By all means please try a fast with distilled water. I have done a few fasts with distilled water, and didn't see a big difference, as well as found out that it was pH 5.0 water I was drinking I stopped using it. I used to get a local supermarket brand, it was a rip off. I too want to purchase a distiller with ozonating capabilty. Dr. Robert Rowen talks about ozonated water and its therapeutic value.
If I find a good source of distilled water, I am going to give it a try for regular use.
