Definitely not, and running away is not the answer either. Ya have to fight........for ya right........to paaarrttyy .......in your own country. Obama was not your enemy. He meant well, but he was powerless against the Deep State. It's the vested interests that control him that are the real enemy. Emptying your country of half its population and pouring it into other countries solves nothing. Eventually, the elites will subvert the democratic process there too. CETA is already an example of that, and the game was almost over until TTP and TTIP were sunk by protests around the world, nevermind Trump's lack of enthusiasm for these trade deals. Trump is currently your best chance to disempower them in their power base, but the forces at their disposal are now being orchestrated against him. He and his supporters have some tough times ahead.
Speaking of water, tonight I had the misfortune to see this advert on tv for the first time:
It's absolutely sickening, the hypocrisy on a scale I never thought possible. One of the principle culprits in 'water terrorism' around the world is now posing as a champion of safe drinking water in third world countries. It was more than I could stomach, & I'm afraid I just couldn't restrain myself - the missus musta heard me shouting expletives at the tv from the other room. Matt Damon should be thoroughly ashamed of himself for fronting such an ad, but I guess he'll even sell his soul as long as the price is right. I won't be buying Stella anything - ever again.
Well, if he has, that's an even weirder combo, & flies in the face of NT teaching about the Sabbath, eg. Mk. 2:23-28; Gal 4:8-11, Col. 2:16-17, etc., quite apart from the fact that Jesus was raised on the first day of the week (eg Rev. 1:10). Kyriaki emera (the Lord's day) = Gk for Sunday.
So he's basically ignoring all the NT evidence for the actual day of the resurrection, which is a bit odd for a professing Christian. Basically, he's still stuck in the OT to some extent - a bit like vekky in fact regarding conditional immortality.
Yes, he was indeed a Finalist, as were all the Reformers virtually to a man. In fact, off the top of my head, I don't think I can name a single Reformer who wasn't. Luther, Albrecht, Zwingli, Erasmus, Huss, Melancthon, Tyndale, Knox, Cranmer - all of them saw the redeemed of this age of grace as the unqualified and complete fulfilment of the Abrahamic covenant. Only a few of the Puritans who followed gave any elbow room to the idea of a future mass conversion of Israel, but even then, it was in the context of them being grafted back into their own olive tree (Rom 11) before the second.advent, not after.
But the complete dissociation of the two (ie Calvinism and Finalism) is well illustrated by the fact that Carver, who I have also quoted at length, is a staunch heretic............ I mean Arminian. Well, at least we got there in the end. And no, there is nothing for me to consider regarding my 'choice' of prophetic school beyond what has already been declared as the sole reason for my change of heart & mind - the clear and consistent testimony of Holy Writ, as tested by the clear light of general Gospel principles.
No need for any apologies either, and I have no objection to you 'having fun'. It's almost mandatory for posting on these forums.
Challenge the message and not the messenger!
The first person to resort to name calling and personal attacks automatically loses the debate!
Personal attack is often the best indication that the writer knows his logic is flawed and therefore tries to deflect attention by attacking the opponent, instead of attacking the arguments of the opponent.
