Has anyone with candida that developed liver and then kidney problems been able to
1) successfully eliminate their kidney/liver pain symptoms
2) go on to successfully cure candida?
I have vulvodynia (red yeast infection/permanent burning vulva, leaky gut, permanent athlete's foot (burning) on feet just to mention a few.
In addition after 10 months on the candida diet.(no carb just veggie and meat/fish) my liver and kidneys are really doing badly. At first my gallbladder was constantly in pain. I have done a couple flushes now.
But now my kidneys burn badly.
History about me
first symptoms: age 13
How I got this: had chronic bronchitis as a child and was given multiple doses of antibiotics throughout childhood and teenage years
Symptoms: dizziness after eating, migraines after eating sugar, chronic fatigue, constipation, althletes foot, chronic yeast infections, heartburn, vulvodynia(burning vulva syndrome, leaky gut
When I first started this candida journey I was stupid and eager to be rid of the pain. THe pain was mind boggling. I could not sit, walk, think or work.
I took extremely high doses of diflucan and terbinafine. Then I contracted zika virus and ever since then my gallbladder ached. THen my kidneys started aching a couple months after that.
I cannot eat carbs. Even whole grains. The slightest bit makes me incredibly dizzy.
So I eat only lettuce, cucumber, celery, olive oil, avocado and fish. Sometimes broccoli if I can find it without mold.
I did my 14th Liver Flush last week and it was by far my most successful- hundreds of stones in different colors and even some parasites. However, since then I've had some new problems. I still feel generally awful after eating (fatigue, brain fog, muscle weakness, joint pain, fluish) but i just feel overall worse now. Also, i have foamy urine almost every day and when i do coffee enemas i have tons of gas which was never there before. Also, im passing mucus during the enemas. The only other new thing is that i feel noticably worse after eating protein now than i used to, especially at night.
My first thought was kidneys but im not sure. Could it just be a new stage in my liver being clogged and all these symptoms relate to liver? The only time i screwed up in my diet (low FODMAP) was when i had a couple handfuls of macadamia nuts and felt awful afterward.
Liver? Kidneys? Im going to continue flushing but any advice on what else to do? Thanks a lot
The chemical analysis of the latest kidney stone that came out few months ago indicates the presence of calcium, oxalate and carbonate. Because of the carbonate is likely it is an alkaline kidney stone.
Right nowI have a kidney stone passing that seems too large to come out. I guess it is also akaline and I would like to make my urine acid to induce an acid-alkaline reaction that, I hope, will dissolve the stone.
There are aliments or suplements that have one PH outside of the body, but after ingested they turn to the oposite. For example, lemons that are acid turns alkaline in the body. Milk that is alkaline turns to acid in the body.
The question is: How to make my urine acid?
Acid ascorbic or acid malic may be options?
Can Chlorella and Spirulina Cause Stone formation?
I've been reading that high chlorophyll foods contain Oxcylic acid which can cause kidney stones and wondered if the same thing is true about Chlorella and Spirulina.
I've been in bed almost two weeks and I think I passed a stone three days ago only to have another one get stuck yesterday. I've been on the lemon juice, cayenne and maple syrup diet for a few days and really haven't eaten much at all in the last two weeks.
I also read an article about PH and used a swimming pool test kit to test my saliva and the day I passed the stone it was 6.9 but now it's down to 6.4. probably because I haven't been able to tolerate as much lemon juice. I've been drinking lots of water and taking Gravel root, hydrangea and Marshmallow root tea and am considering putting some in my lemonade mixture so I get small does more often. I've also been taking Celery seed tea. I went to every grocery store in town and Watermelon is out of season but I have found that laying in hot water seems to greatly relieve the pain.
If anyone has any tips on helping me pass these stones it would be greatly appreciated. But what I really need to find out is if the chlorella is causing my stones to form and what I can do about it. I don't want to stop eating greens. I got a hunch if I can get my PH up that I wont need to worry about the stones forming and will be able keep taking Chlorella and Spirulina.
I have used cleavers and magnesium+b6 to remove stones in patients. As well as combo you used with stone root and cornsilk also.
Chlorella and spirulina will not cause stones as they contain Mn which helps to reduce stone formation.
Saliva ph is ok in that range. Save stone and take to lab determine if oxalate or phosphate origin and balance body chemistry accordingly.Oxalic acid is a problem in cooked sources binding with Ca to form oxalate stones if MN=B6 are lacking in diet.Stones are always a lack of calcium in diet but which type of calcium?Have stone analysis.
Hot apple cider vinegar baths help.
Yesterday I felt a big crack all along the outside of my right kidney while trying to stretch out my back. The kidney on that side now feels much softer and has no pain so I tried to crack the other side all day and just before bed felt a much smaller pop in the top half of my left kidney. It's been real sore since then but I haven't had any attacks so I think it helped.
The first time I thought maybe I was confused and that it was actually my back cracking but I am 100% sure it was not my back this time and that the crack came from the kidney area. Could my kidneys have actually been one solid mass of stone before all this started?
On my first few days of the fast all of my joints loosened up including my back and it felt like I had some sort of muscle spasm preventing my spine from bending in that area but now I'm beginning to think that my kidneys had hardened to the point that I couldn't' bend my back.
Is this probable or is it more likely I am imagining things? I've been peeing out some nasty stuff for the past week. It looks like my urine is very salty. It's thick and runs right to the bottom of the toilet. I consumed well over two gallons of liquid yesterday so I know it's not because I'm not getting enough water.
Kidneys could have had a lot of calculi but if they were one solid mass in both you would have been in a pickle.
Viscous urine indicates a loss of electrolytes mainly potassium, but also sodium ,calcium ,magnesium, phosphate. Not just the calculi sediment.
Too long a fast will deplete be cautious.Kidney inflamation could cause you to feel you could not bend over but soft tissue won't harden.Unless you are Lot's wife.
Remember distiiled water is best also mix with veggie or fruit juices. Short fasts with emphasis on keeping lots of electrolytes in the body even during fasts. Also divide weight by 2 and drink that many oz/day.eg 200lbs/2=100 oz =12 (8oz glasses)over 256oz means you have to weigh over?Drinking 4 oz every half hour through out the day is better than large quanities.
Hmm. I guess I'll never know for sure if it is spasms or if my kidneys were actually stiff from minerals. Perhaps a little of both. I did have a large lump on my back about the size of a golf ball from a muscle tear that didn't heal properly for many years and now it is the size of an almond so maybe I am pissing away those lumps as well.
I did notice that my urine was also quite viscous for the past three or four months that I been taking the chlorella so maybe the fast is merely expediting what the Chlorella and Spirulina have already started.
I've had a lot of energy during the fast but I have been feeling tired the last couple days so I have been beginning to break the fast and had a nice soup last night that was simmered in vegetables, parsley and dandelion root with Sea Salt . I threw away most of the veggies but ate about a tablespoon of them. I think I'll make something similar and this time eat all or most of the solids today.
Good to hear your golf ball is an almond in time it will be no more.
When people go on fasts I always test one component of ureas from urine to indicate when to stop.Over doing a fast robs the body of nutrients past that point. So I say short juice fasts for 2-3 days are the best for all; using the juices that are most apprioiate for you health condition.Asparagus tea is great for kidney function and cleansing as well as parsley, oatstraw.
Renal colic can cause those symtoms you mentioned.
Renal colic... Thanks...I'm going to research that as soon as I finish this post.
While I was making my lemon juice for my fast I got a craving to eat the pulp. It felt good and instead of making lemonade I just drank the juice down. I felt warm but didn't burn so I did a total of five lemons and that seems to have hit the spot. I don't know why I am craving this much citrus but I'm going to go with it. Though I haven't had cravings for solid food yet I'm going to break my fast the next time I get hungry. My focus on my diet will be to monitor my PH and see how it relates to the way I feel. I never paid attention to PH and only started testing a few days ago but I got a hunch that it is the missing link that I have been looking for and need to pay attention to in order to stay healthy.
As far as I know this is the best link about PH on the planet but if anyone has any more I would like to see them. http://www.essense-of-life.com/info/foodchart.htm
I would also like to find some websites on cooking and preparing these foods on a diet that's easy to stay on as well as prepare and afford.
Read the info on that site and some is ok but most is not.
Without getting into biochemistry details at this time any one who has alkaline salive ph at 7.4 has weak digestive enzymes.
The optimal ph for both saliva and urine is between 6.5-6.8.
Calcium, Potassium and Chlorine raise PH. Will post more on the subject later gotta go!
Yeah it seems like you've opened a whole can of worms. Are you saying that if I eat lots of alkaline foods that my PH wont go up that high on a good diet? Or that anyone who eats that much brown rice, fruits and veggies isn't healthy?
On a side note eating all those lemons seems to have helped. They gave me a very healthy bowel movement and I felt great afterwards. I can't remember if I said but I also drank 2/3rds cup of Celery Seed Tea made with 16 oz. water and one Tablespoon Celery seed. That seems to help the best for pain and to increase flow. I'm still passing stone but it's been relatively painless. I must have needed all those lemons. I'm still passing thick urine that seems to have a pearl glow to it. From the amount I've passed I'd say there must be a lot of it. I know they say that the older you get the more mineralized you become so it's possible that I have pounds and pounds and pounds of this stuff.
I think I will go back and slowly resume taking Spirulina and chlorella tomorrow and introduce grains back into my diet. I don't think I want to go back to meat. I was a vegetarian for 12 years and never realized how much I missed it until this fast.
Now that I'm coming off my fast I decided to try something new. I mixed a teaspoon of chlorella with a couple lemons. I don't know why I never thought of that before but it tastes surprisingly great. They put Lemons on Salad don't they?
No to both your questions. What I am saying is that even the best alkaline diet will not bring ph to proper range if the person is creating too many acids by their thinking, lack of exercise etc.
Remember acids and alkalis have to be balanced too much of one or the other is detrimental.Digestion is a reaction of the hcl in your stomach with the food that enters so without that acid we would have problems. Lemon is one of the best foods for most not all; as it helps digestive processes and aids the liver in picking up calcium. Most strict vegies are lacking in calcium and B12 Also many in protein. Yes I do believe in the vegetarian way of life but it has to be stress free to conserve protein and mineral useage and much more.I do stress it has to be more than just diet it has to be the way a person lives life.
Most people don't eat a large enough variety of foods even from the food groups they use, they eat one kind of apple ,one grain, two or three veggies. We all need a big variety use all the grains, rye, oats, rice, quinoa, spelt, millet, buckwheat, etc. Try to eat30-40 different varieties of veggies, a neighbour of mine eats only 2; peas and corn every day for the past 15yrs he is missing out on the nutrients that come from a wide variety. Is the same amount of potassium in millet as in an apple?
Hi! I never saw any more information on ph. I currently take the Masters Miracle products to help stablize my ph. I have passed 4 kidney stones from 1996-2000 and after dramatically altering my diet and liquids intake, I have been stone free thus far.
In the past two years, I have experienced weakness, fatigue, muscle aches, etc. All blood tests for a variety of diseases came back normal. Thus, I found Curezone. The Miracle neutralizer products have helped a lot, but after taking one ounce per day of the neutralizer, my ph is still hovering around 6.2 average for the week. I test both my urine and silvia daily and in a given week, I test as high for my urine as 6.8, low 6.0 and as high for my silvia as 6.6, low 6.0.
Do you recommend I try to take in additional neutralizer or is there a better to get my ph to average between 6.5 and 6.8?
Sorry will get more ready on ph The better half has been keeping me busy.
For your case 6.2 is a little too low for an average all alkaline foods and the product you take help to raise ph's but remember calcium is the major mineral to neutralize acids in our bodies and calcium intake is the major concern today. There are many types of calciums on the market; which to use? coral, citrate, malate, gluconate, lactate, carbonate, phosphate, mchc etc.
In your case if your kidney stones were oxalate use citrate/malate and the dietary sources to provide the rest of the calciums.
Will look at the products you mentioned and get back to you.
Hi. I hate that it is MLM as well, but the products have really helped me overall. They also sell the same products under a different brand name, called Miracle 2, that is NOT MLM for those who are turned off by that.
The ingredients on the neutralizer bottle say:
electrically engineered eloptic energized stabilized oxygenated water, calcium, potassium, magnesium, ash of dedecyl solution. It is supposed to maintain a benchmark ph value of 8.3. It also says "our ingredients are approved and certified by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), meaning the're of the highest grade available".
Hi: Read the ingredients in the product any stabilized oxygen product on the market has a ph above 8 the rest of the solution is a source of some electrolytes.
let's go on to ph and i will try to explain in common terms so all can relate.
Electrolytes are elements or compounds that when dissolved break into ions ( atoms capable of carrying an electrical charge).
So for the point of ph discussion we have to think of electricity and its ablity to carry these positive or negative mineral ions for body function.
Ph or potential hydrogen is a scale measurement to determine a solutions potential to pick up hydrogen ions. The scale is 0-14 0 being acid such as pure sulphuric acid and 14 being base such as calcium. Or acid- alkaline as most refer in the health field.
Ph and electricity the human body works on electrical currents just as any household appliance. The plug on your toaster is insulated so you don't get a shock; Think of this as calcium 14 on the ph scale it doesn't conduct electricity very well and protects you. Now think of an electrical storm you don't stand in water outside why it is a good conductor of electricity. This is 0 ph sulphuric acid.
So ph balance in the body is a balance of positive and negative ions.To balance body ph there may be a lack or excess of ions.
Kidneys are the major organs controlling ph but the thyroid, adrenals, lungs and lymphatic system also have an effect so we have to focus on all these and make sure they are provided the nutrients for repair and function daily.
When your average saliva and urine ph is 6.2 like yours Raymond there is too little resistance to electrical flow therefore not enough mineral elements assimilated due to increased speed of digestion caused by the higher current flow. The opposite can also be true if the ph's were 7.3 the digestion would be to slow and digestive enzymes too weak and the body would not be able to extract certain minerals of higher gravity or molecular weight.
We could go on but lets look at how to change ph: Calcium and potassium ion+ are the major minerals to shift ph up but Cal phos, cal lactate and cal sulphate move it down. Ca gluconate, carbonate, hydroxide, tri cal, bonemeal move up. But the body requires calcium from all these sources to function properly and it is the bodies storage capabilites that dictates ph balance.
That is why the 80% alkaline-20% acid diet has been suggested for years.Potassium also is anionic ion+ to help balance ph but as you know all other minerals are also required for health even the cationic ion-.
So we have to make sure all the nutrients to feed the above mentioned organs and systems are provided as well as fresh air and exercise for the lungs and lymph and a focus on providing more anionic foods and supplements in the diet. Also a positive attitude ;as this can produce more acids that have to be buffered.
Eg: People who overwork the thyroid make more acids and if they don't have the buffers stored it weakens causing malfunction.
A simple way to explain chemical reactions is to put a little vinegar in a glass add 1/4 tsp baking soda and watch what happens this is the same as your food reaching the hydrochloric acid in your stomach. There is an energy release between the food and the acid. This is part of digestion and the freeing of ions for the bodies use.
Hope you understand this brief explanation.
All That lemon juice worked!
Way cool to see all your responses doc. I'm responding to your first one but I mainly came back online to let everybody know that I am way over 100 percent better... probably 150%.
I think I passed a hell of a lot of kidney stones and even now I've taken to squeezing lemons in everything and when I'm not at home I some how manage to drink about a quart of real-lemon a day. I have always liked lemons and used to get in trouble for drinking all the real-lemon all the time when I was a kid. After the fast I now have a much better diet. I quit drinking coffee... sort of... I have a one oz cup and swish in my mouth for the taste and aroma black for the taste and usually drink less than half before it gets cold and I have to dump it out. I started running to help shake out the stones. I'm 46 and I feel like I could beat my best time of 5:33 for running a mile in high school. I been eating mostly rice and vegetables at home and dried peas and fruits on the run. Sometimes I take a half dozen raw eggs for a boost and cayenne is still my favorite spice.
I agree the mental part is important but most people from the posts I see on this forum have got that down pretty good already or they wouldn't even be here. I just read the rest of the posts and they look like they were maybe pasted from another thread and I agree... THOUGH ALKALINE IS GOOD IT'S MORE THAN A SIMPLE MATTER OF BALANCING PH and no stupid 8.3 water or whatever sounds like it's even good for you in my opinion.
ISN'T IT THE ASH that remains after your body burns it and not the ph of whatever you are drinking anyway that's important? Otherwise the PH of the Lemon juice would be very acid and bad for you I think so I wouldn't worry about ph of water too much or go nuts on alkaline water.
I lost a lot of weight. Mainly from my stomach. Since the fast I now crave lemon juice the way I craved oils and fat before the fast. I been baking pop corn in the oven and misting it with water to get natural salt and spirulina to stick to it.
I continue to take my chlorella and have been throwing around beams at work by hand that I would normally use a tractor on.
I ordered a 5 pound bag of spirulina flakes from a place that sells them for fish food for 45 dollars plus shipping. I think you can use google to find the link if interested. I found some spirulina flakes in a health food store and couldn't find them online in bulk for humans... I am tired of the powdered spirulina and look forward to my five pound bag of flakes. The health food store only had a few ounces and they were so good I could eat them plain. I will continue to use the chlorella in powder and take it in lemon juice as more of a supplement. I consider spirulina to be more of a food.
I will probably be reading and posting on some of the spiritual and meditation forums here still but I don't think you will be seeing me on the kidney stone forum anymore... take care to all that read this
