You should use the powdered cayenne in your lemonade. I also bought the liquid extract when I was doing the master cleanse. I used the powder in my lemonades (organic cayenne - highest HU you can find). Organic cayenne REALLY tastes a lot better than the grocery store stuff. I got up to 1/4 teaspoon per drink. I mixed the cayenne extract in a glass of water and drank that a few times per day. I used 15 drops per glass of water. Doing this not only helped me to increase my daily water intake but it also gave me tremendous energy.
When I initially bought the extract/tincture, I posted about it here too. If you are clever with your search words, you may be able to find that post and the response I got. I think it was Zoebess that told me not to use the tincture in my lemonades. This was some time in March I think. I'd look it up for you, but I just don't have too much time right now. In Zoe's response, she explained her reasoning a lot better than I have. It was my idea to use the cayenne in water though. I figured it would be okay (even though nothing is mentioned in the book about doing this) and I actually enjoyed it. Inceasing your cayenne and your water is advised and this worked for me.
I became the Cayenne Freak while on the Master Cleanse. Although I didn't actually win the title, I think there have been several people on this forum who could wear the title proudly. (DETOUR!, etc...)
