Thx for the clarification Srinath. Yes, it makes metabolic sense, and it's basically the same idea behind the last fatty meal that should precede every fast. It puts the body in fat-burning mode, so that during the fast itself, the body is looking to its fat stores for energy instead of carbs, which would put organ and muscle tissue in 'the firing line'.

Sorry...one more question. In your nystatin enemas how much do you use. I use half a spoon of the powder but was wondering whether I could get away with only a quarter spoon and still get good results.

I too have been sick with parasites for years, more than four years in my case and about six months ago I was at my wits end and completely miserable.
But after I found this forum and started educating myself and started taking RX Im finally getting better. I still have a long way to o but at least Im feeling better.
Like you, no one believed/believes me, including my family. That's a terribly lonely thing to have happen to you and I completely understand and can sympathize with that part. But at least know youre not alone. According to the CDC, hundreds of thousands of people suffer from parasite infestations that go undiagnosed and they dont even know what is causin teir health issues. I believe in the years to come medical researchers will discover many illnesses can be linked to parasites. There are studies that already have found some types of cancer are linked to parasites. (I fear that actually)
But, on the bright side, you aren't alone here and those of us who have suffered understand all too well the reality of what you are going thru. So, at least you can find some support and compassion here. I gave up talking to my family and anyone else because I decided that unless you've lived through something like this its hard to understand. Plus, its bad enough to be sick without feeling judged all the time. So, I worry about me and that's it as far as this problem is concerned.
No problem in combining the Keto diet with occasional liver flushing.
What is important is that on the day of the liver flush, you avoid consuming any fat foods. That is all.
What you do the other 13 days between flushes, it is up to you, consuming diet composed mainly of healthy protein and healthy fats will only benefit your liver.
If the keto diet is not good for you, your body will tell you. Not all diets fit all people.
An important part of Keto diet is bone broth with bone marrow, usually cooked 24 hours ( bones cut into pieces to allow for bone marrow to melt and dissolve into the soup + water + sea salt + juice from one lemon or equal amount of apple cider vinegar ).
Acid from juice help dissolve natural minerals in bones, making the broth stronger.
Recently I sprained my left leg while running. I'm asked to take rest for a week. It's been 5 days after the incident and I find it difficult to walk properly. I hope this will be fine after a week. But one of my friends said it would be better to undergo Swedish massage therapy to improve the functionality. Has anyone here undergone Swedish massage therapy ( http://www.physiomobility.com/swedish-massage.html ) after a sprain? Is it beneficial? If so, I need to schedule an appointment with a therapist in Toronto for next week. Any thoughts?
