Ok, well I have started my first week and I am feeling very tired and sore all over. I went 2 times and had to cancel Fridays appointement after feeling so tired. I have Weak legs and arms. My spine is sore all the way down (stiff like)...I feel like I've lifted a ton of weights.
Anyone eles experience this? If so at what point in the therapy did this occure, and did it go away, did you feel better then ever after a while?
Also I've had weird pains in my head and feel dizzy...very light headed when standing up. anyone????
(please only answer if you've experienced this or know what this is....please do not guess at it as it will only make me paranoid about going. LOL I need to know fact.) Thank you. :)
I'm not a chiropractor or in the health field, but I would definitely go back and talk to the chiropractor asap about this.
The sore part is basically just unused/misused muscles complaining about being brought back into action - like playing tennis for the 1st time in years. For my husband, that pain mainly passed after 3 or 4 adjustments. I was in such pain before seeing my doctor I honestly didn't notice the aches after adjustment, but my doctor warned me that I may feel them.
Why did you start at a chiropractor and what did they find at the original diagnosis? Do you have any other health issues that could be causing the symptoms?
Most importantly, what does your chiropractor say about the tiredness, weakness, and dizzyness?
These are definitely conditions/reactions that the chiropractor needs to handle. If they don't or if they shrug them off, See Another Chiropractor.
since my last child I've had terrible lower back pain, bad migranes, and sore neck and upper back. We took xrays and found that I have some degeneration going on as well as crouding in the lower back and in the neck. He thought he could add some space with the adjustments. Plus, in a couple of sections, I have a few vertibrea that are twisting to the side and my pelvis is really off. I have like one hip bone going one way and the other going in the other direction...one tilting in and the other tilting out.
But I'm now even having a lot of soreness in my shoulders. Hard to raise my arms up. REALLY sore like lifted weights.
My hubby said he experienced similar effects after seeing the chiropractor 2 weeks ago but says he feels great now.
