I was wondering if it would be safe to do a Liver Flush if you have severe candida and leaky gut?
I have bad brainfog (dizzy) and have had relief from coffee enemas, but feel sick in the gut afters and pass alot of mucus in every enema I have after, I feel extremly toxic and dizzy(brain fog) when this mucus is sitting in my colon and feel I have to keep taking enemas, to get it out.
Also after my first liver flush, although I felt good in morning the next day, I then felt more and more toxic and developed dark cirles around eyes in the days after, brainfog, ringing & fluid in ears, fatigue worse than I had before.
I was hoping Jhan and Remi may reply as you seem to know alot about Candida. And anyone else who has any ideas, I would appreciate to hear.
I am not knowledgeable about liver flush. I do not really believe in them and I have not done one. Jhan is your girl for that info.
What I can tell you is that the symptoms you mention are classic candida. Recently I have had bouts of ear ringing...very annoying. It almost knocks me off balance.
I really believe that candida starts in the intestines and that what I aim all my treatment at. Enemas, are a great thing , flushing out toxins and debris. They have helped me a great deal.
I do not know your treatment regimen, but also keep in mind that coffee enemas are harsh and from what I understand they work like a liver flush. You could be stiring up more than you bargained for and you might need to start off a little slower.
To help with brain fog dizziness
drink lots of water with seas salt added to taste.
vitamin b5 panthothenic acid
magnesium ( and calcium)
plain water enemas work very well and will not force more toxins into the bowel.
Psyllium is great for bowel cleansing, but I just read that psyllium can actually stir things up in the intestines causing and intitial toxic strema to be absorbed by your intestines until the debrsi settles down. kind of like sweeping the floor with a broom, alot of dust gets stirred up before the floor gets cleaned. Same principal. And that makes sense to me now.
Tyhe idea here is to get the bowel clean first before introducing more toxins like those from the liver during a liver flush. If you Liver Flush the liver supposedly flushed out toxins into the bowel and these toxins ahve no where to go but add to the toxic load.
Thankyou for you advice. I have posted some photos of the Mucus/Candida I have passed in the Candida Forum section. They look simliar to the ones you have posted. If you or anyone has any input on them I would love to hear as I am desperate, as many of you are to heal myself.
Could you have a sinus/bronchial infection? (i.e., a bacterial infecttion, which would need to be treated with antibiotics.) I'm not a doctor, but it really looks like you might have a lot of white blood cells in your mucus, which might indicate a bacterial infection.
i did a some Liver Flushes last year and did not have your severe reaction. i would suggest that instead of doing those just yet you should a really good liver support fomula. sandra cobalt has an extremely good one (she wrote the liver cleansing book) high in vits minerals, and stuff for liver. it is a goood product i have used it. when i did Liver Flushes the next day i always had a greeen drink i.e. spiralina and heaps of homemade yogurt to repopulate. that night i also had a very hot bath with seasalt, baking soda, and apple cidar vinager to help remove some toxins. so if u do proceed with more liver flushes try that to see if it helps. all the best
I have leaky gut and I do just fine with LFs. The FIRST LFs are the worst and will turn your whole being upside down because of the huge toxic realease. It will get better the more you do them. It is very very important that you get the toxins out of you ASAP up to three days after the LF. Do enemas daily 3 days after the LF, each morning. The take a fiber shake to trap the rest of the toxins.
"Also after my first liver flush, although I felt good in morning the next day, I then felt more and more toxic and developed dark cirles around eyes in the days after, brainfog, ringing & fluid in ears, fatigue worse than I had before."
This is toxins being reabsorbed and re-circulating in your blodstream and since it's your first Liver-Flush this is rather normal. Dark circles under eyes is dehydration and kidneys issue. The kidneys take a lot during the LFs, thats why it is advised to do a kidney cleanse after 4-5 LF's. You must drink alot of water, but don't forget to add some salt so the water (preferably unrefined, grey Sea Salt ) to absorb the water better. (Water cure)
Liver Flushes release a lot of toxins and literally sweeps everything out in there, both good and bad bacteria get hit by the toxins. Some people have seen candida being eliminated efter the flush, some do not. But be prepared to experience a slight candida flare up since you become very toxic after a flush and candida thrives in toxic environment.
Just clean clean clean those bowels before and after the flush, try to eat some kefir to replenish the good bacteria, drink lots of veggie juices and you'll be fine. HUGE amounts of vitamins and minerals are being robbed from you after a flush, the body uses everything it has in store to neutralise the toxins that are being released. If you fail to fill up with minerals after the flushes you will feel very weak and your ailments can become worse. People (and me) have had good success by using moreless alkalizing protocol during cleanses and have found that the cleanses are even more effective and people feel very energized. His idea is pretty much to eat an alkaline diet, drink a alkalizing drink by his recipe and re-mineralize. Very very important to get those minerals back to your body! You can remineralise in many ways, by juicing veggies you will do you body tons of good! :)

When you get that much mucous that means irritation. The gut produces mucous to protect itself. People with candida and parasites will have lots of mucous since these critters are very irritating to the body. Over time the mucous becomes toxic if it sits there. Mucous is made of protein and the body should be able to break it down after a while. But if it fails to do so /weak immune system) It sits there and grows old and that is toxic. Maybe the coffee enemas are a little harsh for you right now?
The fact that you have relief from brain fog after an coffee enema suggests that your liver is very overloaded. If you continue do Liver-Flush you will do your liver tons of good.
You just have to do a Bowel Cleanse parallell to the Liver Flushes ase these organs go hand in hand. The liver dumps toxins into the colon, and the colon sends these toxins back to the liver if they aren't exited quickly.
Leaky gut and the inflamation in the intestines it implies allow stuff that would normally pass into the stool to get into the body. The intestinal wall is actaully a protection that will select carefully what is passing into the bloodstream.
While doing a Liver Flush you are flushing out a lot of junk... you want it out, not back into your body which is really counterproductive.
With leaky gut you should do coffee enemas (and avoid other enemas) some people even say that you should avoid supplementing in friendly bacteria (probiotics)because they are very helpful in the gut, but rahter harmful in the body itself.
At this point, following the diet and healing the inflamation of the gut is the priority.
You should suppl. in
Magnesium (plenty) and vitamin B complex
Antioxydants: zinc, vit C 500mg x4/day, vit. E, selenium, vit A (cod liver oil)
Omega 3 : extra virgin olive oil, fish oil
In my opinion you should first heal the leak, second do the P & B shakes and only then do the Liver Flushes (which are indeed really helpful).
Dark circle around the eyes is a sign that your liver is really struggling, so it seems that the flush has made life more difficult for your liver rather than help.
Let's face it, the liver cleanses the blood. With the leaky gut plenty of toxins and bacteria that would normally remain in the intestines get access to the bloodstream, the liver must take care of that mess and it is a great weight for it... it is already overworked with candida, it does not need the extra work due to the flush. Liver flush are not the solution yet. Be aware that coffee enemas are just FANTASTIC for both leaky gut and the liver.
There is absolutely NO PROBLEM in doing an enema a day (although it is time consuming), it is really helpful for your liver and thus to reduce toxicity.
Candida is drilling into the intestinal walls. Many people use Oxypowder to cleanse the bowel with the result that they cleanse everything BUT candida. Psyllium is great in that it will adhere tothe candida threads and drag them out.
Still you are not there yet, first you must ease the leak.
Thankyou for all replies.
I think I will hold off on the liver flush, as I think it would be too much for me. I have been taking UltraMag magnesium supplement and I find that without it my quality of life is even worse with terrible headaches, muscles twiches and pain.
I will try B5, lecithin for my brain fog, dizziness as it is by far the worst aspect of my health.
I hope I have beaten the most of the Candida as I have been on strict meat & veg diet for 4 months with various anti-fungals during periods and passed a lot of mucus/candida! But unfortunalty am still feeling worse than when I started diet, but
I will continue with the healthy candida diet and supplements with the faith that my health will slowly improve.
