Hi Reb, as ever thanks for your long detailed reply.
I feel rough at the moment, so think I will wait until I feel ………less rough.
Scare me off? Yes…its scary. Slow and start small seems good advice. .
“I have nearly ended my life many times from using random chelating or things that stir mercury up” such a short sentence to describe such difficult & hard times. I don’t know what to say…thanks for the help & advice you keep giving.
my journey has been a roller coaster ride this year. During that time i have learned lots and lots, done lots and lots and now.....and now i'm getting the big guns out. Hopefully the mercury is the root cause, but i still have to clear out the congestion in the kidneys & liver, food intolerances, allergies and rid myself of the bacterial overgrowth in my small intestine that is a major major problem. All of which, on there own, are bloody difficult. Now that i KNOW all thats wrong with me....its all a bit daunting! what to start with? all together? little by little? some more than others?
I just started probiotics for the bacteria...first 2 days gave me major headaches, ouch! This is apparantly a GOOD sign! "a classic detex sign" - well...feels like a really bad headache to me.
I got bio-compatibility tested for all the amalgam replacement materials so i'm ready to go. In fact, i got bio-compatibility twice to make double sure.
I have a bumpy ride ahead of me these next 6 months, but i'm going on holiday for 2 weeks tomorrow....so i will enjoy them. Amalgams start coming out the first week i'm back.
Top Cat has a better sound to my ear. I used to love that cartoon as a kid. Officer Charlie Dibble, Benny, The Brain! Ok TC!
Biocompatibility test: I used 2 different people that use Applied Kinesiology (muscle tesing) for my tests. Some people (hi Torrie) will not agree/approve because its “not scientific” but I have lots of experience with this method and it works for me. One was recommended by my dentist, the other I already know and has helped me plenty.
In fact the reason I used two different people to cross check the results is because of the skepticism about the method.
One AK person tested the main products the dentist was considering, about 15 different types. The other the dentist recommended tested 50 different products, of which 36 where fine and ok to use, and 14 where not compatible.
There was one product, that one said yes and the other said no, for which I am glad I used two people to cross-check the results, which I will simply not use. Was “VitreBond” which is a lining material, whatever that is? I will use the products that both OKed.
I believe dentist will be using Cerec for me, although that is to be reconfirmed.
Estimated cost for 2 inlays and 5 fillings is £2500 ($5000) in total
The expensive stuff is the two inlays @ £700 each
Will be taken out by quadrant, bottom left first because that has the highest reading of electrical activity.
Diet: yes I’m on a special diet and have had a totally clean-up diet for 5 months now. Have tried;
limited diet of 10 foods only – yes it works but very hard
rotation diet with about 30 foods – yes it works but is super doper double triple hard.
I am currently on a special enzyme diet, to generate enzymes – which is not really working but is much easier. (for example I can eat lentils and brown rice which make life easier.)
It does make me happy that the headaches are “classic sign of die off” but I’m going on holiday tomorrow and I have an 11 hour drive….i do not need a headache now! I will hold off any more probiotics until after I arrive. I am looking forward to my drive down to the south of France in my sports car with just me, myself and I
Wife & daughter are on the plane
Only reason i'm driving is because i got myself a fast car! In the end it was 12 hours each way, including plenty of restbreaks. Bought myself a load of new tunes, an audio book "the time travellers wife" ..... so was great fun, i would do it again, but only in the fast car! Was a good holiday in France, but the weather was rubbish! too much rain...
Finished Andy Cutlers book, excellent read, now i am re-reading it because it has set off alarm bells ringing about whats happened and whats happening right now. i have some questions which i will post separtely.
Ultra hard diet is finally working, i have my hunger back, i am hungry all the time and i have gained 1kg, which is the first time i have gained weight in....too long....4-5 years?
oh yes....the n.acetyl cysteine....that is no good for me. first time it gave me the headaches. second time i tried it i got headaches, digestion problems, woke in the night with my throat fizzing...(?), teeth dis-coloured, gums started to bleed.....no thanks...experiment over.
Re the drive; yes it’s a guy thing, but just imagine for 1 minute that you where gonna do the drive. No pressure, no hurry or rush, no deadlines, no hassle, no yelling kids, no grumpy men, no boss, no email, no phone…just you, your favorite music and the open road to start your 2 week chillout holiday. What car would you drive? The car of your dreams. Could be anything you like…...?
Well…I drove down in the car of my dreams and it was wonderful
First day back in the office today and I feel rough again! Ahhhh! So ……… I have been reading about the sulfur food avoidance diet…..and ……looks like at least 50pct of the food I’m eating is sulfur foods! i.e peas, beans, lentils, broccoli, cabbage, turnips, onions, shallots, garlic plus some meat and fish.
Saturday and Sunday probably was closer to 80pct sulfur food for the journey.
I would guess that maybe the cysteine stirred things up and pushed me over my toxic limit again, because I was doing very well on holiday.
so now for my next trick I will attempt the no sulfur food diet. Starting today, as of now. This diet is tricky but no more so that any of the other diets I have tried.
Incase you forgot, this excludes the following foods; (In no specific order)
bakery products containing whey, cysteine, eggs or "enzymes"
beans (all types) and bean sprouts
soy (soy milk, tofu…)
dried fruit preserved with SO2
bananas, avocados, honeydew melons (These aren't sulfury but some people do have problems with them.)
meat, poultry, fish
Sorry to hear you having a rough time too. I don’t know much about candida, except that it’s very hard to shift and not everyone who thinks they have it, actually does have it, which makes understanding it very difficult because everyone has different/contradictory ideas of how to get rid of it. I had people telling me I had candida but after some funky tests I in fact have “small intestine bacterial overgrowth” (SIBO) which I guess is like the difference between Coke and Dr.Pepper. they are both soft drinks, both fizzy, both rot your teeth, both poison you, but never-the-less they are still different things.
In my sulfur diet search I did come across mention of chorella….see the end of this message: (reference “chorella and other algae”)
is “kelp” an “algae”? or are they two different things?
I have requested to join Yahoo “frequent-dose-chelation · Rational Mercury Detoxification Support” – I await acceptance.
D-Day is Wednesday for phase 1 of Amalgam removal.
Re sweating + baths….i will post a fresh topic
No one told me the rubber dam is really horrible experience! Thanks for the warnings! LOL
Ok TC you look great tonight. LOL
Opps, almost forgot to reply to yr last. Herb allure looks like the forum for me, in a traditional forum style too, unlike the yahoo group.
3 out Wednesday, one of which is a biggy and will require an inlay, all in lower left quadrant.
Fish seems to be ok for me, although I only eat it twice per week.
Chicken seems ok, but doesn’t do much either way.
Beef I don’t digest very well, so I’m keeping clear of beef.
Lamb is wonderful. Makes me feel great, but I have to watch out not to eat too much because I enjoy it so much.
Also eating stored meat causes me troubles. Cook it then eat it is fine, but if I cook it then store it and eat it the next day….it does not agree.
(this is part of the special diet I’m on, but I have no idea of the why, but stored meat is no good for me. any meat is obviously organic only, bought and cooked the same day, again no idea why but it works for me.)
Re stomach troubles. I have had a total ‘mare, and continue to have a ‘mare. At the moment my life revolves around my diet, which is the ONLY thing that makes a difference. I am also so limited in what I can eat. One crumb of the wrong thing eaten and that’s me struggling again, but because of the delayed reaction its so hard to figure out what caused what. Bloody ‘mare.
Something buggered up this weekend, will see what happens on this sulphur diet. But now I have 5-6 days of symptoms to get through, which just seems to be this horrid tingly arms and legs stuff……unnnnnnnnnnnpleasant. Will OD on Vit B12 if I don’t watch out.
re epsom salt baths......oh yesummmmmm i love them. 2-3 times a week at the moment as per askmoreless protocol. at first they knocked me for 6 and i had to drastically reduce the dosage and could only manage 10 minutes. now up to 3/4 dosage and can do 30 mins....i love to sweat as i am cold all the time. i just took mt temp every morning for 5 days....averaged 36.6 deg f (it should be 37.7 F) not good.
bath is with epsom salts + baking powder + hydrogen peroxide.have you tried with epsom salts and apple cider vinagar? they are something extra special, super doper double lovely jubbly nice. makes your skin feel as soft as a lickle fluffy lambs bottom! if u have not tried one you have missed out big time....... http://www.askmoreless.com/alkalizing_baths
Will now go and brush up on the amalgam removal protocol on curezone, then early to bed for me tonight.
See u on the other side!
lol thanks for noticing!
Yeah the herballure forum is a very good allround forum. You get the odd thread that gets out of control (flame wars), but this is no surprise. But all in all it's the best Ive been on personally. Hope you get the same out of it too.
Well, by now I should imagine you are undergoing or have undergone your removal of the three fillings? Well I can only hope it's going or has gone ok and it'll be interesting to see how you feel after it. At least you are going about it as carefully as you can. Cannot recall what replacement materials you are getting? I often ask people the same thing more than once considering my memory is up the pole.
I'm surprised you can eat fish with no reaction. Fish is healthy dont get me wrong, it's just the mercury contamination that is a big concern now. You definitely dont want to add anymore to the toxicity, but I'm sure you know your own body pretty well. For me, I tend to get sicker if I consume seafood over time (and that's in New Zealand where we apparently have the least mercury in our fish). I am sensitive to the stuff though as well.
I eat a lot of chicken, beef (liver as well and lamb. Love it and hasn't seem to have done me any harm. It is the majority of my diet because I can't consume fruit or grain or high carb vegetables. So i'm somewhat limited in what I get to consume.
Like yourself, my life also revolves around my diet and yep, one thing done wrong and I'm down for the count and it's DAYS AND DAYS of it until I notice any remote lifting. NOt good. I suspect it's just ongoing immune system challenge that is causing my body to be this suseptible and weak. I dont know half the time what is doing what or whether it's allergy or toxicity or my body is just doing its thing and being ill regardless. I hate it, but that's the way it is.
And yeah it can take me similar timing to get through symptoms (5 - 6 days or more). So I dont know why that should be, but perhaps the gut takes this long to begin recovering from something. So I know what you mean and can empathise with that. I hope that amalgam removal for you will eventually get rid of these ongoing issues permanently or at least after enough chelation.
Like the sound of the baths you have . I dont tend to have them much these days, probalby should be I actually hardly sweat. So when I try, I get worse without really acheiving anything. I actually hate bathing now, yet used to love it. I used to sweat the toxins out through the skin and get rashes. In doing that, over time I started to get better and better. This was when my body was actually halfway functioning and I was able to detox. Now it's a different story.
Thanks for the link to help me achieve the "lickle fluffy lambs" softness lol. I may well try that sometime. Feels kind of tragic to pour apple cider vinegar into the bath though.. I used to like drinking it with hot water (dont now becuase i tend to get reactions). But again I just feel too sick in the bath to remain in there long anyway, even when i dont have it that hot. So I feel a little like these things would be wasted!
Anyway, catch you on the other side as you said.
