My husband just came up to me to show me all the brown hair in his sideburns. They used to be completely gray. And once he pointed that out, I took a good look at the rest of his head and could see that there is a lot less gray hair over-all. We guess it took a while to notice because it happened so gradually. He claims I have less gray hair, also. He even said he had been meaning to ask me if I started coloring my hair! I've been pulling for 6 months; he has been pulling for about 4 months. For this alone, I will continue to pull. We're grateful there are so many other benefits as well: sounder sleep, clear skin, healthy gums, joints no longer stiff and sore, sweeter breath and white, white teeth. The fountain of youth flows with oil!
Coconut oil and virgin olive oil. I live in Mexico where the oil options are limited. I would be interested to hear that others are experiencing diminishing gray with other types of oil.
Since we had this "gray" conversation this afternoon, I have gone to the mirror...oh...5 or 6 or 12 times to admire my newly darker hair. :) I would say I have about 50% less gray, and I used to be about 50% gray overall.
It's hard to say...we both have dark hairs that are gray to the roots. We both have short hair. I'll start paying better attention and see if the gray continues to lessen, or if we have reached the maximum the oil is capable of doing.
