeks ago I had a mouth full of 4s and 5s, couple 3s couple 2s. Bone loss in the canines and first molars. Lots of bleeding on probing, scary threats from the dentist. etc.
My appointment today which is 2 months later, I've done
6 weeks of oil pulling twice a day 20 min each
4 weeks of xylitol use 5 times a day
3 weeks of dilute hypochlorite pocket irigation evry other day
1 week of calcium/zinc mouthwash & 1/day carpule use from CTI
Flossed after every meal, brushed half hour later, water pick before bed everyday. So I averaged 3 brushings a day, 2 flossings, and 1-2 water pick cleansings.
Periodontist read all 3s and some 4s. More 3s than 4s, and some 2s in there. Very little bleeding on probing. Perio said it appears at this moment the disease has been arrested. But she diagnosed me with having had ANUG or acute necrotizing ulcerative gingivtis, not just perio disease.
My take - disease is still there hiding in some pockets, I can feel it, and the tissue around my canines is very tender and bleeds if I use the waterpick on it. I can also feel disease activity in some of my gums (because of the aggressive nature of this bacteria). But anyway so far this is great news. Still have some time ahead of me to figure out where things will go from here but if this is working for something like ANUG then it should definitely treat any ordinary gum disease
Also, note my post, the third one in the thread, where I mention other things I myself was doing. I know others with dental/gum issues have been helped by the topical calcium materials from calciumtherapy.com which are specific for gum disease. The dentist who runs the site, Dr. Mark Manhart, is very nice and helpful.
I have been oil pulling every day with organic coconut oil, sometimes twice a day. I previously had sore gums and the oil pulling helped greatly.
Before I stated OP my teeth were not very white and I was really unhappy with them.
I noticed that they were becoming even more discoloured and I felt it was due to the coconut oil.
Last week I had my checkup at the dentist and I got the scale & polish cleaning. After the dentist cleaning was done, all the staining was removed and my teeth were actually white. I couldn't believe it. I am delighted.
Now I am scared to oil pull again encase it stains my teeth and I have to wait 6 months for the dentist to clean them again.
After I OP I just rinse with cold water. I was wondering if that was causing the oil to harden and stain my teeth?
Sory if this is a bit long winded bit I would greatly appreciate any adivce.
You will need… -Several teaspoons of baking soda -Enough lemon juice or water to form a paste -A toothbrush
Mix several teaspoons of baking soda with enough fresh lemon juice (or water) to make a paste. Wipe your teeth and any extra saliva off of them with a paper towel. Put a good amount of paste onto your toothbrush and apply. Leave the paste on for 1 minute, then rinse, so as to avoid the acid effecting enamel. If you are using just water you can leave it on for up to 3 minutes.
2. Coconut Oil Rinse
You will need… -About a tablespoon of coconut oil
In the morning, before you brush your teeth, scoop out a tablespoon or a little less (depending on the size of your mouth) of coconut oil. You can either soften it, or just put it in your mouth (I usually do the latter, and just let it soften.) Push, swish, and “pull” the oil through and around your teeth for 10-15 minutes, then spit it out, rinse with water, and brush your teeth.
I have a coconut tool which is a handle with a stainless steel cutter which you twist into the eyes on the coconut. The biggest problem is that the stainless steel cutter is frequently too big for the smaller coconuts and it is damn difficult to get it into them. I found a drill works better for smaller coconuts. Empty the coconut water, I keep that and then bake the coconut in the oven for an hour. Then it can be easily cracked open and the shell comes away from the flesh quite easily.
Without baking it's a real pain getting the flesh away from the shell.
Hum that is odd, from what I've read other people have had very good experiences with using coconut oil for that...You might try ozonated olive oil, I have read it is absolutely wonderful for both. I am looking to buy me some at http://www.aloeessence.com/ It is in the skin products section and is called Nature's Gift. I spoke with the owner of the company, she said a friend of hers used it on her 9 year old stretch marks and now they are gone. That is actually what I intend on trying it on is my terrible stretch marks, I'll let ya'll know the results. :)
When I was a kid, I spent too much time in hospital... sometimes for a month... with severe eczema.
Then, as a teen, one foreign born doctor told me to ONLY USE coconut oil and cocoa butter on my skin and hair.
The severe dermatitis began to leave me and now these are the primary oils I use on my skin and hair for more decades than I care to relate.
Some folks have compromised liver issues or digestive tract issues that need to be resolved in order to get to the cause of eczema. Others need to identify and deal with allergens.
Hope this helps
ps I get my coconut oil from tropical traditions com.
Extra virgin coconut oil is the only kind to use, especially on the skin. I've used this on burns and exema and the results were great. The burn (scalding water from pasta pot) healed almost overnight, and left no scar or any kind of mark, and my 2 teenage grandkids use it on their exema, and get very good results. If they'd stop drinking all tha soda pop they'd do well, I believe.
The same site you linked to for information...I repeat it made my eczema skin burst open at the seams creating large open wounds...I posted my warning because I wanted to warn other people not to try it hoping it would work, because it did not work for me...in fact it made my condition worse...
Use bleeding therapy, by slashing my hands with a knife than use the coconut oil on them again...as the coconut oil leaves even deeper and more painful cuts on my hands...while you say mine is not the typical response...it has been typical for me...I have been stupid enough to try it three times...and if it is so bad on the outside of my body, I am not anxious to try it inside...
We're not trying to deny the fact that you had a very bad experience with coconut oil but like the above commented it is not typical. The reason coconut oil is good for skin is because its both moisturizing, an anti-microbial, and is also used in many skincare products on the market today. I'm curious if what you are reacting to is an allergy. Nut allergies are very common. This reminds me of the time an old coworker tried Burt's Bees Royal Jelly Eye Creme and her eyes swelled up like balloons... it didn't occur to her that her severe allergy to bees would be effected. I had a similar incident when I put a very popular body lotion on my face and was left with welts all over! So before bashing coconut oil all over the internet that works for a large majority of people, let's instead give the precondition to patch test every product you try.
I have had Enzema off and on for 15 years. Spent a lot of money buying creams/gels and special moisturizers recommended by my dermatologist, as well as the aggravation of having it. Never went away, would hibernate and then pop back up and I just got used to a scaly left palm all the time. I started using coconut oil (Spectrum organic refined) about 2 weeks ago because of reading on the net some people had luck with coconut oil... and I use it for cooking and had it in my cabinet! I have persian cats so what it did was buy thin gloves and cut off the fingers so I could apply the oil to my palm in the evening and cover it with the glove so it wouldn't get on my cats when I pet them. Using the glove may have helped penetrate it better since it was locked in and stayed on all night. My 3" patch of those white itchy bumps and scaly skin on my palm is almost gone and more than 2/3 of the patch has returned to normal feeling skin. The other 1/3 is on it's way. It looks to me like the coconut oil found the root of the problem and is not only getting rid of that but also moisturizing/repairing my skin at the same time. When this last little 1/4" x 1/2" patch goes away, I'm taking a picture of it and sending to my dermatologist so he will at least mention it to some of his other patients. I've gone FIFTEEN YEARS having this crap and the simple solution was something you buy to cook with!!!! LOL!
Hi I had very dry skin and decided to try extra virgin coconut oil (Barleans). The first night it worked OK, but all subsequent applications has cracked up my skin and dried it up so it feels really tight. Now after a few days not only have I got v.dry skin but my eczema has come back and it is weeping. I also tried Emu Oil but that made me itch after an hour or so after applying it.
So...unfortunately it has failed to work for me!
I had the same reaction to my eczema. I suppose it depends on how sensitive your skin is. My friend put it on the ends of her hair, not her root, and it resulted in her scalp becoming raw and swollen. I had also once put some on my eyelashes and when I woke up, my eyelids and cheeks were red and raw. I have to use everything unscented. I have tried lye soap but it only drys my skin out. I had also been cunsulted to try Prednisone, but I heard that it could cause liver damage. I hope for your (and everyone else with eczema) sake that there is something for this wretched skin condition.

I am so glad to find someone else with eczema who has had the same reaction to coconut oil. having read so much about the benefits with no mention of any adverse effects, I was cooking with it and putting it on my skin. I wasn't sure what was causing the painful hacks on my fingers and on the palms of my hands but having tried to eliminate all other possible causes, am now left with no doubt that it is the coconut oil. Thank you.
About 7 years ago I had a root canal done (on the very back molar) by a terrible dentist (he was recommended as a great dentist in the area) and he never put a crown on it. Over time a small piece of the side of the tooth broke and I kept temporary filling in there to keep food from getting in. Last night the tooth fell out and now I have a hole there. A few weeks ago, I believe I had an infection there and started oil pulling and it seemed to get better plus a round of antibiotics from my doctor. And rinsing with salt water and tea tree oil diluted in water.
My question is will continued oil pulling help this from getting infected until I can see a dentist? I have a few months until my dental insurance from my job kicks in. I wish the dentist would have just pulled it like I wanted.
I have had dyshidrotic eczema for the last 7 years. Until this last outbreak I had never had the extreme disabling, itching, painful, anxiety kind of outbreak that others have suffered for many years. I always had small outbreaks along side my ring finger of my left hand. Annoying, itchy, ugly, but not the kind of horrendous experience this last outbreak was. I had to laugh after reading other people's accounts of mildly considering cutting off the offending hand because : I WAS THERE. I thought "I can't live with this". The itching was so intense it was making me insane. If I popped this blisters they just filled back up. I tried SO HARD to not touch if. On the 5th day of being extremely vigilant I woke up in bliss. I was in the supremely satisfying half asleep state and something felt better than anything else in my life up until that moment. Then the terror set in as I realized what felt so good was that I was scratching the hell out of my hand in my sleep!! Then the despair set in! Because we all know what happens when you give in and scratch the blisters - they get worse!
During this outbreak I had been calling my parents who live on the other side of Washington State. They know a lot about Western & Naturopathic medicine. My Dad had been taking a natropathic cannabis medicine called Rick Simpson oil for prostrate cancer (it's now in remission). My Dad also has had very light dyshidrotic outbreaks. My Dad has been emailing with about 15 professors from around the U.S. that have been doing studies on different medical trials for cannabis. The last time he had an outbreak he decided to try mixing some of the Rick Simpson oil with coconut oil and putting it on his outbreak like a salve. The outbreak dried up and went away after 2 days.
At this point I was desperate to try anything, and after scouring the web I had had no luck with any other type of cure. My doctor had offered me a Prednesone shot, but I wanted to wait and use that as a last resort since steroids are so damaging to your body.
My Dad packaged up the Rick Simpson oil for me and sent it to me. Now I have to note that I live in Washington State. I am over 21. Cannabis products are legal here. Where you live this may not be. As a person who had suffered this horrible disease I only want to give you the information that cured me. What you do it your business. Maybe your dyshidtrotic eczema is so bad that you are willing to get on a plane and go to WA or CO. Maybe you have a license for medical marijuana and can pick up the Rick Simpson oil at your local Medical Marijuana dispensary.
I would also like to state that I am not a cannabis user. It's legal where I live, but I just don't enjoy it. I want you to know that I have no Pro Cannabis agenda. All I care about is that if one person reads this and decides to try it for themselves and is cured then that is a wonderful thing. Being able to share what 100% cured me with no awful side effects, and helping a fellow sufferer is all I want.
Rick Simpson oil is sold and packaged in a plastic syringe. It is incredibly tacky, sticky, and hard to work with so this is the easiest way to monitor how much someone is taking and measure it out. When I received the package from my Dad this was how it came. He had sent me 2 syringes. I took the first one and pushed out about a teaspoon into a clean glass bowl and mixed it with equal parts softened good quality raw coconut oil.
I then applied it all over my fingers and palm where I had the blisters and open sores. I had my husband help wrap my hand in medical guaze so I wouldn't get it all over the covers. A few minutes afterwards my hand started lightly burning. I was worried but at this point I thought "well maybe it's going to make it worse, or maybe it's because it's working". Even though it was a little uncomfortable I decided to leave it alone, and go to bed. When I woke up the next morning the blisters had all deflated and the whole area was much less inflamed. I repeated the coconut oil salve for the next 4 days. I didnt have a single new blister since the first night I put it on. My hand also didn't disolve into the gaping wounds and cracked skin that usually follows the blisters. I was healed. I have repeated this mixture every time I get an outbreak and it heals it immediately and painlessly.
I would also like to tell you a few things about Rick Simpson oil. First is that I did not have any psychotropic effects from using it on my skin. It can make you high put ONLY if you ingest it. This is why I wrapped my hand with gauze because I didn't want to accidently ingest it in my sleep. Also Rick Simpson oil is VERY different than the CBD oil that is sold in almost all dispenseraries(sp?). My Dad explained that CBD is much more refined and left over from the commercial hemp crops in Europe. Rick Simpson oil is made for the purpose of isolating all the healing properties of the whole plant instead of only certain cannabanoids (like THC) that are usually isolated for a different purpose (like smoking). So if you buy the oil that people use for smoking or CBD this may not work. You need Rick Simpson oil, which you can also make at home. There are plenty of online resources that explain it. If you have no way to get it near you, my Dad thinks you can get close to the same thing by steeping an ounce of fresher marijuana in a small amount of coconut oil. You can find out how to do that online as well.
Bless all of you fellow sufferers, and I hope you try this. It didn't "kinda" cure me, or help a little, THIS MADE MY OUTBREAK DISAPEAR!
apple cider vinegar is really helpful in so many ways. not only for eczema. Take 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar and water. Mix this and apply the mixture on the eczema affected skin using cotton ball You can also take the mix in a sprayer bottle and spray it on the skin. A humidifier does help to soothe it. The dry heat can irritate eczema more and that is why a lot of children have more outbreaks during the winter months. The humidifier puts some of that moisture back into the air. honeywell brands are good. Aroma diffuser ion138 is also good just put a chamomile essential oil. it can be used to calm acne, eczema, rashes, dry and itchy skin and other allergic conditions in general.
Hello everyone, My name is Darryl and I have been suffering from Disydrotic Eczema since 2008. My DE is brought on by stress. I have used Clabetasol which is not very effective, the only real management I found was stress management.
However, I recently experimented with Medical Marijuana which is high CBD low THC. This ratio only gives the smoker the muscle relaxant effects and acts as an anti-inflammatory. You DO NOT get high at all, CBD does not have Psychoactive properties.
Anyways, the reason I started to smoke was for the muscle relaxant effects, but then I noticed that my DE went away completely in 2 days!!!
In fact, I am going through a very stressful period in right now. We have been approved for a mortgage and are now going through the painful process of escrow. Normally, I would have the worst of the worst breakout right now. I started smoking weed to calm my nerves, and I was very surprised that not only did I not break out more, but it actually got rid of it :)
If you can get access to getting a Cannibus Card and to a dispensary...I would highly recommend you try High CBD low THC medical marijuana. They may even have CBD oils or oral sprays as alternatives.
Good luck, I was so stoked about this that I wanted to share and help other suffering from this terrible condition
I'm hoping I can get some help here. I have been dealing with this parasite problem for a little while now. I think my mistake was taking many different types of treatments and not truly following up or keeping an effective diet. I have tried Paragone (worked for a little while) Humaworm, Worm Doctor, and Prescription meds. A couple have worked temporarily but I have yet to find a permanent fix. At first I made it a point to look after bowel movements and at times I would see something (Yuck!), but now I don't even want to look, I am going by the horrible itching at night. That's when I can tell everything I've done hasn't done the job. I can however say that since taking these treatments my energy is back, I'm not as sluggish nor as anemic.
I decided I would go a different route, began with Pineapple and fresh coconut. I then read that Coconut Oil would be more effective, so I began taking Coconut Oil (3 tablespoons per day) as well as Cayenne Pepper once per day as well as "Super Cleanse" for a colon cleanse. It's been a little over a week since this treatment and after the the 2nd day I was not experiencing the nightly itching as bad. However, after the 5th day the itching began again! I also recently read that dried coconut is also very effective. Does anyone know if this is the coconut sold in stores as "Dried Coconut Flakes", if not can someone please tell me how I should prepare this? Also, should I use young coconuts (green) or your standard coconut?
My realy question is if anyone on this board has had any success with Coconut Oil & Cayenne Pepper? If so, how much should I take and how long before it really starts to work. I really don't know what else to do. I also tried Papaya & papaya seeds (they taste horrible) for a couple of days. Maybe I'm not taking this stuff for a long enough period. Can someone - anyone please help me with some direction. I am committed to continuing this treatment, I just want to get an idea of how long before I can possibly see some results. If you can recommend anything else I would greatly appreciate it. I've taken so much in the past that I really want to stick with natural foods and supplements. By the way, could Castor Oil really help?
Thank you in advance to anyone who could offer me some much needed help.
From what I understand there is no permanent fix here.
The parasites are there for reason according to Barefoot MH. I suggest you go to Barefoot MH forum to get as much info about parasites and more so you might get a good grip on what is going on about concerning parasites and more.
The guy knows a lot, I mean he is a top notch when it comes to herbs use and natural cure stuff. I say he is one of the best IMO, but if you ask me about his crazy Conspiracy theory? I think it’s about time that he let it go.
Anyhoo! For the itching part, I think if you mean the part where the sun does not shine, apply oil and what ever parasite herb you have. Make a small paste of any good oil and the powder of your parasite herb. That makes wonders on the itching part. The itching is from the parasites leaving to lay their eggs in the cracks and the entrance of your exit. I know that is disgustingly nasty. Yuck!
I am just throwing my 2 cents here. I think the coconut oil and cayenne peppers and also the castor oil flush are all good for maintenance purpose after you took care of the parasite cleansing first.
If you have itching at the anal orifice then I am wondering if you have pin worms and/or some other kind of parasite that has to come outside to breed.
I did leave a string here on Curezone, not too long ago at all, about how I got rid of pinworms by keeping the orifice slathered in Noxzema for about a week. They can't live in that antiseptic, it is soothing to the area, and they can't breed in that area. Just a thought.
If you work around little kids, I have read one person on the net saying 1/4 has pinworms. Don't know if that is true or not.
All of the cleanses DID work... You must follow directions exactly and take them for the perscribed length of time. I've heard experts say that it can take up to a year to effectively kill parasites, that is, when a person is dilligentlly woking at it.
Parasites lay tons of eggs every day... some don't hatch till the parent worm dies, so we must keep at it til all the eggs hatch and all of the worms in all stages are dead. You just kill off some worms, and then stop way to soon. You have reduced the population enough to see an improvement, but left enough for them to re-populate.
If a person doesn't Colon Cleanse and change their diet from the junk food (It's not even "food") it creates a yucky mess in the intestines that provide a breeding place for parasites and places for them to hide.
There are many things that kill parasites... you just have to take/eat enough for long enough. You want to, at least, reduce the population and eventually get rid of them and their habitat. The fewer parasites there are the less ammonia in your system, and it's the ammonia from them that is damaging to us, creating diseases.
So pick a program and stick to it, and when it is completed, pick another.... you are bound to kill off some types of parasites with each one.
Thank you all so much for your feedback and wonderful suggestions. I have been so concerned with this problem for so long. I will definitely read the Barefoot MH forum and contact him as well. By the way, what is his theory?
I am going to buy some Noxema tomorrow and give this a try. Do you think this can really be a permanent fix - I really hope so! I'm just a little worried about it burning = Ouch!
Watch - What oil do you recommend for the mixture you suggested. Would mixing with Garlic and coconut oil be sufficient?
I used just baby oil. It worked fine for me.
I hope this won’t get me flamed. You know here in cure zone the organic and natural stuff obsession?
Garlic is too mild for those suc***s. I tried garlic. Garlic just messed up with them and stirred them up for more itching. That drove me crazy till I started to fumigate them with Para shield. One thing I like about the Para shield is that it’s a thick liquid in a capsule so easy to apply.
Thank you Watch. I'm going to try your suggestion, it makes sense and I could see how that would work. Is there any burning and did using the Parashield stop the itching for you?
I just started on Barefoot's Dewormer and the lower bowel cleanse. I've been on both for 3 days now and the itching has only gotten worse. I hope this is a symptom that it's working, because the itching is twice as bad as it was before I started on the dewormer. Do you know how soon you can see results from Barefoot's dewormer?
Hello llisa33. I'm a 25 years old male from Turkey. I had a bad habit of eating raw processed meat products when I was a teenager but I did not get a parasite from it as far as I could understand. Later, I started eating raw fish with strong ingredients to kill unwanted organisms such as onion and/or garlic, cayenne pepper and/or black pepper, it always had some cruciferous vegetables and usually contained turmeric, ginger, lemon, peppermint and some other healthy ingredients. I decided to eat like that upon reading some health experts but I think I have brain parasites from it. I got this thought from a few very small biting feelings inside my skull and itching of my scalp and some people with writings about parasites verified that it can be brain parasites. I've also noticed some mental decline but I guess it is mainly due to the change of my diet in the wrong direction lately. It became very inflammatory from very anti-inflammatory 2 months ago, I took more than 20 pounds and now I'm changing my diet again.
I've read wormwood, green Black-Walnut hull tincture and freshly ground cloves can work for more than 100 parasites(with close 130-140 parasites on earth) and some other sites suggested berberine(a constituent of some herbs suggested for parasites). If something does not change my mind I will buy and use wormwood and green Black-Walnut hull tinctures and berberine together with cloves I will grind myself.
What happened to your parasites ? Could you get rid of them ? If yes, how did you get rid of them ?
Wonderkid, if you have brain parasites it is very hard to tell, as there are no nerves in your brain. The scalp, however, is more accurate. The problem with them living in the brain is that there's no food source there for them - they will eventually die! Not to say that the cysts created by worms aren't a problem, they are very serious and can cause epilepsy. If you believe that this is the problem, go get an MRI to check for cysts! But be aware, if this is an ongoing problem, that they are not reproducing in the brain. They end up there because they got lost, and will die up there. They come from the intestines, that's where the food source is! Kill them there and like Charly said, be diligent. Stool tests are seriously inaccurate so if you have a positive one, count your lucky stars and work with it.
If you don't know the species, try to identify them in the stool. Be careful with the freshly ground cloves, as this can really do more harm than good because of the damage to gut flora. Cloves are supposedly great for killing eggs, so use them after you kill the mature worms if at all an adult worm will drop their entire egg load before they die. This is why not being diligent actually makes things worse, as these eggs will grow into an infestation worse than the previous one if left to grow up into mature worms.
I also feel like you're trying the WRONG diets. Parasites will cause more problems then a diet like that could ever fix, and eating raw foods is just TOO RISKY! Eat everything cooked WELL DONE or don't eat it at all! Here's the best diet you can do - No Artificial preservatives , **No GMO's**, Organic, cooked well, with little to no yeast or sugar. Tell me you don't feel better after 1 month of that.
As for the mental decline, DON'T STRESS ABOUT IT SO MUCH! This is completely normal for parasitic infections, and you will get back to being your old self as soon as you treat the problem. The worms release ammonia and other toxins which affect your brain in lots of strange ways. They can cause very serious anxiety and depression, you are NOT alone! It's important to keep thinking happy thoughts, as the mind is a powerful tool in recovery. Telling yourself that you won't get better doesn't help at all.
For a natural kill for just about all parasites, and some more advice on getting parasites to move out of the brain and back down where they need to be to be killed, read this. http://curezone.com/forums/am.asp?i=2136310#i
One of my favorites success stories.
Also in regards to Pinworms, it's best to let them lay those eggs on the outside where you can get rid of them in the morning, if you think about it. You guys have this advantage over people infected with almost any other kind of worm. This will keep the population down. The itching can be horrible, but we want to treat the problem not the symptoms, right?
It's also super important to remember not to feed the worms. Eat foods that are good for YOU not THEM. This will be hard to do at first and cravings are horrible, but there has never been a better time to build good eating habits than now, especially now since it's out of necessity! Should make it a bit easier than before.
Hope this helps, sorry it was so long. I hope for a smooth recovery for everyone!
Lufenuron has helped us greatly with worms, fungus and Candida. My daughter was expelling little red worms for about two months while using Lufenuron! I noticed some thread worms and that I had a lot more energy. However, I am still having a problem with intestinal Amoeba which I believe the Lufeneron does not work on because Amoebas don't have Chitin in their membrane? From my research, Lufenuron has no known negative side effects for humans. I bought mine from owndoc website (from Sarah Vaughter)
Apparently Tumeric will also kill Amoebas and other parasites.
Castor oil packs are also supposed to help greatly!
I was in such bad shape I had to employ the Gerson Protocol (modified - camomille instead of coffee enemas and closed system colonics as many as I could afford). It took time to understand 'die-off' - the dreaded nighttime itch, headaches, whips and jingles. Four years of the itch. I'd put straight ACV on a folded paper towel and smack dab hold it to my rear and it burned like none other for 5 minutes and resided to relief. A 50/50 dilute is recommended, but I was hellbent. While some of us seek healing because of the itch, it's disconcerting to learn the itch is also a sign of healing - germs dying releasing toxins our bodies react to in unpleasant ways. Age, health history (including medical damage and as a youth) environment, diet all play a role in illness- nevermind Monsanto - and the ignorance some of us lived with because of corruption. Watson & Son Manuka 20+ was a Godsend as a topical for my rear and yoni - alternating with ACV. It's $125/jar - Amazon. But a lesser brand should do fine from a health food store. I knew it was working because of the "sting" that also went away. Still, I itched at night, the honey didn't stop me :) It was applied as an overall, long term healing application. Research everything suggested by anyone & cross-check. Once I realized what I was in for in attempting to heal, it was do or die and I had to come into acceptance that my life would be about research, rest when I could, manage daily affairs leaving little time for fun. 4+ years now, and I'm getting my life back. There was little time to be lonely, I was so busy doing what had to be done.
I am 38 years old and have struggled with dry eyes for 6 years. Recently my eyes have gotten worse. The eye dr says my oil glands are blocked. I am currently using Dr Christopher's eye wash and supplements 3 times per day. I also use a heated mask several times per day. I stay mostly on a paleo diet, have quit taking antihistamines, and use a lot of coconut oil.
My life has a lot of stress.
I have tried castor oil, but it seemed to make my eyes worse.
Any suggestions you have are appreciated.
the eyes don't have oil glands.
Usually dry eyes are due to food allergies.
Buy the book "The Pulse Test" from amazon to find out how your pulse rate reveals whether or not you are having an allergic reaction to a food or drink.
It also reveals food sensitivities which are minor allergies that your doctor can't detect.
Another cause can be adrenal exhaustion which can be caused by food allergies or just too much activity in your life. Rest is essential to balance. Reduce your allergic exposure (food and airborne) and take the herb Maca (1 tablespoon twice a day).
there are oil glands within the visual structure and it is these that your dr will be referring to- google meibomian glands: they line your eyelids. Good functioning of these are crucial to a decent tear film and eye health. sorry you're having such problems and no advice I'm afraid - but thought it might help to correct the misunderstanding in a previous post.
I recently discovered the solution to my chronic dry eye while waiting at Rite-Aid pharmacy. I read an article in their monthly magazine about Chronic Dry Eye. It said to take Omega-3 daily to relieve the problem. I bought some before leaving the store. I take it every day now. I got relief within the first week. It was great. I don't like fish so I use the one Rite-Aid sells that doesn't contain fish oil and the capsules are smaller so it is easier to take. I recommend anyone struggling with Chronic Dry Eye to start taking Omega-3.
I too have suffered from Chronic Dry eye syndrome for several years. I have made a complete recovery from it. I have written a free book about it called "Dry Eyes No More", a free .PDF book. A man by the name of Anthony DeSimone has apparantly read my book and written his own based on some of what I have written before.
Ok. The jist of the book "Dry Eyes No More" is to do with three major issues. If you address those issues, you will see significant relief in 2 weeks! Those three issues are as follows: -
1. The type of water that you drink.
2. The quantity of water that you drink.
3. The content of the water that you drink.
What your many other bodily problems you are having are telling you is that your body is too "acidic"! This is another problem which also has to be addressed. All remedies can be done cheaply:
1. Only alkaline water should be drunk. See YouTube on the benefits of alkaline water. You should be startled and amazed with renewed hope of a quick recovery.
2. You are not drinking enough "pure" water! Drink 16oz of alkaline water a day. Do it slowly, including before going to bed.
3. Your alkaline water should be free of additives and chlorine. Chlorine is a menace to maintaining "wet" eyes.
Avoid Florine where possible!
Change your diet to as follows: -
Eat only a "raw" diet during the day and anything you want in the evening. - Exceptions: No sugar, alchohol, nicotine and caffeine except on the weekends. Keep reducing your consumption of these "exceptions" until they are rare.
*Raw diet: Salads, fruits, vegetables. Pure. No dressings. Plenty of drinking water.
You should see an astonishing recovery within two weeks. The lessons learned from your recovery should keep you on this program indefinitely!
a.) The alkaline drinking water you drink should be used in your cooking water also. (This is very important)!
b.) Never mix waters! If your drink alkaline water, drink and use only alkaline water: - If at a restaurant, only drink your bottled alkaline water. If at friends, do the same too.
c.) Always carry your alkaline water around with you every where you go.
David Barker: (The original) Dry Eyes No More. (I will make it available to the public again).
I am feeling a lot better since I started taking iodine. My eyes are not 100% cured, but they are much more comfortable.
I will look into the alkaline water. Thanks!
I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, low adrenal and some thyroid issues, sinusitis, leaky gut, allergies, insomnia, and I take dhea to help my brain function. All these issues are mostly under control through paleo diet, gentle exercise, brain exercises to turn off my "fight or flight" reflex, supplements, massage, chiropractic, prayer, journaling, and forgiveness.
My chiropractic neurologist has helped me a lot. He just didn't know what to do about my dry eyes.
Started smearing coconut oil on bottom at night, doing hot epsolm salt baths, and took Dr. Reese pinworm medicine . . . . .Its been 2 weeks and this stuff just keeps coming out day and night . . .My bottom and vagina broke out in "blisters" -- red, painful, SUPER itchy, and sore/tender . . . . .
1 - What is this crap??? What kind of parasite is it?
2 - Is this an infestation (they're coming stronger) OR is it just crazy gross die-off symptoms . . .??
Hi, i dont know what that is on the qtip but i can see that your nails have alot of eidges and look thin. Parasites zap your calcium and vitamind from your body and cause overall poor health. You may want to consider doing a round of humaworm and really see what comes out.
Parasites love to wreck havoc on folks with weak immune systems, and try to finish us off. Dont let them. Check your D3 levels, which is most likely low too. You have to rebuild the body so it can help fight off parasites. Bone broth soup is good.
An old lady from the islands told me to cook cow-foot soup. Rich with collogen.
Also ask the butcher for gooseneck. This is the knee of the cow and includes a few inches below and a few inches above the knee. It takes hours to boil in a pressure cooker. You can add pumkin and sweetpotatoes and all sort of vegetables.
Besides taking anti=worm herbs and drugs you have to re-build your body. Dont forget the probiotis and stomach enzymes. Sunshine, lots of water and move(some form of exersize) so they dont think you clocked out and its ok for them to take over.
i haven't been able to find a local butcher here yet but ill try the farmers market. walmart has oxtail soup bones (expensive), chicken feet, and not much else although they do have beef liver ($1.20/lb) and beef tongue and tripe for pretty cheap.
i've been using sweet potatoes for paleo and they are delicious. i cant find pumpkin for cheap enough, was hoping to see the cans on closeout at walmart on the day after Thanksgiving.
eh, all of a sudden i have turkey neck or chicken neck whatever and also my cheeks are sometimes sunken in. few months ago in the summer people kept asking me if i needed water so i wonder if im losing subcutaneous or something, even though i still have 20 lbs at least around mid section. my skin is losing elasticity and is very dry and minor things like mosquito bites dont heal properly or take very long time. im afraid its celiac but parasites wouldnt surprise me either.
Weather you have parasites or not, 'Human/Animal grade diatomaceous earth' will kill parasites in the gut and much more, Eighty to 89% silica and lesser amounts other minerals. Silica is the skeletal remains of fresh water hard-shelled algae.
All natural mineral, not toxic. I have used it over 20 months now and love what it is doing for me. Many call it a miracle for what its done for them. Helps Celiac disease, colon and fibromyalgia, ‘pain', arthritic, 'Parasites', colon, eczema, blood pressure, cholesterol, candida, age spots, adrenal, stomach, 'energy', heart, diarrhea, drugs, constipation, obesity, skin, eyes, hair and nails, toxin, heavy metals, and many more, This is why many call diatomaceous earth (DE, dirt, mud) 'a miracle’. Works best with 3 to 6 grams and more vitamin 'C’ a day and without Processed Sugar and oils. All ages! Can be found online, and animal feed suppliers and some health stores.
Research: ‘diatomaceous Earth testimonials’.
Few people understand the crippling effects to the immune system by toxic refined sugars, oils, junk foods, soy and chemicals in processed foods and artificial sweeteners. The excess sugars in the body are used by fungus, yeasts, parasites, diseases to grow and replicate. Human, animal grade diatomaceous earth is important with ‘C’ to control parasites that drain the body of nutrients, energy and to replace cells burnt up by inflammation, infection and to control the destructive force of free radicals …dez...
Totally - I've been wanting to order Humanworm soon as I get paid but I know I got all kinds of little buggers in me . . . . A few years back a juice fast led to a enema which turned into more enemas which led to garlic and coffee enemas which led to CRAZY crap coming out of me . . . . I've seen pinworms, liver flukes, ascaris, and what looks like "ropeworms" and I think Tapeworms . . .I gre up in the country and was always at rivers and lakes and beaches, going to many BBQ's (food probably wasn't cooked all the way). . . .So I think I've carried this gross stuff my whole life.
Now that I've detoxed a couple years, I've lost weight, stomach went flatter (I mean it's down at least 6 inches!!) . .allergies are MUCH MUCH better, dark circles under eyes wetn away, eyes are brighter, more energy . . . . . I thought parasite infestations were just "crazy talk" before by paranoid health nuts. I learned it's definitely not!! LOL
In this pic, it looks like the skin of a worm to me but I don't know . . . .?
Your symptoms suggest strongyloides stercolis. They are very tiny and hard to see. They will exit your anus and then renter through your skin causing a very itchy rash. I don't know what that is on the swab.
I have seen a weird skin emission since my battle with what I think is strongyloides disseminated. I use wipes all of the time, and the emissions are dark like that. I think whatever liquid these things release dries up and creates what's on your Q-tip. Bear in mind, I have not yet met a doctor who will give me an ELISA test or take me seriously.
ACV and Ylang Ylang essential oil are helping tons (especially the oil - externally and internally but must be diluted). I posted about it earlier at length.
Okay, I'm working my way into the cleansing thing, and I did notice for several days after I did a Salt-Water-Flush I had no body odor. But here's another use for coconut oil... put it on your underarms as a deodorant! I was enamored of it already for smelling wonderful, soft skin, cooking and oil pulling, but then I tried it on my underarms, just on a whim.
OMG! It worked! It works as well as the store-bought deodorants! I am so pleased I have one less conventional toiletry to buy. I read somewhere that it had antibacterial and antifungal properties, which is what gave me the idea. It is amazing stuff. I am starting to think of it as a gift from God, along the lines of garlic -- another amazing natural cure-all, but a stinkier one!
I keep checking my underarms and there is no "sour" smell there any more. After a day or more the coconut oil wears off and I start getting an earthy smell, but not bad. But I think that's how often most people use the aluminum-based store bought antiperspirants, don't they? It's been several days I've been using coconut oil instead of stick deodorant, and I am IMPRESSED with the results.
P.S. I'm using cold-pressed organic virgin coconut oil with a melt point of 76 degrees. Paid $14 for 32 oz. Dr. Coconut brand. Very happy with it. Just ordered some LouAna... does anyone have any experiences with this brand? THANKS!
OMG, this really does work. I started using it as a deoderant (thanks to this msg.) a few days ago. Additionally, I started using it as a skin & hair moisturizer. I've been taking it internally for at least a week. I noticed my skin broke out a bit when I first started taking it internally, but I know that was a good thing (and somewhat bad thing - I was suffering from severe constipation (always happens before "the time of the month",) my body was cleansing itself via my skin - I started drinking Psylilum (sp?) and water/juice two days ago, I'm regular again & my skin is healing.
I also give my dog VCO everyday. So far, so good. He loves it.
I threw away the lotions, hair conditioners & hair moisturizers & my deoderant. I threw away the "cans of PAM" and will be cooking with VCO.
I'm going to purchase more jars of this. I also will add coconut milk and meat to my diet.
I am so going to try this!! Will it still work if one tried to work out at the gym, do you think?
I used coconut oil for the first time last night as a body lotion becayse my skin was gettign dry - OMG even after showering and using tea tree oil soap this morning my skin is soooo soft and smooth. Love it! The brand I got was cheap though so it smells a bit icky, but I'm a student and can't afford the best coconut oil out there (I think I paid $10 for a litre), so c'est la vie! That litre will last forever though - and now I get to use it as a deodorant!! No more pricey body lotions! yay!
In response to replacing conventional deodorants with Coconut oil.
I started doing this several months ago.
I now rub the oil on my armpits every night.
It took a few weeks to see results, but now I'm ODOR FREE!!
I've tried several brand ALL virgin unrefined, cold pressed.
Now I stick to one : NUTIVA is my absolute favorite.
I would love to hear others experience.
