So this is simple. If you fast for a long period on water only then you should not take any supplements at all. It is called partial eating which is more enervating when fasting. Your body uses its reserves to supplement the partial food coming in and benefits of a fast are reduced.
When you are eating regular foods, yes take all herbs for enhancing liver flush. Emotions are definitely playing a role on liver function. Try meditation for co trolling emotins.
You will find a lot cases where people have cured eczema through regular liver flushing. You can read that on Liver Flush Forum .
My skin was a bit mixed. I started out with dry flaky skin when I reached 16. Which could of been thyroid related but there was far more than this. My pituitary gland and hypothalamus was partly destroyed as shown in my iris by a black mark through both. I was not aware of this at the time, not for about 10 years later. It actually occurred when I was 12 when I had a very severe headache, sensitive to light.
I used some Aloe gel on my face which caused scaly scabs to form and the skin became extremely dry and tight. This was really severe and looked and felt terrible and was very uncomfortable. The skin would not heal. I went to TCM herbalist shortly after this which helped improve things. It never got rid of the dryness which did vary depending upon the foods I ate. At the time I was not aware of leaky gut, although I did make a connection with the foods I ate affecting things.
Have you ever checked your stomach acid levels? I read many books on Iridology, GAPS, Increased Intestinal Permeability Syndrome and others. I did a stomach acid test, which did show very low levels. http://livingfoods.co.uk/the-acid-test-by-philip-weeks/
Someone on this forum asked whether HCl fixed hypochlorhydria. I thought about this and noticed that after I took HCl I burped repeatedly whenever I took HCl capsules. The burning which is meant to indicate too much HCl only happened very briefly and then stopped. More HCl resulted in increased burping and took around 12 capsules to reach a burning which quickly diminished after burping. I worked out the cause of this and why people have hypochlorhydria. I started spitting out saliva while I was digesting protein and my stomach acid increased but if I swallowed saliva, I burped and stomach acid diminished. I then came across urease, an enzyme used by some bacteria to produce ammonia which is an alkaline. The ammonia neutralizes stomach acidity. Saliva is a source of Urea which is used by Urease enzyme to produce ammonia to stop stomach acid which is a threat to a biofilm. Stomach acid can damage/degrade a biofilm. Although they do adapt and can get around this.
Be aware that hair loss can be caused by poor protein digestion ie lack of amino acids. Chances are that you have hypochlorhydria and your protein digestion is very poor. Your stomach is almost certainly compromised which leaves it open to infection as the stomach is intelligent and attempts to keep it free of infection by parasites and bacteria. Unfortunately it can fail and be compromised.
Swallowing an acid such as lemon juice or vinegar can test this. Prepare some sodium bicarb in warm water. Then prepare some lemon juice or vinegar in about 100ml of warm water. Wash around the mouth to mix saliva and then swallow it. Then quickly wash the sodium bicarb around the mouth and then spit out. DO NOT swallow the sodium bicarb or it will neutralise the acid, it is only meant to eliminate any acid on your teeth. Swallow some saliva and see if you burp.
These infections have to be urease positive to survive in the stomach. Helicobacter Pylori is urease positive and there are other bacteria too. All of these bacteria cause leaky gut. It is caused by their biofilm which replaces sections of stomach mucosa.
These bacteria also compromise methylation processes because methylation begins in the stomach. Taking some MSM can be helpful as it supplies much needed methyl groups. It can also help reduce inflammation. It's helpful to take it with ascorbic acid (vitamin C).
So it does not work on people who might have drug resistance.
For example, almost all the antihistamine does not work on me.
The remedies I got from doctors now, works slow in the beginning, but after a while, it will show.
Some people needs one month, some people need two months.
Some need a few year to get cleared.
I do not know why. Maybe the enviorenment? Maybe too much oil in bloodstream?
I have no idea now. I some times find that my rectum is very oily when I am not well.
Before I get sick, I always feel hungry.
I heard that lack of water intake will make people fee hungry, but the true reason is thirsty. Some times I feel so full, but I still want to eat. So I have to tell myself, to drink before I eat anything. The girl I am helping now , her mother said she does not like drink water too.
I am here, to practice, and to share, that is all
I have to say, we say odd things, is because we try to find out the truth of illness. I am still in the process of it. And I had help from some doctors, and I am willing to share, though I do still do not know why, and I am still trying.
Oh BTW, while fasting you do not want to take anything for cleaning your colon. I meant after the fast finishes and the you refeed for 1.5 times the period of fasting, then you can take supplements to clean your colon.
As far as BMs go, we are all different and each fast is different. In my case in my early days of fasting I never had any BMs, but now I have BMs within 3-4 days, but all mucus.
You do not need to worry about not having a BM, when your body is ready it will discard all it does not need.
Just drink warm water, rest and stay warm, all you need to do. You are doing fine with your fast.
I know this is an old post but I have both hashimotos and seb derm. I also have horrible stomach issues with depression and anxiety. I'm trying hard to find answers right now because my stomach and energy levels are so bad I'm missing a lot of work and can't make plans. I am about to see a hashimotos specialist that does thorough lab testing and takes a more natural approach so hopefully it helps. My seb derm does best when I only wash it with Dead Sea Salt in water. There's still some redness but the flakes stay away if I keep up my routine of mornings and night.
I've had the same problem since I was a kid, and I've actually found a combo of products to finally do the trick once and for all. I moisturize my face with Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream in the morning and at night, and I use the same brand's Lip Therapy balm throughout the day. I think the balm is as heavy-duty moisturizing as the moisturizer itself, so this has been a life-saver together.
Thank you for that I needed to hear about other ways to keep my eczema from flare-ups around the times when it's hot outside.I use coconut oil on my body because that helps keep it moisturized.I also use peroxide too especially when the blisters arise on my feet on top of my feet.
Maybe for the sake of comparison you should check out Utopia-Silver 's new and improved silver aloe skin gel. Here is how they describe it:
All-Natural soothing Silver Aloe Gel 2 oz or 4 oz made with Colloidal Silver and 15X Organic Aloe Vera Concentrate with Texas Juniper Essential Oil. This new and advanced product provides the germ killing power of Colloidal Silver , the healing properties of Organic Aloe Vera, the antibacterial properties of Texas Juniper Oil and Orange Oil.
I haven't tried it yet, but if it is an improvement over their previous silver aloe gel (and it sounds like it should be) then it should be really good.
yes i have some eczema on my back. lately, my hand have become very dry, with"patches". when i wash my hands in hot hot water, the itching becomes quite intense. only wiping hand on towel stops the itch.
I learned a lot about probiotic, and I am still learning... 1 capsule of probiotic contain the equivalent of probiotic as if you were filling this capsule with fermented food. Which mean that 1 tsp of yogurt would be equivalent to 7 capsules of probiotic. But, when we eat yogurt, we usually take a small bowl of it, which would be the equivalent of a whole bottle of probiotic! Probiotic stay in your guts and what is not use is flush out with your next bowel movement. Also, there is no way to know what is the % of the living probiotic that is in a capsule. Probiotic living micro-organism who need Sugar to fed on and liquid to hydrate and stay alive. Which make me wonder when they are trapped in a capsule for months if they are still alive? That may explain why some people won't see result taking probiotic in capsules. My suggestion is to take fermented food (yogurt, Kefir, Saukraut...) on a regular basis. That way you will be sure the probiotic are alive to do their work in your guts and you will take way more than what you would be taking by taking a capsule at a time.
If your doctor said don't put the steroid cream on your face, I wouldn't because of the strength of the ingredients, (I have an allergic reaction to numerous steroid and other creams due to their ingredients), so I have to be careful what I use on my skin. I am allergic to the preservative and specific chemicals used in creams, so in a way I can understand what you may be going through. I have also heard many people having used the cream for so long, as soon as they stop using it there may be effects to the system. Steroids may cure the problem, but have adverse effects in the long term as well, and don't cure the cause. If you could, I would ask if you have to take this for a specific amount of time, don't go over, and if you have any effects, rashes, or it doesn't work, go back to the Dr.
I don't know your problem, and I am no expert, but I would suggest going to a qualified health shop if the cream doesn't work, for a natural cure, or go back to your doctor. But I presume that you will be using the steroid cream over other areas not your face, don't use it on your face, it could have damaging effects, especially if the Dr has said don't use it.
I just use pure Aloe Vera gel from a plant I have in the conservatory, and now and again pure, organic coconut oil out of a jar, from head to toe. Antibacterial and Moisturising, (but coconut is a dry moisturiser).
What I would ask is, what do you want to use steroid cream on your face for? when they are plenty other creams, or is there a problem?
