Here is a mystery I have been unable to solve. Basically I always wake up with more inflammation and swelling after sleeping. This can be taking a nap for a couple hours, or a full nights rest. If I go to sleep feeling fine and little inflammation in my digestive system( this is where I have most of my problems) then when I wake up my brain fog will be worse, anxiety higher and abdominal cramping/squeezing pain/tightness will be more. This is the most noticeable problem I have with my digestive system. Does anyone have any idea what body process might be causing this? It would help alot just to know what areas to target to help myself heal.
The new 3rd edition of Dr. Steven Rochlitz’s book, Porphyria: The Ultimate Cause of Common, Chronic & Environmental Illnesses: With Breakthroughs in Diet, Supplements and Energy Balancing has a historic assertion that President Kennedy had porphyria. It delves into JFK' lifelong adrenal problems including the porphyria causation.
Important to use a FAR INFRA RED SAUNA once or twice weekly. Drink as much distilled water as you can while in the sauna. Bring a towel into the sauna to wipe sweat and anything foreign away (never share towels and wash them separate). I recommend temps at 125F -130F but do what you can tolerate until you can work your way up to longer sessions with the higher temps.
Do not do crazy long sessions but do try to work your way up so you can tolerate up to 45 minutes. You are not going to get the toxins all out of your system in one session. It took time for you to get sick it is going to take time and effort to heal. The key factor is are you getting sicker or are you improving?
You must sweat. The more you sweat the more you will clear.
You may begin to have strange things that will begin coming out of your pores including grains that you cannot see but can feel.
Morgellons sufferers may have some odd things like insects come pores. You may have what looks like hair come out but this excess "hair" can be wiped away. Each time there may be less of some one thing but something new the next time. Dont be freaked out, as this is good. It is after all being expelled.
Do not worry as these things coming out. Most of it is dead. In fact the less you worry and stress about anything the better and faster you will heal.
After the sauna, shower from head to toe with your favorite soap. Sulfur soap is good but any will do. If you must bathe then shower after bathing. I read somewhere that a shower is preferred to bathing. I would only bathe if I couldnt have access to the infra red sauna but find one as it helps immensely.
Increase Iodine rich foods (seaweed is best and highest in iodine) and supplement NASCENT Iodine as well. Start slow 1mg increasing by this much daily and work up to 15mg. Nascent Iodine should be done on an empty stomach in the morning. You can add it to lemon water which will help your pH.
Increase your seaweed and or kelp intake. If you use and swear by Miracle-Mineral-Supplement then take that at night away from the iodine. Chlorine and Fluoride will compete for your iodine receptors. Iodine is essential, the aforementioned halides are not. I do not use Miracle-Mineral-Supplement as chlorine competes with iodine.
Xylitol helps, start small 1/4 tsp and work up in small increments. It can be used externally on any sores that you may have. Cranberry is good if you absolutely cannot tolerate xylitol but not the craisins as they are covered in corn syrup.
Eliminate processed sugar. The only Sugar you should be eating is from whole fruit, small portions and around lunch time. Tart fruits are preferred over sweet with the exception of Pineapple but get some variety. If you have extreme yeast issues incorporate fruits and slow carbs only after you get the yeast under control.
I highly suspect some of these crawling feelings are the expansion of yeast populations.
Eliminate breads and yeasts (dont fall for this healthy yeast tale).
Avoid Genetically-Modified-Organisms food. Some believe these diseases are made worse with Genetically-Modified-Organisms foods. Hybrid foods are fine (beets), it is the new school of GMO that are detrimental (no corn). Moringa Leaf is a good way to get iron if you dont want to eat beats. Supplemented iron in a pill is a useless metal and I believe it can be more harmful than good. Get your minerals from food or vegetable powders.
I find wheat grass powder to be most nourishing. I can feel it being absorbed into my system shortly after taking a couple teaspoons in my favorite beverage. It tastes like pea soup so add it to this if you wish but do not microwave the powder.
I am told brown rice and for some reason beans should be eaten daily, but see if the beans work well with you or not. You dont need to eat large portions. I would incorporate the brown rice first and the beans later so you know if the beans are helping.
Symptom reduction will tell you what is working and what is not.
Keep a food dairy and a health diary so you know what is working and what makes things worse. Eliminate anything that makes symptoms worse.
Turn off the WIFI at night or go hard wired connections and scrap the WIFI.
If you are inclined to use medications Ivermectin helps short term but should be cycled and then later used to control symptom relapse for crawls or itch. You should not have to stay on Ivermectin. Dosing per weight can be found at drugs.com and daily doses should be split into 6 hour intervals.
Fluconazole (FLZ) 400 mg daily will keep the fungal aspects of the condition from progressing. You may need to reduce until you can handle it. You may need to take it for a long time before you see any results and you may need a week long break after the first week due to kidney fatigue. I did.
When you wake up in the morning lie there and LISTEN to your body as it will speak to you. Once your brain gets thinking it is harder to tune in to what the body is saying.
I keep coming back to FLZ. I do not worry about liver enzyme elevation as I do not drink alcohol but if you do check with your doctor.
Listen to your body and your intuition. My intuition told me to take Doxy, NAC, and Carnivora before I even knew they could help. If I feel kidney fatigue I take a break or lower the dose.
A completely pale stool is a warning sign on FLZ. Pale spots on the stool less so but if it happens more than once, reduce the FLZ until you can take it without this happening.
Doxy and FLZ are synergistic and the former prevents resistance to the later and makes FLZ fungicidal as opposed to fungistatic, but I cannot take Doxy for long periods. I had to pulse alternating weeks and come off of it.
Xylitol fights yeast, candida, and many bacteria if you cant handle FLZ. I use both.
If you get bit by an insect or what looks like a bite mark, put a generous dab of antibiotic OINTMENT on it as soon as possible.
I assure you I am going to beat this condition. I have no doubt about it.

I would just like to add that not eating salt junk food is good but salt is necessary in our diet. Salt at half a teaspoon per day divided into one eighth doses has helped my son with his electrolytes.

My issues started with what was a systemic yeast infection from mold exposure.
How did I know? Ringworm unresponsive to Terbinafine and every cream out there.
Later jock itch responsive to vaginal yeast creams for a very short time and kept coming back.
All I can be sure of is I know I inhaled a lot of mold over a long period of time as I found a leaking roof 2 years later which is now fixed.
I suffered from small crawls, biting and stinging feelings. I didnt always see an insect. But being fungal sure attracts them.
I now know that whenever an insect bites you that you should apply an antibiotic ointment to it as many biting insects will inject nematode larvae into you. These need to be suffocated before they spread.
Two doctors said I had allergies. They were wrong and kept trying to refer me to another unrelated specialist ignoring my problems so I took matters into my own hands.
I went on a long course of Fluconazole (FZN) 400 mg daily for about 6 months.
My eyes were still red and irritated in the morning until adding Doxycycline (DOXY) 100 mg bid. Any higher led to kidney fatigue. I pulsed this and Nystatin.
Each time I tried to come of the FZN a tingling sensation would return. Not as bad as the stinging biting feeling but more of a tingling. I did come off of it for a couple months.
Then the mad itch began where I was itching over a large part of my body. Also I began to manifest specific symptoms of Lyme which later I found some symptoms more closely matching Morgellons than Lyme.
Increasing intermittent Lung Pain presenting unilaterally then after months bilaterally and becoming constant.
I started to get some of the open sores on my leg that never really heal completely.
These tiny bite mark like red dots that often appeared in rows of threes. Yet we have no bed bugs and I am the only one affected not my wife.
Rash eruption on head and face and in the mouth on cheeks.
I am pre visible fibrous stage but now I know what I am dealing with so the object is to stay ahead of this and or slow the progression.
5 cycles of Ivermectin (IVM) and still whenever I stopped the itching would return. This is one way I had to rule out mites.
I thought it was scabies or some other mite as I recently had the crawling sensation all over the face, head, and ears, as well as small sores on scalp which scabbed over.
I now treat any new skin eruptions with IVM lotion and vaseline and they heal rapidly. I imagine you could use an antibiotic ointment and will try that also in the near future.
What really lead me to the conclusion that it was not a mite in my case and likely Bartonella that is causing the crawl sensation was the diet change to no sugar. The depletion of breads and sugars keep the stinging to a minimum which I can only guess is the keratin poking through my skin.
Any time I gave in to Sugar the sensations would start up again and mites dont work that way.
Bartonella is a bitch and I am not certain how I am going to address this yet.
I suspect the Bart has gotten into all my hair follicles and will cause the mad itch and even the sensation of things crawling on your skin.
I am not suggesting that others dont have nematodes or mites but in my case no one else in the family was affected. I am trying to be logical with a disease that isnt.
I am treating for all possible nematode infections and yes there have been some strange things that leave my system at times.
I followed IVM, with Pyrantel 3day cycle with two seven day repeats to rule out hookworm.
I recently did Mebendazole 100mg bid for 6 days. I had to stop it due to some kidney fatigue. I chose this over Albendazole but the next time around I may use Albendazole. In order to get the Mebendazole to enter into the bloodstream you have to eat a high fat meal. I just took a Tsp of ozonated coconut oil when the meal wouldnt do.
I previously completed 5 days of Nitazoxanide which I have good reason to suspect this goes after the Borellia.
I dont think you need to complete massive cycles of antihelmintics the first time around. Listen to your body as it may say to dial things back until you are stronger.
As an aside I have had chronic back pain issues for decades and am highly likely for P. Acnes that traveled through dental implants and took up residence in my back as there has been no trauma yet I have a herniated lumbar disk and pain in the thoracic with nothing remarkable in that region on the MRI.
As I await the 100 day supply of Augmentin which treats this P. Acnes back infection I began high dose Amoxicillin 1000 mg tid. as I am finding myself Doxy resistant.
After about 6 days the chest pain is near gone. I am considering adding a macrolide just to hit anything unusual.
Joint pain is reduced as well as some back pain reduction already.
I am also back on the Fluconazole for 3 weeks now as I find it helps keep things to a minimum but the minimal Sugar no bread is key to any of this working. Oddly enough fruit sugars in their natural form dont bother me.
IR sauna has ejected some tiny grains as well as a couple strange bugs one time. I do it when I can just weekly. Someone I respect says the former are actually bacterial manifestations.
I am testing nascent Iodine again to stop the hair loss and I believe its helping. It surely helped the adrenal fatigue I was going through previously.
So basically I am on a modified Klinghardt protocol. His protocol is 2 weeks of all sorts of Antihelmintics. You can search it so no need to post.
I am showing massive improvements and at minimum slowing the progression of this condition.
The itch still comes and goes to different extremes at times and I will use IVM or its lotion counterpart at the first sign and not have to stay on it constantly.
I have also noticed my pupils glow green under UV light. I had never noticed this before and dont believe this is normal. I believe it may very well be the way to tell if you carry the thing that causes the condition referenced as Morgellons.

Many with Morgellons are there lurking but are afraid to post. I understand as it is difficult enough to come to grips with Lyme, but the more you know the better off you will be.
I suspect many of us are infected and its just waiting for the perfect storm which will be some stressful event in your life so stay positive. Yes trust me I know how difficult this can be but it is essential.

ChickenArise, sad you have to go thru all that hell. I am too since June 2016. I don't know much, learning as I go, but I've been impressed lately that meds alone won't stop the madness. Building up the immune system seems essential.There are good posts on that on the scabies group, Parasites alternative Rx group, etc. Haven't figured this site out, still can't find my posts from a few days ago. I keep the parasites on the run with topical Ivermectin (cattle drench 5%). I can run them off if they move to a horrible location, but I know it's just games not a solution, unless I repair a stressed and weakened body.
They have recently hit my scalp and nose badly, but worst of all, the gums in the mouth. You might look into healing the body, not just meds. Many good posts on that and everything else I noticed.
I looked up ropeworms as suggested on here, and wow, I think that fits too, lots of bubbly slime mucus in my nose. Dogs very affected with this too. Sneezing badly, slimy saliva for a year or two, mites, worms, etc. One dog has swollen toe, limping badly. Topical Iver really helped her red, swollen lumpy belly, when 2 months of daily oral 2 anthelmintic meds didn't help the dog's belly or ears. I think get the meds on the skin where the problem is. Worked better than oral meds for us. Will start the enemas for ropeworms, when/if I get on a streak of caring.
