I've been going in circles on ICU protocol for 7 months with a systemic and multiple infection of flukes, tapeworms, and maybe more.
I'm trying to switch to Mattk3's Ascaris123 protocol. Details here. It's a bear to read... I suggest reading pages 100-150, then backtracking. Took me a few reads to get the idea of things. If you scan Mattk3's more recent forum posts, you will find updated information. For instance, Levimasole turns out to be a useful adjunct.
He reports people being successful against systemic flukes by cleaning up yeast alkanalizing the body, etc, then a protocol of ALB and PRZ taken with Calcium (yogurt) and Vit D3. I believe piperazine and DEC are also helpful. And the idea is slightly lower doses of PRZ can be taken if the calcium/D3 are taken too. Pyrantel and Ivermectin are useful at times and can be used to give you a better idea of what you have (flukes, worms, etc).
The main difference between ICU and the Ascaris123 (Mattk3) protocol is in ICU's you do 2 weeks on meds with a 1 week break before repeating a course of meds. In the Ascaris123, you first prep your body, then dose the ALB/PRZ continuously at slightly lower doses and take supplements/diets to assist.
There was a recent report of someone using Triclabendazole for 5 days and repeating every few weeks. They feel like 8 rounds have pretty much eradicated the flukes Details here.
If it were me, I would try the Ivermectin/Pyrantel test described in Ascaris123 to make sure all you have is flukes. If it's a simple and relatively new infection, try for the triclabendazole only (it's hard to obtain). Otherwise, try the Ascaris123 (Mattk3) approach. He claims that people are reporting success (eradicating flukes) with like 60 days of continuous treatment of ALB/PRZ/D3/Calcium. I'll note that I had no success with anything until I first did some cleansing diet and got candida/gut fungus under control; in short, that means you need to get your bowels moving regularly first.
Be prepared to repeat whatever treatment you do until there's no sign of flukes for several months, and perhaps do a maintenance program after that. Be prepared to be working on this for a while. I did 8 rounds of ICU-like protocols over 6 months and went in circles. When I started, I thought it would just be a couple of rounds.
You'll need to pay attention to what works for you. By accident, I discovered that taking the 3 doses of PRZ on a 2 hour interval instead of a 6 hour interval, worked better for me. It took me a while to figure out that pain around my liver was not ALB toxicity, but rather parasites. Figured that out when the pain developed a few weeks after I stopped taking meds.
Also, be mindful of doing something that will merely irritate the flukes and drive them deeper into your system/organs. For instance, I tried a low dose of PRZ/ALB on a 3pm9pm3am9am schedule as described by Mattk3, but without the necessary D3 and calcium to make the PRZ more effective... and I could feel the flukes going deeper into my liver. Anything (herbs/drugs) that does not work systemically could do this. I took fluconazole by itself before I understood what was going on, and it drove something into my chest.
It would be worth searching Curezone for flukes to get an idea of what has been working for people.
This website has some useful information, but at 12-18 months, their protocol seems less efficient than Ascaris123.
Congratulations! You might be interested in this other thread...someone claims success with 9 rounds of Triclabendazole (5 days every few weeks)...
I'm in Thailand and wanting to try the Ascaris123 (Mattk3) protocol for disseminated/systemic fluke/pork tapeworm/possibly hookworm. Identifying symptoms in stool include "white rice", "tomato skins", sticky balls of eggs, "sesame seeds", assorted beige flakes. Various symptoms have included constipation, mental fog, feeling hungover (without having alcohol), jaw tingling, blurred vision, anxiety, teeth grinding, pressure in head, a "brain tweak", cramps in my calves, fatigue, etc.
I've been doing ICU-like regimens of albendazole/praziquantel for 6 months with no net gain. I got rid of symptoms in my head (tingling along the jaw and occasional pressures inside), and pressure in my chest until last week when I did a couple of days of low dose 3939. During much of the time, I've battled back and forth with pain in my liver area that seems to get worse when I back off on meds (i.e., I don't believe it is med toxicity). In general, it seems to get worse if I am on a break from the meds.
So far the most effective thing has been Prazi at 75 mg/kg/D in three doses 2 hours apart plus 800 mg of ALB in two doses. That seemed to get rid of pain around my liver. I did 14 days of ALB 800 mg/D /PRZ 1800mg/D /IVM 12mg/D and that didn't seem to do anything better and didn't help with the pain in the liver area. Pulsing IVM 2 days on and 2 days off did seem to knock a few things off (fluke and pork tapeworm bits in my stool). But after reading Ascaris123, I wasn't sure it was good to do IVM that often simultaneously with the ALB/PRZ.
I'm nearing 21 days of continuous treatment of ALB/PRZ, although I've varied the dosages... started out on higher less frequent doses, tried low dose 3939 for a day or two, but that's when the jaw/head/chest symptoms came on after being free of them for monts. The last few days I've been doing ALB/PRAZ at 200mg/1200mg doses 4 times per day (total of 800mg/D and 4800 mg/D; I weigh 65 kg) and all my symptoms continue, making me think I'm driving things deeper. My jaw has been tingling all week... and it mostly hadn't in 7 months. Liver area pain is relatively constant but mild. Last night it felt like something was pinching me under my ribcage on the left side. Some pressures/sensations at times in the frontal lobe. And often a feeling of pressure in my chest. I'm doing baking soda enemas, avoiding processed foods, mostly vegetarian, emphasizing alkalinizing foods.
DEC and piperazine do not seem to be available in Thailand (although I haven't checked veterinary sources). Vitamin D3 is $15 for 60 tabs of 1000 IU and I can't find anything bigger than the 1000IU. Levimasole is not available here.
I can get doxycline or mebendazole here, but afraid to mess up my gut flora with the doxy, and not sure whether mebedendazole would gain anything for flukes. I've read that flucanozole increases effectiveness of the anti-wormers, but afraid to try it because, by itself, it seemed to drive worms deeper inside me.
It will take at least a month to get such things or re-locate to India or the US where I can get them.
I don't dare slack off on the meds since last time I went over a week without meds, my the pain in my liver area got worse than ever and it took me 6 weeks to get rid of; the pain came back a month later, although only mildly.
How can I modify the Ascarias123 treatment protocol to either not lose ground, or to maybe heal without the extras? Is it worth doing a small dosage (2-6k IU) of D3 per day? Or maybe pulse the D3, doing say, 20,000IU one day per week?
Can I make use of the IVM?
(I am confused about using IVM... there is a Simon Yu protocol with IVM plus PRZ 3x/day for 21 days that ICU posted; Ascaris123 says IVM will prevent uptake of PRZ/ALB by the parasites, but suggests pulsing it, but I can't find the pulsing details). I'd thought about pulsing IVM 2 days off and 2 days on during the PRZ/ALB regimen but seems like that lays to waste a lot of ALB/PRZ if the IVM prevents them from eating ALB/PRZ.
Can I do long-term high dose PRZ (75mg/kg/D) plus ALB (800mg/D) until I get some D3 etc?
Hi I don’t know how to post on curezone, this is my first post.
I’ll go right into my symptoms
Tired all the time, stomach issues, brain fog, crawling sensations in back and neck mostly(worms?).
I feel like I forgot who I am and that I’m not in my right mind. I feel like I can’t help myself because I can’t think right, I feel like I’m not me and like I have a mental problem please reply.
