Leaky gut has crossed my mind before but the naturopath I was seeing did not think that was a main problem for me. Although, he performed the Life Systems Test on me and found out I had certain food intolerances which I avoided but still my symptoms go up and down. I will look more into Leaky Gut. I'm also experiancing hair loss. I don't know if it's another symptom of ill health or just from all the stress eczema has brought me.
Just curious, did you have eczema or just the dry skin you mentioned? How is your skin now?†
I'm helping a family member to cope with TBI. You can imagine my excitement and gratitude when I found your page. I devoured every one of your words and wholehearted hope you're now 100% recovered. I'm also wondering if you have any suggestions as to pain management? My family member suffering from TBI has severe headache and pains throughout body, we're at a loss what to do...
Much love and gratitude...Look forward to hearing from you.
MMMmmmm.. That looks like Candida to me.... I have almost all of your symptoms and I just found out that I have Candida... I am so happy because I finally know what I have my health has been declining for a couple of years now... look up the symptoms of candida you will probably be shocked.. it has ALOT of symptoms.. if you have adrenal exaustion you probaly have a leaky gut caused by the candida ( thats what I have ) and it affected my organs ( gallblader and adrenal glands ) look up the symptoms and go see your doctor run some tests to see if its really that that you have dont take medication for candida cure it a holistic way. you will have to detoxify your body it will take time but you will get better and gain more mental clarity :) good luck
Hi, congrats on looking after your family.
My best estimate is you guys are suffering from severe withdrawals from food additives , preservitives and esp msg which is in everything.
In the long run non-organic food can make you not just sick - but dead... But that's the worst non- organic non-foods such as cotton candy, and other junk. Remember many many many people have cured cancer by eating the right kind of non organic food. It's about knowing what to buy, what safe foods are, even which county to source your ingredients from. For eg, anything organic from china doesn't mean a great deal and can possibly be 10 times worse than non organic from Europe due to the standards. For eg, we only get our rice from certain countries of origin... And hey if your buying organic poisons such as candy... You might as well not bother. Organic asnic will do the same thing as non-organic asnic.
We are a huge family and we eat organic. It's costs us what most people pay in 2 months on their groceries for just one trip... The checkout person usually shake their head in disbelief at us.. It is insane. So we have to shop smart.
Many things such as watermelon, pineapple, and many other things use no chemical intervention and are ok to get inorganic (well in my country aus, anyway)
Look at each food and nutrient to see which ones are ok - study lists of most chemical foods such as celery, grapes, apples, potatoe - and just never get these organic. Look at what has minimal interference and you may be able to get them non-organic.
Yes you are making your kids sick by giving them JUNK! If you gave them non organic fruit or veg they would most likely not be ill. As the parent set boundaries that as a family you altogether shun non-nutritious food. Make healthy sweets and treats instead.
I fazed in organic but before that I ate clean... Limited grains, mainly fruit and veg, occasional meat (btw meat is a must for being organic and fish must be wildcaught!!)
If you are clean and weren't as strict with organic you'd still be ok and not sick.
One time after being clean and organic I ate corn chips with supposedly whole ingredients. I was in bed for 3 days having a spaz out because of hidden msg. After not having the additives, my body was re sensitised to them and I was greatly effected. This is what your family is experiencing. Think; if I had a non oganic coconut instead of the cornchips would I have had the same reaction? OF COURSE NOT! It's simply a matter of food choices.
Eating out and road trips is tricky. I usually prefere to take my own food/picknick... Or I am pretty astute. For eg I get Thai food and stipulate that any additives will make me ill and I'm likely to seek danages - so they oblige and leave them out.
Arab food is always healthy, so is a lot of quality Mexican (if you order right!)
And everywhere has seafood which I turn to the most!
I mostly stop by farm roadside stalls and fruit markets and just get fruit when I'm out. Maybe organic yoghurt. To my family we have accustomed ourselves that this IS a treat and better than toxic food. We love the random surpises of trying health foods while where out.
It's about YOU teaching/ educating and reprogramming your kids minds as to what is tasty and good and what is awful. My kids now look at people who eat junk food and sweets and pitty them. They don't feel left out. I educated them. My 14 year old sister came to live with me. She used to sustained on purely processed foods. She has lost 20kg and is now educated as to how bad that food is. Even if I try I could not even force her to eat unhealthy food... She has made health her philosophy. That would have never had happened if every so often we ate chocolate and junk food. It would have been a contradiction and confused her. Stay firm and imbed your philosophy to your kids... Otherwise some multinational corp will!
As for vitamins and powders - sure they are necessary sometimes. I do not allow my kids to have them. They are for adults only. The Eason being is that if you get your kids bodies used to that they will need and often rely on it. They are harsh on the body. Us adults take them every so often for short periods as a pep up only when they are needed. I have the same rainbow light. I try to stay away from concentrated stuff as the body isn't naturally used to taking things in that form.. USE FOOD AS YOUR MEDICINE!
Focus on a nutrient, then medicinslise your family with it and move on to another. We shouldn't need pills to solve our problems. It's a bad way to train our kids. Nutrients comes from the right foods in the right amounts.
Also eat only what you need when your hungry. Over eating organic food will make you sick and broke.
I really do applaud your steps to better health!! Xx
I have been studying an approach simular diet plan that is like the Japanese diet if u don't know the Japanese are some smart eaters they eat lots of seafood and veggies now based in research the benefits from the sea are amazing diet wise they seem to eat lots of Iodine mean while Americans r low in Iodine and sick overweight and less smart the kelp seaweed thing I am going to experiment with LugolsIodine getting 12.5 mg of iodine as that is what they get average part 2 is the amount of fish they eat they are probably getting the omega oils many benefits so instead of eating like Japanese lol I think iodine and fish oil or shark liver oil with a healthy diet over powered by more fruits n veggies is my goal the Japanese have good skin and live long higher i.q and we know iodine has been shown to do with brain development and i.q fish oil is great on skin and it's good oils Japanese don't get all this genetics either study show they come to America they get fat lol and take all our problems ingesting what comes from the sea has always been so beneficial for us humans
It’s hard to say which rice is the best for you as all of the different varieties have different pros and cons when it comes to rice nutrition facts, but the least healthy for you is white rice.
That is not to say that white rice is bad for you; it isn’t, but compared to the other types of rice out there.
The milling process that makes white rice white also takes a lot of the fiber away from the grain. Brown rice and wild rice are much better for you than white in terms of fiber and other nutrients.
However, white rice tends to have fewer calories than the other types of rice. Taking brown rice as the example, brown rice has more micronutrients and a lower glycemic index than white rice, but it also has more carbs and calories than white rice.
Vitamin B12 is one of those vitamins you need for a number of things, including helping your nervous system and brain function properly and the creation of red blood cells. It can be found in abundance in meats and other animal products. This is great news for those of us who eat meat, but if you are a vegetarian, it makes things a little more difficult. So, we’ve done some research and present to you an introductory look at vitamin B12 foods for vegetarians. We’ll discuss vitamin B12-rich foods that fit a vegetarian diet, why you need B12 in your system
Once i took a powerfull antioxidant from Pine tree (don't remember the name) for oxidative stress... i felt after one pill some body/mind rush, anxiety, fast toughts, irritated and agitated...
after that is started noticing that i can't take Vit C before sleeping, or any kind of antioxidant...
I supplement with Magnesium Chloride and Lugols'/ SSKI for 2 years...and i'm taking some gram doses of vit c peer day, along with Tumeric extract,Coconut oil and Omega3...and Melatonin for sleeping
I try to be healthy the best i can, avoid bad drinks and bad food most of the time.
This is really weird
I also made a coconut oil recipe with 4 essential oils for gingivitis today, which i passed on my gums...and then felt this rush, very badly...seems to me the antioxidants from them went directly to my brain (clove, peppermint, geranium and eucalyptus)
Virgin coconut oil is really good for my hair, its make smooth and shiny. I have been using it for about 2 months, and I do need to worry again about the grey.
I like to use virgin coconut oil for cooking as well as it has very low fat.
