Hi.I accidentally found that if i don't eat proteins ,i feel better. If i eat protein my heart aching and it pounds more strongly, and i sleep worse. And these deep lines on my fingertips appear.I eat only chicken/turkey breasts and cottage cheese(I'm tolerant). What's up?Experts claim that it's essential to eat protein if your adrenal are exhausted.. And also i like protein and if i dont eat it, i must eat more calories because i feel hungry all the time then...so I'm getting more skiny but gain fat.. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thank you.

Wow! I just stumbled upon this post and I feel like I could have written it myself. I know it's 4 years later but is everyone's AF gone now? I'm WD from a SSRI and my adrenals crashed. I also have popping and cracking of my joints all over as well as muscle pain all over my body. I feel like I'm 100 yrs old. Did it eventually heal on it own? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

I did a breath test which came back positive, though now that i think about it it was a hydrogen breath test for SIBO, though, in the GI stool effects test i had a positive result for occult blood which might mean LGS. I had a test done many years ago which came back positive for LGS but that was a completely different type of Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome I had back then.
Had it tested through amazon and it came back cladosporium, it's getting all over the place, I've killed off every area as it grows and it will just grow somewhere else
as to constipation, this time around I was able to cure my chronic constipation by taking DGL form of licorice for a year or so, after that when I stopped and my bowels continued to function normally I realized i didn't need it anymore
N acetyl cysteine did make me feel good for a month or so then stopped though it might have had to do with GSH levels rather than gut bacteria, mastic gum gave me similar results, check mastic out, it definitely has some good effects on the gut, antimicrobial and all

Even worse I'm not consuming 2300 calories a🙂day smh I realize this is more complex than I thought a person can eat five meals a day but if its not high calorie then u can still be undereating but I eat 2 to 3 meals and they are not enough calories at all i think since I cut back on fast food n Sugar I'm starving myself I'm gonna go to vitamin shoppe and buy a bulk weight powder and try burgers hear n there n peanut butter sandwiches its against my type of healthy diet but starvation mode could be a problem I noticed since the last 2days of eating peanut butter sandwiches n burgers n 2tbsp of olive oil my stools have become dark brown as they once use to be and not light brown (insufficient bile) I may hold off on preg hormone for the moment or maybe do both
Hello, It's been a while since I've written a message. I had been feeling better until recently. But about three months ago, I experienced a kind of backslide/relapse. I take a lot of treatments for AF, so at times I can feel better, but right now I can't seem to feel better for any length of time (for example, I might start a day off feeling badly and end it okay. Or I might have a decent day followed by a terrible one.)
I will talk to my doctor again tomorrow (he's a good integrative doctor so will be open minded) and wanted to be armed with ideas since the typical things don't seem to be pulling me out of this relapse this time.
My main symptoms are that buzzed adrenaline feeling and nausea (just feeling generally sick). I can also feel like I've been hit by a truck if I sit around too long. Occasionally a headache. While I don't have a ton of symptoms, there are pretty debilitating at their worst, practically homebounding me. It's difficult to work or know how I'll feel each day to make any kind of plans.
I live in Indiana and the pollen count is high...so I started considering if this is a high histamine issue affected by AF, or vice versa. I have entertained this in the past and somehow pulled out of it, but can't remember what I did then related to histamine, if anything. (I've been at this 17 years and go in and out of wellness. Most recently I worked full-time for 5 years, so I was doing pretty well for a while).
Does anyone more educated about histamine have any thoughts based on this brief summary?

You might want to get a cortisol saliva test done to see if your adrenals are doing ok, adrenal problems can cause anxiety and fatigue. Might have to see a doctor who uses alternative medicine therapies to get the test done and to prescribe the cortisol if it turns out you are deficient, I see a functional medicine doctor regularly and have been able to improve from their help though i can't say i'm fully well but they haven't given up on me and continue to suggest new things to test and new meds/supplements to try. Also it might cost a lot so if you do go that route ask about the kind of pricing you can expect to deal with from the doctor if money's an issue.

Please don't consider raising selenium to 800 mcg without knowing you need it. I never took more than 200 mcg, yet after several years of it my blood level was close to being too high. I stopped it for awhile and am now back on it. Soils vary considerably in their selenium content. Stay on 200 mcg and take all the Iodine you need. BTW, the skin test has no value, as Dr. Abraham explains here:
I purchased Thorne Adrenal Cortex.
Since day one, I started to feel very very anxious and couldn't sleep at all.
I thought it may be some kind of a transition period.
Later, I dicovered some threads here on Curezone. It seems Throne Adrenal Cortex works this way for many people - it's great when your adrenals are very weak and cortisol is low. I have opposite problem though - mine seem to be over-active and my cortisol level is too high.
I stopped taking it. But there was something strange: while taking it, I had significantly smaller appetite. I lost some weight, even though I took it only for 8 days, and usually I struggle with losing any weight.
I don't understand why? :)
For example if I up the testosterone (with either preg, dhea or real testosteron - since I have it on hand) and up progesterone with otc cream (affordable) then the estrogen will naturally start to increase.
Here's my incomplete plan so far
== Not famililar with bladderwrack. I tend to use herbals after seeing what I can accomplish with the vitamins, minerals, natural hormones, etc that the body uses every day.
-try phytoestrogen cream
-liver flush for better cholesterol/estrogen help
-introduce progest cream mid cycle until night sweats are gone
== View diagram above. Is your cholesterol level okay, if not support intake and absorption of it in the gut.
== Pregnenolone is inexpensive and easy to take--maybe 10-15mg two or three x per day. I think we need Zn to convert it. Others suggest B5, Vit C.
== DHEA is inexpensive, but start with low end of dose for female after Zn is on board. look up most common side effects of taking too much of them for *your* body's situation.
== OTC prog cream may be helpful at appropriate times of the "month" for premenupausal women.
TEST / DHEA
-start with real test?
-start with dhea?
== If taking DHEA supplement I'd want to get numbers on DHEA, not just DHEA-S, maybe both one time to see how your converting it--more if requested.
== Once you change life you may want some estrogen.
== I think we need iron in Aromatase enzyme to convert testosterone to estrogen
== Hormones are powerful so we need to respect that power. It is best to work with a doctor and get followup labs.
