Simply, the father is talking to his begotten son.
If Jesus, his begotten son, was only a man, how is it possible that He existed way back in Genesis 3:22? Zechariah 12:1 tells us,
1The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
The bold portion of this text tells us that God forms our spirit within us, that means within our body. Our body does not begin to form until conception. Jesus' body was not conceived until 4000 years, give or take, after Genesis 3:22 occured, so, if Jesus was merely a man, not divine, how is it possible that He existed way back in the beginning?
John 8:57,58 "then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,BEFORE ABRAHAM ,I WAS."
Proverbs 8:22-31 From of old I was poured forth, at the first, before the earth. When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no fountains or springs of water; Before the mountains were settled into place, before the hills, I was brought forth;While as yet the earth and the fields were not made, nor the first clods of the world."When he established the heavens I was there, when he marked out the vault over the face of the deep;
When he made firm the skies above, when he fixed fast the foundations of the earth:When he set for the sea its limit, so that the waters should not transgress his command; Then was I beside him as his craftsman, and I was his delight day by day, Playing before him all the while,playing on the surface of his earth; and I found delight in the sons of men."
Philippians 2:8,9: "And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name"
So; Before coming to earth, Jesus was a spirit in heaven living with his father. That is why Jesus is reffered to as "the one who was sent"......because he was sent from heaven to earth to act as God's word or messenger.
...and formeth the spirit of man within him. Zechariah 12:1 KJV
This verse tells us that the spirit is formed within man's body. If Jesus was only a man, then it is impossible for His spirit to have existed before His conception inside Mary, his mother. The only way Jesus could exist in the beginning, is if He is divine, unless the verse, listed above, is untrue.
what kind of funky book are you getting this out of?
here is what you left out of your thinking:
Isa 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me;
Isa 46:10 declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done; saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure;
everything is already done, including all the people exist.
Jer 1:4 Now the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee; I have appointed thee a prophet unto the nations.
according to your logic, this makes jeremiah god as well!!!
Ecc 1:9 That which hath been is that which shall be; and that which hath been done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
Ecc 1:10 Is there a thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been long ago, in the ages which were before us.
you misunderstand even the fundamentals of reality. you certainly misunderstand the scriptures, and so does whoever it is you have been listening to. i suggest you give them the trump treatment - youre fired!
eloihim is not the father. the best translation of that would be gods(little 'g'), or i prefer heavenly beings. either way, it does not signify the father, either alone or all inclusive. it is a plural word. you can thank king james for your confusion.
