I've never used an inversion table, but have thought they would be very beneficial. How is it working out for you? Would you recommend it? I have Lymphedema (swelling in one of my legs) and elevating my legs is helpful. I would think the inversion table would be great. It's just a matter of room to put it! haha
sorry for the delay i forgot i posted this message!
yes, it's pretty gentle, even the first few seconds i tried it i was elated. i had to have one. you don't have to stay upside down you can teeter totter and get blood flowing that way or do sit ups (my arms are too short to reach the handles unless i do a crunch all the way up but it's fun - even though i'm sick and bloated i still have muscles from my ballet days)... i'd recommend it bcse it definately gets your blood flowing and helps align your spine & organs which gravity tends to move & prolapse..
i got mine at a sporting goods store for 200$ (as opposed to the $400 at a local backstore).
