Histamine is one of the things i plan to ask my functional medicine doc about on my next appointment and see if she can order a blood test for. I had a plasma amino acid analysis done two years ago that lists ammonia levels as normal and urea levels as yellow range low if that means anything.
also, since i posted this thread ive set up an appointment with an allergist, any ideas on specific things to ask the allergist about would be welcome.
i have some cladosporium mold in my house that i can't get rid of but im not sure that it's related, been considering staying somewhere else for a few weeks to see what comes of it.
what you say about the pump inhibitors interests me, at one time i had really bad chronic constipation and when i started on betaine hcl and digestive enzymes my bowels returned entirely to normal, i mean it could have been just the enzymes but I doubt it since there was no stomach burning from the hcl, so I agree, the stomach is definitely important to health.
anymore when I take the betaine hcl, even small amounts, I get gut burning. I've tried a lot of things to heal the gut tissue but it hasn't changed. It could also be something to do with the way I was ramping up hcl doses right before I got my current run of chronic fatigue, maybe for once my stomach acid is too high
I've had several stool tests done and have had antimicrobials targeted at the specific bacteria found several times but with no good result
Would an Esophigo Gastro Duodenoscopy help? I hear physicians can use them to take biopsies of the stomach tissue, lets, what methods would you recommend using to detect the stomach bacteria?

Sy, in reading Hulda Clark protocol in it's entirety, you will note the pre-flush steps ... colon cleansing, kidney cleansing, parasite cleansing. It's not a "yeah, I did that a while back" thing, it's part of every flush.
Doc Sutter, better known here as knows back in the day told me over and over kill the bastards, do a flush, kill the bastards, do a flush. It worked for me. I passed literal quarts of liver flukes as well as an ungodly amount of other parasites in the year and a half that it took me to clear my liver.

I can relate to your struggles. My stomach problems used to be so bad I had trouble keeping my weight up and I was limited to what foods I could eat. I tried so many things to try to cure myself including elimination diets, parasite cleanses, liver flushes, supplements, etc. I spent so much money on alternative health practitioners and expensive supplements. I remember eliminating gluten, sugar, and dairy from my diet waiting for the awesome health people talked about but that I never happened to me and I thought that maybe I had so many toxins in me that the diet wasn't enough.
It took a while but I finally realized that the more I tried to cure myself the worse I got.
It's hard to explain how I cured myself but I didn't have to eat a special diet or take any supplements. In fact the more food you eliminate from your diet the more sensitive your body gets to it. When I was reintroducing foods like gluten back into my diet it was uncomfortable at first but after a few weeks I was back to normal.
I recommend you read the book "Thou Shalt Not Eat" and "Mind Over Medicine" These books explained why I wasn't getting better even though I was doing what I thought was the right thing.

I think it was me who had lyme disease bacteria show up as negative in standard test, then slightly positive in lyme speciality lab test. But even with that, the speciality lab didn't note me as having lyme disease. It was my infectitious disease doctor who noticed the changes in that test from negative to positive which made him conclude that I have lyme disease. I didn't go back to him for treatment because I wasn't sure if I really had lyme disease and I didn't want to go on antibiotics and IV treatment for years. From what I read, lyme bacteria can come out of hiding from your tissues into bloodstream after you take strong medication like I took before I retested for lyme.
How many days did it take for your lips to completely heal after taking these herbal supplements? Also, did you have any side effects like diarrhea, etc?

Peashie, I'm not sure if you were asking me or not since these posts don't always fall in the right place when the threads are so long like this.
I did have a natural labor. I was absolutely determined to do that and even though I was completely exhausted, even before the labor started, I made it through. I did a lot of praying, and a lot of yelling. lol
I was hooked up to a lot of machines though, because of such low blood pressure, so they wanted to monitor everything going on with me and my baby. So that made things a lot more difficult. Hopefully you won't have to go through that part.
It's certainly scary to be pregnant with health issues, but try to just take one day at a time, and relax as much as possible. Don't even think about the labor right now unless it's to learn ways to be more prepared. I never took any classes or anything. Actually, I was pretty clueless about labor, but yet still so darn determined to do it naturally unless there was an emergency where I couldn't. It probably would have helped to have known more.
Anyway, I sure hope and pray all will go well for you and your baby! Try not to worry!
