I am taking enzyme tests anemia testing and hormone test to determine the cause of aches and pains in my back and neck and chronic fatigue...cramping....varicose veins...t I have looked it up but I don't understand what impaired microcirculation is?
I have been reading suggestions on combatting issues from Scleroderma. I am in the new stages (skin around neck hardening, Raynaud's syndrome). My issue is that there are many cleanses I am not able to do because I have already had a kidney transplant (2 actually). The Scleroderma occurred later. I got kidney failure over 15 yrs ago. Wondering if a strict vegan diet will slow progression and if there is anything I can do externally for the skin issues already occurring?
Fasting completely halted my progression as far as I can tell. All Swelling and pain went away. I'm able to juice without re-activating the swelling and pain, but one wrong meal, like a steak, and I am back in pain and swollen the following morning. I've just decided that I will be juicing from here on out till something gives.....
Diet does help. But in my case I had to go extreme with a long term bone broth and whey water fast, then ease into juicing. I can now eat a few things like bananas and avocados it seems without re-activating everything. But burgers, fries, steaks, chips meat especially seems to be out for now if I want to stay feeling good and out of pain....and off all pain medications and prednisone now too.
Google: Dale's Story - Recovery from Systemic Scleroderma
I'm trying a thirty day fast. Prednisone helped me but I know it's not a long term option. I've come across two individuals that cured their advanced scleroderma through thirty day fasting. Google "Dale" and "scleroderma cured" to find Dale's story. So far I'm on day nine and already I'm feeling a whole lot of relief from the fasting. I'd consider giving it a try....
Sorry to bother you.
We are currently looking for UK people with the condition Scleroderma to participate in a paid linguistic feedback survey.
This involves reading through a short document about scleroderma and checking it for accuracy or mistakes. The interview will take about 30 minutes, involves no travel and we collect no personal data. Each participant will be paid $60 (approx £40) for their time.
If you would like to take part please contact me via PM or give me a call on 07508601977
Thanks very much!
You need to treat it from the inside. Your pathways of elimination are congested, I would start reading about colon cleansing after that learn about liver flushing and eat as close to nature as possible. It's the right road to take
have you checked out the parasite area? I have cleared up my asthma attacking fungal level candida and working now on parasites. I inhaled a moldy wasp nest in an old home I was renovating years ago and finally got somewhere with my asthma after 20+years of watching it get worse.
My doctors answer was more meds. They were making me sicker, not better. Check it out and see if it fits.
what a lovely daughter, your mother would be very proud. I am sorry you lost her, and she sounds like she tried to fit a lot into her life, including having you. I am sure she wanted a few more years to be with you. She is with you every single day, always remember that. She really would want that, and I have a great child a bit, well a lot older than you, and I have scleroderma, and its all I want from him is to not be sad when its my turn, but to remember the life we shared. Its my biggest fear to see him sad, I fear it more than scleroderma. My family is messy too hun, but my child and I are very close. The pain your mum went thru towards the end, she is free from the ugly disease. But she will never be free from you. A mother's love is eternal. You go be a good rhuemy, and live the life you want to live, big hugs.
I never listen to doctors, specialists etc when they want to push them yucky drugs into me. I always ask, "Will it cure me?" They say no. It hurts and it is a big pain in the oesophegus and gut lol. I never listened when they said quit smoking. I enjoyed it, it will kill me, but so will scleroderma. I partied hard and danced that bar up a storm. I had fun doing it too, no regrets. I got tats, nose pierced, I became a rebel against sceroderma. I worked hard, travelled, settled down with one child. The child was my reason to quit my hard partying. Not the scleroderma. I prayed I would live till he was 18. I worked 3 jobs and paid off a house, just in case, well you know. Things are worse for me now, throw in very low blood pressure, salt loss, skinny, thyriod, no longer can get my oesophegus stretched. I eat best I can, gave up the smokes, my hand is clubbing, just not me anymore lol. I have great hobbies, get out, friends, and one thing I do know. I would not be here typing this now or had the life I lived if they stuck all them drugs in me. Watched friends I made who also had scleroderma do everything the doctor said, would laugh and tell me off cos I was so norty. They all lost their battle, and I miss them. Just wanted an introduction post, and say hello.
In 2011 Peter was diagnosed with Scleroderma, a fatal autoimmune disease with no cure. arGentis Autoimmune has a promising treatment that may help Peter (and those like him) win the battle against Scleroderma.
Ok, I have decided to share with all of you the Diet of Autoimmune Disease which was successful on many occasions (the link with successful stories is provided below). Also a 17 min video of a woman who Successfully Cured her Autoimmune issue..

Who is Joel Fuhrman..
Joel Fuhrman , M.D., is an American board-certified Family Physician who specializes in Nutrition-based treatments for Obesity and Chronic Disease. He is on the medical staff of Hunterdon Medical Center and also serves as Director of Research for the Nutritional Research Foundation.
Nutrition Instead of Drugs to Treat Autoimmune Diseases..
According to the National Institutes of Health, autoimmune diseases affect 23.5 million Americans, and the prevalence is rising. Autoimmune diseases are one of the top ten leading causes of death for women under the age of 64. The direct costs of autoimmune diseases are estimated to be around $100 billion per year.
Unfortunately, the most common methods of treating autoimmune diseases are fraught with Serious Side Effects:
• Rheumatologists commonly prescribe Immunosuppressive Drugs for patients with Autoimmune diseases. These Drugs Decrease the Immune response by Damaging the Immune system itself. When the immune system is suppressed, the body is much more susceptible to other infections and canNot repair damaged tissue.
• Cytotoxic (toxic to cells) and Chemotherapeutic agents are the active part of Immunosuppressive drugs, and this treatment is Similar to undergoing Chemotherapy for Cancer. These Cytotoxic agents are potentially Dangerous - for example, the FDA has issued a warning for Remicide, a drug commonly used to treat Autoimmune disorders, linking it with an Increased Risk of lymphoma, leukopenia, and opportunistic infections with fatal outcomes.
• Immunosuppressive drugs greatly increase Cancer risk. A 10-year study of patients undergoing immunosuppressive drug treatment found that the patients had a 400% increase in cancer risk.
• Drugs used to treat rheumatoid arthritis are also strongly associated with a wide spectrum of hepatotoxic effects and drug-induced liver disease.
Fortunately, Numerous Studies have shown PROPER NUTRITION to be an Effective and Safe treatment for Autoimmune diseases. Proper nutrition Removes Toxins while simultaneously providing Nutrients that Normalize malfunctioning Immune responses. Also is fasting is an Effective adjunct to a high nutrient diet for Autoimmune sufferers. I previously reported numerous case studies documenting the contribution of fasting to remission of autoimmune disease in published case reports.10 Autoimmune diseases, similar to Cancer and Heart disease, are primarily a result of Inadequate Early-life Nutrition. While it is always preferable to Prevent these diseases through Healthy Diet in the first place, RECOVERY through Proper nutrition and intermittent fasting is Possible in Most cases.
By transitioning to a High Nutrient Plant Based diet and uncovering hidden food sensitivities, many of my patients who once suffered from autoimmune diseases have made Significant Improvements or have Recovered and are Free of Illness as well as Toxic Side Effects of the drugs (!) . Read about Elisa’s Recovery from lupus accompanied with debilitating headaches and fatigue, Laury’s freedom from MS flare-ups; and many more Success stories of people who overcame Autoimmune Diseases with a high Nutrient Diet (this Bit, as a few others, was highlighted in the article, so please see the Original Link provided below to read about those Stories or for More details). For further information, read my Healthy Times Newsletter on the Nutritional Care of Autoimmune Diseases (available in the member center).
In the ‘Eat To Live’ book and November 2004 Healthy Times Newsletter by Dr. Joel Fuhrman, he outlines a specific Dietary protocol for people with Autoimmune diseases like Rheumatoid Arthritis. I suggest you read the whole book and newsletter, as they are More Detailed, but I will outline his Autoimmune Protocol below.
“The key to treating autoimmune illnesses is to obey the H = N/C formula. Only then can the immune system begin to normalize its its haywire circuitry”. - Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Eat to Live (book)
Dr. Joel Fuhrman's Dietary Protocol for Autoimmune Disease..
1. High-Nutrient, VEGAN diet (No dairy), Rich in GREEN Vegetables
2. Blended salads/smoothies and blended soups (utilizing Leafy greens) to Increase absorption of Phytochemicals.
3. Fresh vegetable juice (carrots, beets, parsley, kale, and other Greens)
4. High-dose fish oils or plant-derived EPA and DHA (fish oil is best for Autoimmune sufferers)
5. Beneficial bowel flora (A very potent one he recommends is VSL #3)
6. Natural Anti-Inflammatory Herbs such as Turmeric, Quercetin, Ginger, and Bioflavanoids
7. Multivitamin/mineral, plus additional vitamin D3 supplementation (either in liquid or Softgel forms)
8. Supervised Water-only fasting, Used Periodically, If Necessary
9. Dietary Avoidance of - Salt, Wheat, and Oil (nope)

Far More Detailed information (for Those who NEEDS that) with free articles, free recipes and videos Related to this topic plus, as I said, with far more Detailed Touch of the points mentioned above. See all that in a section “Helpful Tips’ on that page (links provided Bellow).
And I personally think, If Dr. Fuhrman Successfully Cured or Improved the condition of many Auto immune disease patients (read those successful stories in the link I provided above) then, perhaps, his method Works. For those who disagree, please look for other sources of information or go for Conventional ‘cures’. Life is about Choice and also Things which you Believe in. It is Not ‘an Easy’ topic to dive into and Expect Magic results but still Giving it a Go using Plant Based Diet is STILL a CHANCE to get it better.
Some suggest that grass-fed meat, wild-caught fish, organ meat are allowed plus coconut oil.. But the Doctor Fuhrman thinks otherwise (disagree). I guess it is You Choice which way to try. I am just providing you with Information I personally believe in. The net is full of opinions, so Dive in.
