So I found out that I have blastocystis homminis and entamoeba histolytica as well as Candida and possibly SIBO. fun huh?
My doctor feels the blasto is not significant but he wants me to take medication for the entamoeba.
>both are protozoa species, depending on the subtype, blasto can be damaging. Read badbugs.org for info.
He recommends Paromomycin and Tindamax. Paromomycin is broad specturm so i am concerned that it may kill off whatever good bacteria is left.
>You may consider using Alinia with Paro if the above remedy does not work. Protozoa are hardy creatures so you may need longer treatment times than the doctor suggests, although this is a good sign that the doctor is willing to help and not label you as a nut case :).
In the past antibiotics got me into big trouble so i need to be very careful. do you have any recommendations on how i can protect my gut from the broad spectrum activity of this drug?
>if you have SIBO you have too much bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine. In usual cases, they treat SIBO with antibiotics. Some feel that a lack of digestive enzymes causes the SIBO, another possibility is a lack of bile. Bile acts as an antimicrobial.
Would prebiotics be helpful? what about probiotics and which strains?
>Kefir is a good one to take, probably the best in my experience. Colostrum is a super food that does the body good, it also conditions the intestinal tract with healthy things. Turmeric is considered to help the intestinal environment as well. Besides that, it (turmeric) has a host of other benefits including protecting the cardiovascular, killing cancer cells, antiinflammatory etc.
i also want to take a biofilm enzyme while on the meds and maybe even a week or 2 before i start. any recommendations would be very much appreciated,
>I never had any help with the enzymes (not that they will hurt, they might help with SIBO) IMO they overrate their ability to kill biofilm, lactoferrin is a much better choice but should be used with caution which means it is a powerful worker and breaking up the biofilm can stress the body.
If you have a significant biofilm environment then you will have a hard time removing pathogens (assuming they are locked in this web).
Please report back to the community of your experiences so others may benefit.
That's lot of questions. I suggest you buy a used textbook on parasitology online. It will answer questions about people. You may also want to buy one on parasites in animals. Vets are better trained in parasites than doctors. Don't waste any time or money on any human doctor unless they are true specialists.
DE will kill some types of worms and flukes. It will help kill eggs in humans. It will probably not do anything for larger parasites like tapeworms. It will do nothing for protozoan infections.
I started on DE, then went to an herbal formula and moved to pharmaceuticals.I also found that getting rid of parasites was like peeling an onion. You get rid of one layer or type and find another.
Other helpful sources are Debugyourhealth.com.; Dr. Andreas Kalcker, Dr. Simon Yu, Patrick Ramblings blog, the book Healing the Symptoms Known as Autism (yes, parasites and autism are connected) and the success stories on CZ. Mattk3 has a great treatise on parasites in the CZ files. It's called Ascaris 123.
Ultimately, you have to become your own healer and be self taught. Every one is different in their bio chemistry and in their infestation.
Getting rid of parasites is a project that may take you years and you will learn that due to constant exposure to them, you have to de-bug yourself on a regular basis for the rest of your life. Get used to digging in your stool. It is one of the only ways to identify your parasites and know if you are killing them. Elimination of symptoms is another way but parasite symptoms can be attributed to many diseases.
I recommend that you eliminate animals from your life if you want to be healthy. Zoonotic infections are very common.
This is interesting. I have come to the conclusion that I might have Sjorgen's syndrome because I do have a dry mouth and have a lot of problems wearing contact lenses. I also have hashimoto's thyroiditis and Reynaud's phenomenon, which are all associated with Sjorgen's syndrome. However, if I don't have Sjorgen's then I think I have dry mouth caused by anxiety.
I looked up some research articles on Sjorgen's and apparently a lot of people diagnosed with this disorder develop Exfoliative Chelitis see "Oral mucosal manifestations in primary and secondary Sjorgen's Syndrome and dry Mouth Syndrome". I'm not sure why the research articles on Exfoliative Chelitis don't mention this more. The research articles on EC I have come across are generally obsessed with the factitious damage hypothesis but not everyone with EC picks or licks their lips. And it seems that many people with EC who used to pick and licked their lips ceased doing so a long time ago and yet they still have EC. So that can't be the only causative factor.
Anyway, what the research on EC and Sjorgen's syndrome proves is that there is association between EC and dry mouth.
This could be connected with the recessed lower jaw Orthodontics thing I mentioned in another post. Why? Because if your "lip seal" isn't good then more air gets in contact with your mucosa at the opening of your mouth.
I wonder if the saliva stimulant medication prescribed for Sjorgen's will help EC? Has anyoe tried this?
Thanks a lot for your message and pictures. I think my condition is more severe than yours so, unfortunately, I am not seeing these fast results. However, I do think gloves in a bottle is the best moisturiser I have tried so far since my EC became really severe because all other moisturisers just cause my dry lip buildup to fall off and my lip to become more raw. Gloves in a bottle seems to form a barrier over the build up so it doesn't fall off too soon but it also seems to be doing a good job at hydrating. So thanks for the recommendation. I'll stick with it and keep you updated.
Do you have this problem where you buildup starts on your inner lips and the skin there seems to sort of form a pocket of air (almost like a blister) that you can feel and squash with your fingers (hard to explain) ? I am trying out an artificial saliva product on my inner lips because I am convinced the problem is to do with my mouth being too dry on the inner border of my mouth (maybe I have dry mouth syndrome).
Also, sorry to hear you are feeling bad Franco.
If you don't have Aquaphor in your country, try Vaseline. It's almost as good. The key, though, is consistency. You have to apply it a lot (more than once an hour, basically every time it rubs off your lips).
That's what I was talking about. Sometimes I have to click hot and slim twice to get the color off and come out white like the way it was before the change. When it comes out white it does not give part of the post which saves me space on the screen. I like to look at it at a glance and click on what I haven't read. When part of the message is there it takes longer for me because the screen is too full of messages that I may or may not want to read.
It's a brilliant analogy to note the similarity between the collector's behaviour in modifying human emotional output, and that of a parasitic biological lifeform, but the perspective is purely human, and therefore distorted a bit. We experience being separate from our environment to serve a higher purpose, when our consciousness is compressed at birth, we temporarily lose access to our purpose for being here and our true essence. This compression results in a new format of expression which is not capable of communicating with its source(like a zip file, or trying to play an mp3 file through a wave format). Then the survival imprint is written into the consciousness in the new compressed language, this causes identification with the new language/territory/body, and when viewing the way things really are from this new body/mind, we do so with this new, fear driven 'survive at all costs' mentality which distorts the true perspective from a self induced learning curve, to victim of vulnerability and dangerous outside influence. This is why when we get an inkling of the truth, we then assume something or someone must be taking from us, and we must fight back. Please see that the tools you are using to evaluate reality are already carved for conflict, and the imagined enemy you are aiming at is really your higher self. Note that the creator/s pulled forth a piece of himself/themselves and inserted it into human DNA in order to generate constant longing to reunite with with the infinite whole, so the creator/s are putting a piece of themselves through all this suffering, you are not really an individual at all, so there can only be an illusory enemy. The most refined loosh is generated through real love, so if we were being used by some external force, then they would be working is into a constant state of love as this would give them the best yield. This is what is meant by living in an illusion, the illusion is that you're an individual. Bob would tell me to stop ruining the ending at this point, and let them find their own answers, so I'll stop there...
Hope this helps.
I'm so glad I found your post...I've been having foot pain and thinking it may be from the Stevia now. I use Stevia in water with lemon, as well as in my Tea. But lately, the taste hasn't been the same...seems to be bitter. Maybe its my body telling me something. My feet have started bothering me for about 4 months now. Started out in the joint under my big toe, so I thought I was getting a bunion. Now it hurts on the top of my left toe and both of my feet hurt most times when walking...especially in the morning, or wearing sandals etc. I've also been drinking lots of Kevita, which is sweetened with Stevia. I'm going to completely eliminate Stevia and hopefully this will go away. Will post and update soon.
Evening of day one I strugled with a headache. Eventually with head massages I felt better. Day two was okay, still have back pain from my injury. But I felt more limber. Possibly from rolling around all night or maybe the fasting helped.
Most of the day I drank herbal tea. Might drink some miso later tonight.
Hi guys, thank you all so much for taking your time to reply. Well no I haven't been tested for tmau, I live in the dominican republic and Idk maybe doctors here don't even know abou it(? This last week I changed my deodorant again lady speed stick with aloe and the I applied cornstarch with baking soda and applied acv before my shower. It kinda worked like the two first days but then my smell appeared again. So I decided to go to the vitamin shop and take my savings again to buy zinc (nature's bounty brand) vitamin b2 50 mg solgar. Since saturday I'm taking 3 vitamin b2 pills a day, then 1 pill of zinc, overdosed with kal acidophilus probiotic (4 pills) and sunny green chlorophyll but I still smell terrible. I haven't been eating a lot to see if that could make a difference but no. Changing my diet is going to be hard because I'm pobre lol and that low choline sounds like a nightmare because I eat lots of beans, chicken, eggs etc. I'm really tired I do't wanna go back to school bc people hate me even the guy that used to like me looks at me with disgust, I remember a couple of months ago someone drop me a paper at class Idk who it was and told me "you're kinda cute and you're smart but your disgusting odor fcks it all up" you know the "pretty girls" of the classes bully me and talk a lot behind my back even my "friends" drop me hints like I don't even freaking know that I smell they don't know what I do everyday I only shower twice a day because college It's sorta far from my house, but I remember before when I was 10/11 I could spend the whole day without showering and had no smell (There were times without water here so...) I remember when I was 12 I didn't have any kind of odor except that when I peed my urine smelled like onion/garbage. I also got constipation problems since I was a child, I only went to the bathroom from 2 or 3 days a week and I thought it was normal.Idk I'm thinking I have tmau :( My armpit odor is like sour/onions/acid and my groin area odor is like dead animal/rotten/garbagefishy sometimes. I'm thinking about going to an endocrinologist I have never been to one but I remember they referred me to one but I couldn't go because when I turned 18 my insurance got inactivated. I don't have lots of money but I have 200 usd saved, that may not be a fortune but it's useful, an average doctor charges about 60 dollars here so I could probably go to 3 or 2 times. I sometimes don't feel like going to the endo because what if he doesn't help? What if he doesn't care and just want to take the money like it usually to us suffering from this condition? I'm really tired, I don't know how to defend myself I sometimes want to stand in front of everyone and open up about my problem but it's hard I'm shy person and they probably wouldn't care about my problem and mock me. I pray a lot but I feel like my faith isn't strong enough like I pray to God to heal me but when I go out I still think I'm going to smell, this life is hard. I have skipped a lot of things because of this, I don't feel like I have developed myself and have enjoyed my life, I have lost a lot of opportunities *sigh*I'm sorry if I talk too much but this is a place where I feel someone actually understands what I'm going through, you know I can't even speak with my parents or siblings because they always say like "you should shower more" or "use this deodorant". I'm gonna see and try the colon cleanse this weekend since I don't have classes, and If I don't see improvement I'm gonna go to the endo this monday. I'm gonna keep you updated guys, wish me succes please, I'm praying for every single one of us.
All good, but you will benefit most from doing water only fast. Especially if you have insulin problem. If you have insulin problem don't eat potatos or desserts. Desserts can be Keto desserts made with coconut, coconut oil and cacao powder.
If you get hold of Dr. Neal Bernard's book, it will be a good read for you.
Re-feeding protocol of starting with fruits is only for long water only fasts. If you do short fasts no need to worry. If you don't like fruits that is great, less sugar in your body.
From what you describe, how well you are doing. You can fast one day a week.
