Is there a particular rationale to the timing beyond the eating and lying down part of it? I'm quite sure that I will be extremely nauseated from this procedure the 1st few times and coping with nausea is easier for me during the day when I can distract myself while lying still. Trying to sleep while feeling overwhelming nausea is a surefire route to actual vomiting for me and I'd rather not lose a whole nights sleep if it's not absolutely necessary. Anyone had any experience/success with this?
Nope, not necessary, just make sure to start the no-fat diet earlier, the day before, so the bile can build up in the gallbladder. I just did my 4th flush, very successful, and started at 2pm instead of 6pm.
Yep,i had some messed up sleep cycles in the past few months and have done the flush while totally awake all night.I watched TV all night since i could not sleep and had just as good of a flush as other times.I think the reason its suggested to do at night is so you can sleep through the discomfort.
