Thanks for your reply and for being civil with me.
What I'm saying is that a nation is basically a tribe - a unit bound by shared ancestry, language, culture, and religion - according to the Biblical and generally traditional worldview. The US at this point is a collection of various tribes and really many people who lack any tribal identity, but is unwilling to admit that, which I think is the cause of big problems related to the events at Charlotteville etc.
I'm not saying that whether the nation you have been born into or reside in affects whether God hears your prayer, but just like God cares about families as a unit of people, He also cares about nations. Living in a family where you are the only Christian does not exclude you from salvation, but it makes it harder to live a pious life, and the same is true for nations.
According to numbers, I would say that the US still are a Christian country, but the ruling ideology is hostile to Christianity, and in international relations the US don't act as a Christian country, unfortunately.
Concerning the failure to obey God's command to be fruitful I totally agree with you. A lot could be said about why that is so. After all, it is not just a divine command but also something that people appear to just do naturally under normal circumstances.
