i was wondering if i have managed to re infect my self by wearing clothes that i havent worn since before i did a cleanse. my symtoms cleared up but now have reappeared. how long can parasites or bacteria surive outside the body? it has probably been a couple of mopnths since i wore the clothes...i will now have to do another cleanse but am worried about the damage caused by wormwood to the brain/kidneys. so i also wanted to ask if the wormwood in the 'all in one' Black-Walnut /wormwood/cloves tincture is harmful at all? thanks all.
It is my understanding that some parasite eggs and cysts can live indefinitely outside the body. They can be found floating in air and water. They also lay pockets of eggs in your body, that can hatch out after you've done a cleanse. It's very important to cleanse regularly, just like we deworm our pets and livestock. It's also important to strengthen the immune systems. Otherwise parasites will come back and make you sick again. They will come back, regardless. But if your immune system is strong and you are deworming regularly, you won't get nearly as sick as you will if you do nothing to protect yourself.
As for me, I'm a lot more worried about incurring brain and kidney damage from parasitical infection than from the herbs I take to combat them. I have been cleansing my body for four years. I take periodic breaks, but if I stop cleansing for more than thirty days, the disease comes back. It hits me hard and fast. It quickly became apparent to me early on that I had to stay on top of things, and keep my body pure if I wanted to stay alive and feel good. I go for a very deep cleanse to keep my parasite load minimal, and have very few compared to most of the people I know, who won't even want to acknowledge they have them.
Of course, if you try to talk about deworming to people who are in denial, they either think you are crazy, or become afraid they are going to catch them from you. It's ironic. The reason I am compelled to tell people about parasite cleansing is because they are obviously infected, and I don't want to catch anything from them.
In order to reach the parasites hiding in the deepest tissues and recesses of my body, I do not hesitate to take a whole lot more than the recommended dose of most products (except bloodroot). I always start with a low dose, smaller than recommended, and increase until I feel/get results. Results means die-off and elimination.
I am convinced that it is our bodies that are toxic, not herbs. If the body is clean and pure, it utilizes anti-parastical herbs like super potent nutritional supplements designed by nature to support and enhance the immune system. It feels to me like the herbs I take are fine tuning my body's defenses. If a person is extremely toxic (has a large parasite load), taking anti-parasitical herbs will cause major die off symptoms. A large amount of ammonia and other poisons are released into the system. If you kill too many of them off too quickly, you can damage yourself. It is important to start with a very small dose and slowly build up.
It is also important to eliminate them if you get constipated when you take the anti-parasitical herbs. Constipation keeps the eggs inside the host, until they have time to hatch out, so they can continue colonizing. Bowel, kidney, gall bladder, liver and blood cleansing protocols are an essential part of the process, too. You have to eliminate the dead parasites, the poison their rotting carcasses emit, and the eggs they've laid.
Glaxony, that's a very good post on "how long can parasites live outside body". Just wondering if you can answer this question. Do Ascaris worms have a particular life tenure _ do they live up to a certain amount of years and then naturally die or can they live forever if the conditions are there??? There's a large on in me which just can't seem to leave me despite trying for so long. I will continue to try though.
I am generally freaked out (respectfully of course) to many of the posts from all of you...glaxony especially. Are we all at risk on such a high level?? I do not do any over seas traveling in fact I am never outside of the country. I am not an adventurous eater I stick to the basics and I never eat raw fish or undercooked meat. I have three kids...and I feel like there little bellies must be full if parasites, my husband and I as well. Doctors think i am a nut...I am sure others can relate. If you have or had kids how would you handle this? My kids are always knee deep in dirt or swimming in the lake and we have two outside cats, and they are barefoot half the time. I can't get them to take vitamins without a fight. What do I do or what should I give them daily. How do you cleanse a baby?? I refuse to waist my $$ on health insurance when I feel like it may actually be death insurance...so I don't have that...and finding a homeopath in my area is hard. Okay a bit of a ramble...but does anyone have the same concerns or know what to do??
People with compromised immune systems are much more vulnerable to parasites. In that case, they will make you very sick rather quickly if you don't do something about them.
If you are a relatively healthy person, your immune system will take care of (the majority of) them, and you will most likely live to a ripe old age, before they start to get out of hand. If you have health insurance, the doctors will prescribe anti-biotics to keep them in check. You don't have to worry about them unless they are making you sick, and you don't have any health insurance, or the medicine you get from the doctor doesn't work.
If I had a kid with pinworms, I'd make herbal suppositories by mixing coconut oil with powdered anti-parasitical herbs, and teach my child how to insert them to relieve the itching. I'd probably use a product like Humaworm quarterly as a preventative. If my child came down with a bacterial infection, I'd give him goldenseal and plenty of probiotics. I would not become overly obsessive about deworming relatively healthy children. There is no reason for it.
When I write my posts, I am primarily talking to people like me. I got very ill, felt my life was in danger, and that I needed to go for a deep cleanse.
I had pinworms when I was a kid. I know how miserable that can be. As an adult, I got hemmorrhoids. I beleive the two are related.
Kids with pinworms need relief from rectal itching. Keep suppositories in the freezer, and they will most like use them up. You might want to rotate herbs every few months. Throw something new into the formula once in a while. There are hundreds of herbs with anti-parasitical qualities. Do a search, make a list, look for them at the health food store, keep a variety on hand. Make capsules for them to take too. Start with a small amount and slowly increase, as always.
Keep fresh sheets on the beds if you notice they are using the suppositories. Explain to them that if the suppository makes them poop, they need to insert another one after pooping.
Inserting a scored clove of sprouted garlic will also relieve the itching, but it will make stink farts. Feed them food cooked with garlic, onions and ginger. If their immune systems are strong, and their butt doesn't itch, they are probably not infected. Don't worry about it.
I would make sure your kids get to enjoy natural probiotic type foods like yogurt, Kefir milk sweetned with fruit and Stevia for example--, raw sauerkraut to help keep up the good bacteria in the digestive tract. This will become invaluable for them after any time they are forced to get an antibiotic (which kills good bacteria and can set the average person up for future parasite infections)
I would also discourage them to ever get a Metal tooth filling in thier mouths. Pay the extra $ and allow them Composite/porcelain fillings instead. Methyl mercury that vaporizes from these fillings also destroys good gut bacteria and parasites , bad bacteria and viruses tend to cling to areas where mercury deposits in the body.
Methyl mercury from tooth fillings slowly deposits over time into sinus cavities, and eventually into the rest of the body and digestive tract--- and colon, which is a major breeding area for parasites. Before I had my metal fillings replaced at 42 years-old, I had sinus parasites constantly and bloody sinuses.
raw pineapple after meals, raw papaya, etc.. will do wonders for thier digestive tracts and keep the bowel movements flowing so that if they do happen to ingest parasite eggs, they will have no time to hatch in the body.
Your children should be hydrated with raw fruit juices and water in between meals . Do not give them soda any longer. All sodas not only stunt bone growth by leaching out calcium-- they also create Benzene in the body --which guess what?... encourages many parasites to grow to full stage and breed in the human body, which would normally only live to larvea stage and die.
Also, last but not least, do not be overly worried about them possibly contacting parasites. A good once or twice a year herbal deworming is healthy for them, you as parents, and your household pets.
Their immune systems seem adapted to their environment, so they may have developed a resistance to many of these parasites. Once they are forced to take medical anti-biotics, and made to use anti-bacterial cleansers, etc, this natural resistance to bad bugs and bacteria dies and they are left vulnerable. This is the reason I will not use anti-bacterial soaps.
I have never really allowed my children to drink soda...they like the taste but feel sick to their tummies after they drink it (at birthdays and such normally). They tend to eat well just picky with veggies and such...raw fruit juices are a good idea. So far kids have had no cavities at their checkups...I recently had all of my amalgom(spelling?) fillings removed...it did wonders for my mouth, breath and I really feel better, less headaches and such...I only had them removed because they were rather ugly but I really have noticed a change in day to day life.
I feel better now...I thank you!!!
I certainly understand and have the same concerns after myself, husband, and two toddler grandkids developed giardia two years ago and were treated. We've been sick ever since and dr.s say that albendazole should have killed anything that we may have been infested with. I'm not convinced, sick all last school year, constant sinus problems, and odd symptoms. I need some help too and drs. won't really listen especially if some test shows nothing. I only had good luck with the first doctor because he's spent a lot of time in Africa and caught all sorts of stuff himself. Thanks to this forum I know what thins to purchase but so far have only experimented on myself, but i know that my family has something that is not right.
I read somewhere that the life span of an Ascaris worm is between 2 and 5 years. But the females also lay hundreds of thousands of eggs every day. You eliminate most of them, of course, but rarely all, as they are stuck to your insides nestled in the mucous nests they build. They make diverticuli pockets in your intestines, and seal them off, so the anti-parasitical herbs can't get to them. That is why you have to keep going back and deworming the hatchlings. The eggs won't hatch out until the mother worm is dead, because she puts off a hormone to keep them dormant. It is very important to follow up with another cleanse after killing off a big mother worm because there may be oogles of hatchlings waiting to take her place. If you wait too long, the hatchlings will have time to start mating and laying eggs, and your illness could increase exponentially, very quickly, especially if you are someone with a compromised immune system, like me.
I am not a doctor or a parasite scientist. This is just what I've learned in my struggle to to stay alive.
Except the part that Ascaris live 2 years, nothing is true. The laid eggs have to be in contact of moist, wed, shaded soil before they become infective so, no, the eggs laid by Ascaris inside me don't hatch in the body itself.
They need to become infective and then swallowed through contaminated food or water by another person, where they become infective.
composting toilets produce a whole lot of rich lovely soil that is filled with worms
are you saying the colon isn't shady, wet and moist enough, or the poop in your body doesn't have the right chemistry for Ascaris eggs to hatch out? If you left it in composting barrels for a long time, could Ascaris hatch out???
are you saying that people have to eat already hatched out worms in order to get ascaris? wouldn't chewing them kill them?
i did a parasite cleanse one time and several globs of worms came out of me. They looked kind of like the moss balls that grow on oak trees, but they were white, yellow and orange. One was nearly as big as my fist.
where do they come from? did I eat baby worms in contaminated fruit? just curious because you seem to know a lot. are you a parasitologist? where did you learn this?
I wouldnt think all of them could live indefinately outside the body, because doesnt oxygen kill them? Ive always thought they [at least some of the worms] couldnt survive in oxygen, thats why some people have had luck with oxygen enriching supplements like Colosan?
I believe it is a two weeks up to 20 days without human contact. If you dont want to wash or sterilize the items...I was told to put my clothes, pillows, toys or whatever in a black garbage bag, seal it tight with tape and let them sit for 2 weeks untouched and that would kill off any eggs. Im not sure if this goes for all parasites but it worked for pinworms. Also, try wearing a mask when changing the sheets and mop and vaccum often. I also wash underpants seperately and add boiling pot of water to the washer in addition to the hot cycle on the machine, bleach when possible.
One man's cure is another's poison so take my advice with a grain of salt peter, but I've taken a gob of green Black-Walnut hull, wormwood and cloves and I have Hep C which damages the liver. But I've never had any problems with liver, kidney or brain damage from taking any herbs.
Personally I think it's a myth and Nature knows what she is doing. You are much safer using herbal remedies than prescription drugs, which undoubtedly cause organ damage, or they wouldn't include a list of contra-indications as long as your arm with the package insert.
I've been deworming regularly around the full moon for years and I sometimes go for a really deep cleanse, which means I take a lot higher dose than is recommended on the bottle. The last time I checked, which was recently, the doctors said my kidneys were really strong.
What makes you think herbs cause this damage you are worried about? Such fear may be overly cautious. Or is there unnecessary paranoia spreading around for some reason? Maybe somebody else knows something I don't.
But organ damage is not something I would worry about at all and blame any of the herbs that are used for cleansing parasites. If anything the opposite is true and they protect your body and prevent what you are worried about, especially if used early enough. On the other hand...
They may stimulate cleansing of parasites out of the organs, which, if left in place, would continue to do some damage. And, if you have a lot of parasites in your brain and they are so big that a dose of wormwood doesn't' kill them, but they wake up and get restless and start moving around trying to find another place to nest in an effort to get away from the poison, you might feel them scrambling around inside of you.
When that happens, it is pretty darn creepy. That is why a lot of people would rather just leave them alone, remain in denial, take pain killers and die. But to me it is even creepier knowing they are in there breeding and laying eggs and all. Other people are very good at denial. They would rather say that it's the wormwood making them hallucinate and it might cause brain damage to continue, than face the fact that they have a worm in their head moving around.
To each his/her own. I'm not going to blame it on the herb while a worm does brain damage to me. It is pretty clear what kind of damage will be done if you leave them in place. They are eating you alive. That is why you feel so terrible. But if you stir them up so much it starts scrambling around, I guess it could scramble your brains. But lets not blame it on the herb that could have prevented all this.
We deworm our cats. We deworm our dogs. We deworm the life stock. We should be deworming ourselves and our children too. And that would prevent this discussion. And I am sure you can get anti-psychotic drugs for thinking so, much easier than you can get enough albendazole to kill a nest of worm and all the hatchlings that will emerge if the mothers die off.
