So, I made 3 mistakes this month that has shown slow hair growth.
For months, my hair was growing like a weed! But, this month, I'm just average - 1/2 inch. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful. During the worst of my chronic fatigue, my hair hardly grew at all.
But my hair was growing at 3/4 inch a month and at that rate, my highlights would be grown out by this summer.
These are the mistakes I made this month:
1. I haven't been taking vitamin D or B12 for a long time. I tan in our living room for a couple hours a day.
I thought that would be enough, but I guess not. I caught the stomach flu, after 5 weeks of the best energy of my life.
During that time, I also didn't catch any colds or viruses. This was a big change for me. Suddenly getting sick means something about my immune system changed for the worse.
Also, my tongue has a slight crack down the center, as well as slight ridges on my pinky nails. Both of these are possible signs of low B12. So yesterday, I started taking Vit D, and B12, and I already feel better.
2. For the last couple months, I haven't been craving seaweed so I haven't been eating it. Big mistake! Seaweed helps your hair grow because it has so many minerals in it. I think this may be the second reason for slower hair growth.
3. I haven't been massaging my scalp. I used to do it every night because it helps me relax and sleep. But since I've been feeling so amazing, I was just concentrating on enjoying life!
I've done more in those 5 weeks than the whole 1.5 years I had chronic fatigue. So this month, I for sure will use it. I really want my highlights grown out as soon as I can.
So I'm 6.5 weeks into h2o2 therapy, down to 11 drops.
My energy skyrocketted, and I passed all kinds of crazy critters. Now besides black sesame parasites, spaghetti-like worms, vermicelli-like worms, black perfectly shaped pea like things, lots of mucus, and black rubbery stuff, I've passed more yucky things. I now have passed white perfectly shaped pea like things, and also white ribbony things.
I used to think that I wasn't getting all the oxygen I needed to kill off parasites because I can't afford to buy organic. But it seems like many raw foodies, along with most people on the planet have parasites.
All through history, people have done parasite cleanses every spring!

Hi everyone, this is an update from my last message about my eyebrow loss. I said I had a patch missing and thinning. I still have it and it's only gotten worse. I went to the doctor and she said its a fungal infection and went on antifungal cream for 6 weeks. No improvement. I doubt it was fungal infection now. Is there any natural remedies or cures for this? I don't know the cause but would trying remedies help for this? I've been to countless doctors and all been dismissive. Is there anyway to grow it back? Can I go to a naturopath to find out the cause or a dermatologist? Thanks guys/gals. Appreciate any advice you can give.
Thanks banjos for your reply. My only question is can castor oil help to grow eyebrows back even if underlying cause is not found of treated? I still don't know the cause of my eyebrow loss-I was told fungal infection-but I'm not sure that's the cause. Will using castor oil be 100% effective when i have not treated the underlying cause? It's great to hear your eyebrow filled in - well done! I will try it anyway as very desparate at this point for anything. Thanks.
Sorry for all the supplement endorsements. I'm really trying to be open and hopefully also helpful. No longer am I doing the Kefir, it took too long to prepare; maybe in the future I will do it again. Lufenuron was too expensive to keep up, so I had to stop that too.
I have fixed the issues I was complaining about before.... post-nasal drip, foggy brain, hair loss, fatigue, scalp tenderness... I also had breathing issues. I turned my sights on clearing my sinuses, and it worked. I'm using something called "sinupret."
I still take anti-candida supplements and general health supplements that I previously mentioned off and on, just to help my body recover from all the toxins its been battling. The candida has died down if not gone away. Candida is an immunocompromised organism, meaning it shouldn't be out of control in a normal healthy individual. Maybe my sinus issues allowed candida to run rapid.
Do not give up! When meeting people, I don't believe in coincidence. Maybe I chanced upon the forum to help you and I have something that can be a solution to your problem.
I guess there was no diagnosis for you yet. Normally, diagnosis is essentially in order to determine the treatment. Without diagnosis, it is hard to give prescription drugs right for you. We may think that it is the only way.
But do you know that there is a research company that found a molecule that would transmit immunity to your body. It took 40 years of scientific research to make it commercially viable. Yes, this is science-based.
This molecule might address your hair loss problem, but more importantly boost your general health concern as well. It focuses on boosting, educating, and balancing our immune system particularly our natural killer cells.
I don't want to make this message any longer. You could check this link to know more about it:

I realise this post is 6 years old now but there is so little out there on the side effects of doing a MC. I cannot do any major type of cleanse without shedding. It is a direct link between cleanse and shed. Most of the issues I've had with my hair are from trying to do something 'good' for me, usually with a naturopath's instructions. The last cleanse I tried was with thyme oil on the soles of my feet twice a day. Nowhere near as harsh as other attempts. It took five days and my hair just started falling, again. Even aromatherapy can hurt if it's in excess. I don't believe in cleanses anymore. I can tolerate just one spoon of broccoli sprout powder with sodium ascorbate in the morning without consequence but I would not raise that to twice daily because of the reactions I've had in detoxing. I have an mthfr Mutation and I'm sure that's why I'm so sensitive. Perhaps you need to do that test to find out? Good luck and go easy
That sounds wonderful....but aren't they microscopic? As I am sitting here covered in cocoanut oil. Have been having this 'scabies' thing for 2 years.....doc just suggested that mayyybe that's what I had..... last week😡.....used the permethrin....and had THE best nights sleep in 2 years....so I have tried almost everything ...don't think they are gone yet
Hi there, I would rather tell you my regimen I've been doing for the past 5 weeks.
The powders I use are shikakai, bhrami, aritha (areetha), neem, and fenugreek. The clay i use is the green clay. I usually put 2 spoons of fenugreek into a glass bowl and then i add 1 spoon of the other powders and mix them together. I then add melted coconut oil into the mixture, about 2 spoons, and i add as much green tea into the mixture until it becomes the consistency i like.
I leave the mixture in the glass bowl, covered for about 1-2 hours to allow the powders to interact with one another. while the mixture is settling i apply coconut oil and bhrangraj oil to my scalp, do a quick 2 minute massage and leave it on until the mixture is ready.
I apply the mask and leave it for 30 minutes and rinse off. i do not cover my hair.
After i rinse out the mud mask, I add marshmallow root tea to my scalp and hair as a leave in moisturizer because the mask can be quite drying if you're not moisturizing your hair properly.
I am sorry to hear about your fathers condition. It is frustrating having alopecia and not having it taken seriously. i have been to dermatologists and doctors and been told that nothing will help grow my hair back. after 6 years my hair growing and falling out, i've chosen to go the ayurvedic route.
Along side my hair routine, i take 2 b complex pills, 1 zinc 25mg pill and 2 spoons of cod liver oil every morning with orange juice, drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
I also massage my scalp for 20 minutes at night in the morning, with or without oil. if my arms get too tired, i use an electric massager for my scalp
Unfortunatley i am unable to post the links of where i got the information from.
