.Educated dentists say don't get root canals, because they give bacteria lots of places to hide in tiny bone and tooth pores where they initiate systemic infection throughout the body that suppresses the immune system and thus permits disease to take off in many parts of the body. Dr. George Meinig, a dentist, wrote root canal Coverup on that subject. Dr. Mercola [ mercola.com ] works with a dentist who agrees with Dr. Meinig.
.Oil mouth rinsing for ten minutes once a day or more, definitely stops such infections. I had 3 or 4 abscessed teeth for over ten years and couldn't find any treatment to penetrate to my tooth roots to end the infections. That's until I learned on the net about OP. I've been doing it with coconut oil for almost 2 months now and the infections were pretty much knocked out after a few weeks. My gums are no longer tender and no longer bleed from brushing. In fact those results occurred within 4 or 5 days after I started OP. I also no longer get my weekly severe headaches.
.I don't see the advantage of getting a tooth extracted either. With OP, decay and infection don't spread.
Thanks so much for the info! I should have been clearer, I certainly don't plan on getting a root canal. My dentist wants me to go to a endodonist for a second opinion and so tha I can really be educated before I decide on not getting a root canal...supposedly she's the best around and uses material and a procedure that eliminates all bacteria (lol). I don't understand how OP can eliminate all bacteria in a deep cavity though. I guess that's what scares me, I don't want to mess around with it, ya know:)
