Re: hiv apple cider vinegar healing crisis
Yes, oh gosh yes! Hi there, just read your posting and am replying immediately, on 08/14/17. I recently changed my HIV care provider of 10 years to a Kaiser Permanente Clinic much closer to home. Getting to appointments had become very difficult due to distance, and for a full year and some I found myself missing appointments, though my doctor downtown was kind enough to approve my
medication refills, just as always.
I've had just two appointments so far, in May and now again in August, just a week ago. Both visits, I must say I was startled by blood test results regarding my CD4 count. I've been a regular user of raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar (the 'cloudy' kind) for more than 10 years, after first learning it could cure neuropathy, a stinging painful numbness in the extremities-- both my hands were affected and felt like numb Brillo pads. In just a year or so, I could feel the touch sensation returning to my fingertips and now both hands are normal.
After reading your story, I would urge you, in the very strongest terms possible, my friend, to look up online any and everything you can find on raw unfiltered honey, yes, honey. While it's been widely known for years that white table Sugar
has a very weakening effect on the immune system, raw unfiltered honey, however, has quite the opposite effect, and you'll find it being directly linked to hiv/aids case study results in case after case study. It has a proven strengthening effect on the immune systems of individuals infected with HIV, is so full of enzymes vitamins and minerals, has a marked effect on even symptoms of malnutrition, and most remarkably of all: It seems to have as definite and positive an effect on T cell counts, too!
Here's the thing: When I began using apple cider vinegar some 15 or 15 years ago (I've been hiv-positive for 28 years, just last month in July), again and again both the raw unfiltered vinegar and raw unfiltered honey were specifically mentioned and recommended both to be used together, as an ideally beneficial pair of supplements that when taken together, a tablespoon of each stirred into a glass of water, at least once a day, the combination is considered a highly nutritious, quite potent and very beneficial tonic.
For whatever reason, I only just began using honey a little over a year ago, adding it to the splash of cider vinegar I've been using in my daily drinking water for years. The best surprise was the huge difference it made in the taste, cutting back that acidic 'bite' quite alot, making it pleasant even, to drink (iknow!)
Similar to yourself, my CD4 count has hovered somewhere between 400 and 500 for as long as I can remember. In May of this year, my CD4 count was 721, much higher than it had ever been for as far back as I could remember. It took me a day or two, but thinking it over and over, I finally remembered indeed one change and one change only that I had made in my health regimen/diet over the past year and a half, which was the addition of the raw unfiltered honey daily, mixed together with my cider vinegar.
Last week I had my second quarterly doctor's appointment, and could not have been prepared for the stunner waiting for me: My CD4 count had jumped up yet another 300 points and is now 984, nearly a 1,000(!) That's a total spike of 600 points in just 6 months. When I told a friend, he gasped & said: "Wow! That's normal!" "I know!", I said. :-D
And I must add also, my friend: At 6-ft, my ideal average weight is indicated to be 162. I've hovered at 145-147 for years, though recently I had noticed both my appetite and weight had increased somewhat. Returning home from that 2nd doctor visit, on weighing myself, imagine my surprise at seeing the scale read 162, exactly. (iknow!)
If you look at this information online, you will find reference after direct reference as relates to hiv/aids, to not just the apple cider vinegar but also raw unfiltered honey, it being described as packed with vitamins minerals enzymes etc. All other less expensive store brands have been boiled, literally, and ovens for who-knows-how-long, effectively killing any and everything useful in it, this for the purpose of attaining that light beige, and ' more desirable', ' golden' color. (white rice, white bread, anyone??)
I very much hope this information can prove useful to you, my friend. I must say it's more than a bit uncanny, the timing of coming across your forum appeal, just 2 or 3 days after my coming up on my
own personal, and amazing discovery--after 28 years, no less!
A tip: I quickly discovered that filling half of a 32 oz
empty honey bottle with vinegar, then adding the remaining half of honey to fill it, tightly closed, it only took a surprising 3 to 4 good shakes to mix the two thoroughly, dissolving the honey entirely. Now I just keep my new bottle of amazing health tonic on the kitchen counter and add one or two splashes of the mixture to every glass of drinking water, daily. Here's to good, And even Better health, my friend, yes?? I'll be thinking of, and rooting for you, to be sure!
