Has anyone ever heard of crystallized spots on the lungs? My husbands
aunt was having a chest x-ray before having a large colon polyp removed
surgically and they just found hundreds of crystallized spots on her
lungs. She went to a specialist today and he said he's never seen anything
like this. They're going to biopsy it Wednesday to see what they find.
(The polyp was just found in a routine colonoscopy and was too large to
remove during the test)
I've done a quick search on the web to try to give her some answers, but
found nothing. Anyone have any knowledge of crystallized spots on the lung?
I don't know if this is the same thing or not, but in 1995 I had some x-rays done on my lungs and there were dozens of white spots. My doctor said they were calcium deposits. They are a way the body stores excess and unusable calcium. The doctor said they are generally harmless, although they are often found in people who develop asthma as adults. My theory is that I drank very hard spring water for over twenty years; and the calcium deposits were caused from that. I now use home distilled water, some I mineralized, but most I drink as is. It seems to be helping some of my stiff swollen joints and the winter time wheezing spells. I have not had any more x-rays to my lungs to see if things have improved, and frankly don't want any more x-rays unless its a life and death situation. I think I have had more than enough already.
I have a calcium deposit and found out early 2006. It hurts due to it's location if I breathe too deep. I was told that it happened because I had too many sodas (4 a day) causing a high blood phosphorous level. Phosphorous needs calcium to neutralize it...so it leached the calcium from my bones. I've also developed osteoporasis (sp?) in the mid back. I'm trying to reduce my soda so that I can quit. I'm way addicted. I have to continue getting yearly xrays to make sure the deposits are not growing.
I'd love to know if you've learned anymore about the condition. I did learn that an enzyme in grapefruit attaches to calcium and shuttles it out. Not sure how to spell it pshycillic acid is the ingredient.
Many times when the organs of the body are discolored, this is an indication that this organ of the body has become too Acidic from a Lack of the needed Alkaline Minerals needed to keep it Healthy !
And the Greatest culprit of Causing this problem in the body may be Excess Proteins which the body is not able to get rid of, thus Causing these Different organs of the body to become too Acidic, thus become Dis-colored !
I remember many years ago when I learned about this from some Wise old men who worked in a slaughter house and the Meat Inspector would then Condem the Rest of the meat from the animal, when certain organs of the body were Dis-colored !
The Wise old Veterinarian who lived at that time may have mentioned that when the animals were short of the needed Alkaline Minerals that the animals would become Sick like this ?
I believe most of todays folks have forgotten these Wise instructions from the old school of understanding !
But, for some Reason, it seems that now days they keep this Diseased Meat to supply the HamBuger and Fast Food joints ?
