Every time I have sex, his sperm is irritating my vagina and I have worse symptoms of itchiness and bad odor. I have some sort of fungal infection. I suspect I got it from my husband as I have it since we are married (6 years) When I went to the obgyn for checkup he thought it was yeast infection by mere listening to my complain. He never tested it in lab. Back then I had no rash but now I have slight rash, and my vagina looks red and irritated. I refuse to do sex until I am healed and my husband as well to be free of whatever is it can be transmitted to me.
My husband used to have fungal rash in his genitals and his feet. He forgot about treating it before we were married, and forgot about avoiding sex until it was healed. He used some conventional cream (Loprox Gel) on his feet and his genitals and the fungal infection was gone. (6 years ago)
but now he has fungal infection in his feet again. The bad odor from his feet is similiar to the bad odor in my vagina.
I need help, this is realy irritating me! I wonder if I will use achidophilus pills or tea tree oil or coconut oil, what if HIS sperm is irritating me?
I am new to this group also. My husband and I of 15 years struggle with much the same problem. I was married prior and never had a problem like this. Once a year visits to my Obgyn for regular check ups, that was it. My gyn once thought it was because I had long periods, to much bleeding, warmth, bacteria........... I have had a hyterectomy and the problem continues. My husband foot doctor said his fungus on his feet is most likely systemic, and this can possibly be passed to me sexually. My husband has been on many antifungal, with nothing helping. My husband also has an itch. We have spoken to many doctors from the beginning of our marriage, to no resolve. With me it goes from bacteria, yeast, and even in extreme a mix of both fungal, baterial, and then a bladder infection to make things worse. Sex that should be so wonderful is not fun anymore, the results afterwards are just not worth the itching, irritation, odor, and frustration. We have tryed many things, herbs, probiotic, antibiotics, cream. Still nothing helping. I would love to have answers.
This is so difficult. This was a great thread to read. I have also done boric acid suppositories, probiotic suppositories, tea tree oil, and tryed candida cleanse, even parasite cleanses incase I was missing something. Nothing has resolved the issues. I am getting desparate, and as I age more and more, I guess in a few years it just won't matter, LOL!!!!
I know my GYN has talked to me about cutting out all sugar, but she said we would have to both do this for it to work. I have talked to my husband about trying this route, it would just be hard for him. He is a hard working construction worker, and going on a yeast curing diet just wouldn't work for him. I know our doctor said 6 months of this type of diet and it should work both on yeast and bacteria because the Sugar feeds both of these problems. I tryed it for 6 months, I lost 20 pds which was needed but the itching is still a problem. She also spoke to me about staying in the hospital for a length of time having a IV drip of vitamin C. I didn't think to ask questions about that, but I would be willing to give it a try. Interesting you talked about a zapper. My husband got a machine that is very similar to a zapper for his bad knee, it allows electric current into an area of damage using batteries. I tryed it over my liver last year and passed stones. It does work. I had just done a parasite cleanse also, so I had no parasites to kill at the time by zapping them. I know that the zapper can work for all kinds of aliments. Ok, since we are being so honest here, does anyone else itch all the way back to the rectum also? I do. This is not pinworms, it is just an itch. I hate this problem.
I itch too all the way to the rectum. The way to use the zapper to kill all parasites is to attach the zapper to the hands, by holding it in both hands. one hand hold the positive current, and the other hand hold the negative current. Get an emergency blanket that is lined with aluminum. get wrapped in it. put towel between the hands and the cover so they don't touch the cover. Also avoid touching your hands with each other, as it can cause elecrtity shock. get the zapper on and be wrapped for 3 minutes. they claim it kills all parasites and candida.
Interestingly, my husband is also a construction worker. Maybe this is the toxicity of the construction chemicals? My husband gets better if he takes vitamin C ascorbate: 1/2 teaspoon of vitamin C powder + 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda. pour water on it. let it fizz until it ceases to fizz. Fill up the cup at least 6 oz. drink it 2 - 3 times a day. Also CoQ enzyme 10, a good multivitamin and chlorella (to remove heavy metals) if my husband takes them his dandruff on his head and beard and ears gets better. (but he didn't try the zapper as we have to get it + the blanket)
Thank you so much for this information. I am going to share this with my husband also. There are alot of toxins in construction. My husband also welds and is inhaling all the fumes. He does take daily activated charaol to clear toxins and milk thistle to support the liver. I will try to get him on the daily vitamin c and baking soda and see if that doesn't address the other problems.
I have successfully used Vitamin C to treat my BV. I get uncoated Vitamin C tablets and use them occasionally vaginally. I say "successfully treat" because it does eliminate the symptoms of itching and odor for awhile. If the BV is so bad that I am irritated and itching then the Vitamin C burns, and I have had people tell me (as I am writing a blog about all of this http://curezone.com/blogs/m.asp?f=247&i=20
that the Vitamin C treatment has caused them to have a blood-streaked discharge.
I suspect that is because it is very acidic and when inserted in the vagina, doesn't really move around much until it dissovles, so maybe irritates that one area until it dissolves. I don't know.
I have also used hydrogen peroxide douches and this works to immediately neutralize the odor. I can also tell the difference as to how much "bad" and "good" bacteria is present by how much bubbling effect there is with the Hydrogen peroxide... but again, if I am already very irritated and itching then the hydrogen peroxide burns.
Just recently I have used gynecort cream on the vulvar area because the itching and burning were very bad, and then used RePhresh Gel to try and return the vaginal Ph to what it should be, and this is just a temporary fix too.
