Hi everyone, I joined this forum in hopes of support and maybe similiar stories. I have had severe acne for 5+ years now, trying everything from Proactiv, retinoids, Aczone and tazorac. The only thing it did was get rid of the acne for a short term (and not to mention they costed A LOT). I've tried organic African soap too, but it only made it worse. I honestly feel so defeated because even my dermatologist said it shouldve healed 1 year ago and then he suggested cosmetic surgery. I literally cried the whole drive home. It is just so saddening how acne is ruining my life----it makes me feel worse around people, I've even worn makeup just because it gives me some confidence. I know it shouldn't matter that i have acne because "it's about your personality," yah of course it is but looks give first impressions too, and my acne is horrible. I have it on my left and right cheek, it's much worse on the left one. I have keloid scars and marks on my chest and back too.I am a 19yr old male btw
Anyways, I've come upon water fasting last month and have been amazed at what people have said has happened to their skin issues during and post fast. I've been drinking only 100% natural juices and water for 5 days and plan to for one more day. After tomorrow, I will only drink water for hopefully 14 days....I will listen to my body. After i break my fast, I will eat a healthy, raw food based diet, again.....hopefully
Has anyone else done a water fast for their skin issues? Is 14 days too short? Too long? Sorry for the lengthy post lol
What is the protocal you're following? If a person has no medical ins. and little income, what would you advise? We have various parasites, the worm and gel blob types, still hoping someone might help with id'ing the pics of whatever they are I posted a few weeks ago. ("Please help identify") I tried oral injectible Ivermectin and Albendazole for 2 months, last summer into fall, and Doxycycline. Dogs are still heavily infested, so am I actually. Caged bird has big worms in stool, still, and bird mites still.
Anyway, an order of Bactrim and Albendazole is arriving tomorrow. I started using an entire clove (the whole thing, not a single clove) in scrambled eggs daily, the dogs love it, and I think it's working better than any medicine. Also garlic finely grated in romaine salad with citrus/olive oil dressing--dogs LOVE it, hilarious!! :) Romaine for me is an anti-biotic, always has been . I hear it's used as an antibiotic for tortoises. I think it really helps the immune system. Poor man's ways to try to recover from the worst hell. Any additional inexpensive ideas welcomed!!
Are you going to treat for fungus? Do detox for heavy metals? Take pro-biotics? Take digestive enzymes? Herbs, etc? Is your protocal expensive? I didn't quite understand you sometimes, your ending sentence "Coincidence?" I have brain fog so maybe that's why. Glad you posted. Somewhere I read that most communication on these boards are thru PM, sad to see that b/c many won't benefit who could have. Hope you get some good replies.
I had a Molar tooth out 5 months ago that had root canal treatment 12 years previous and I am happy with the gap so far. I do not want am implant and definitely do not like the idea of a bridge that would file down 2 good teeth.
I still have 1 other tooth that had root canal treatment 12 years ago so am interested what you chose to do.
I'm taking a teaspoon a day, I think its the omega 3 doing it. Eating salmon clears up my acne to. I was eating a fillet of salmon every day for awhile, and all my acne cleared up. Then I stopped eating salmon and the acne came back. Then I started taking cod liver oil and got the same effect.
From what I know zinc deficiency can cause acne to. I've heard people clearing up their acne by rubbing fresh urine on their skin.
I am not an expert in skin care, in fact I have very limited knowledge in skincare and makeup. So this is based on my own personal experience on what has worked for me. In the video, I did not put on any cream or foundation, only a little bit of eye make-up. I hope this video will help you out in some way or another. =)
Same problem for four years.dr think I'm crazy.i feel crazy.after dealing with this.gonna try the neem stuff.thank u.hope it works.got breast implants and the black things are coming out of left breast now.
Hello there guys, so this is my first post and first account as I've been hesitant to post anything. Ive just been lurking around here for a few months learning and understanding information about Candida.
I've never been diagnosed with Candida, but I suspect that I have Candida due to myself having had multiple courses of antibiotics for acne (latest was about 6 months ago actually) and lots of medications as a child, and lifelong junk food eater(mostly sugary and starchy carbs as a kid). I switched to a healthy diet around 3 years ago and then went to Paleo eating styles, and lastly for a year or so have been on a strict whole food based ketogenic diet. All my "Candida" symptoms dramatically went away while on that diet. No acne, rashes, digestive issues, none of them at all. Then...around my 8th month in ketosis....my symptoms all started coming back. I'm assuming it was due to me also being on antibiotics(didn't want to stop taking them even tho keto took care of it cuz I heard it can cause antibiotic resistance)
i also read that Candida can adapt to feeding on ketones! That scared the hell out of me so I decided to just screw it all and eat a bunch of carbs foods like sandwiches and pasta for 2 weeks(5 weeks ago). I felt awful...my stomach was grumbling strangely and making weird sounds so I finally manned up and chose to buy Oil of Oregano. I went back on to my ketogenic diet 3 weeks ago but added 10 drops of Oil of oregano, large doses of virgin coconut oil(8-9 tablespoons), 2 cloves of garlic, cayenne pepper, turmeric and black pepper. I also introduced 2-3 cups of whole milk Kefir everyday, 8 tablespoons of sauerkraut and kimchi for the first week and experienced HORRIBLE "die off" of some kind of bacteria because my stool for that whole week was covered in strange stringy white things and lots of mucus. I'm still using the same regimen these two weeks and presently, but I'm not experiencing any more due off reactions, my skin is clearing up rapidly, I'm feeling more healthy than I ever have been before. I'm also taking 20g of L glutamine powder a day just in case I have leaky gut. Am I cured of Candida now that I'm feeling excellent and have no more die off reactions? Can I reduce the dosage of probiotics and antifungals now? And how long should I keep taking L glutamine? I'm never gonna go back to eating junk food again, just gonna stick to my whole food ketogenic diet for life, maybe some probiotics 2-3 times a week, is this a good idea? I've also been doing cleanses using " Oxypowder " once a week and using magnesium oxide everyday to make sure I'm getting everything out of my system.. Am I supposed to keep experiencing die off? I can take probiotics without any bloating at all now which makes me feel as though I've cleared it out of my system. Any help would be appreciated.
