Excuse the way i posted this, but not sure how else to say it. Females are the most beautiful thing God put on this earth. I love looking at a pretty lady all dressed up and very feminum looking. BUT, a hairy _____ turns me off, i mean it just doesn't look feminum at all. They shave their legs and armpits ,why not there. I finally got my wife to do it after many years of begging and now she occasionally does. My question to you ladies is , don't you feel more feminum if you are shaved or am i way off here? I know i have butchered the word feminum...sorry
Do you have *any* idea how ITCHY it is to shave the female pubic area and have hair start growing back? Or how extremely sensitive that area is? Or what razor burn or stubble, let alone a nick or cut on such tender skin feels like? It is on a large order of magnitude more sensitive than your face.
In this female's opinion, it is very selfish of you to nag your wife into shaving there. While *some* women like the smoothness of a fresh shave (and some like the pain of piercing the labia and even the clitoris), many if not most others would gladly not have to go through the discomfort, risk of infection, and/or pain. If *SHE* wants to, then that is *HER* decision, and it should be made for *HER*. *SHE* is the one who has to deal with the burn and the stubble every minute of every day.
As far as looking feminine, how much more feminine could it be than to view a female as nature intended?!? And on the subject of shaving legs and armpits, well, can I hazard a guess that you probably haven't spent a lot of time in non-North American cultures?
Personally, my feelings of femininity certainly do not rely on removing pubic hair! I would hope that most women are much healthier emotionally than that.
I won't even go further into the pyschological ramifications of a hairless pubic mound and the correlation to prepubescent female children....
Well, i can see i'm 0-2 so far. Believe me, if my wife thought it was so terrible, then she wouldn't do it. I know there are creams for the itch, I wasn't trying to start a war with you ladies. I stand by the fact that ladies are much prettier with shaved armpits and legs too. Ladies in third world countries that don't shave their armpits and legs would not appeal to me, just like some ladies don't like guys with beards. I was just asking for your opinion and i guess i got it. :)
i used to trim mysel fhter all the time..
not just fo rlooks but better hygiene also..
it wans 't fo rany guy/cau sei was no tinvolved...
simply because i spent a great deal oftiem swimming and
i wore high cut bottoms/ so i got better leg movement and didn't feel liek givign teh world a view of my privates 8)
esp if in high heat areas it cut s down on odor/ form moisture/ if siting alot/ or sweatint alaot etc/
and what a life saver when on teh goo dold menses...
i knwotha t soudn sgrooss. bu tlet s face facts / blood sticks to hair and only smeel sworse each minute...
also if don't trim and wwwwear a swimsuit youactaully can look like a guy with a bi tof a fluuff htere bulge *smile *
when i lost all my body ahir excep t for most oon head /but thinner... i was compltely bald there for 12/13 years !!
now with wha ti am doign ti si regrowing.. bu ti will tellyou it sure felt weird ot be smoothas baby there!i agree with peachy / i sure didn't feel liek a mature woman
i felt ..umm deneuded ! lol !
nie to start feelign liek a woam n again.and yes i agree withother per son too/ that it certainly would affect clitoral stimulation duridn actual activity beyond fore paly..
but if the emans to attain it means shave i wouldn't
i on ce trimmed to close and it plain hurt grwoign back in
rubbed me raw 8(
so evne gals that trim i think need ot at least hold a finer agaisn t skin and cut abov ethe finger so youget a nie *stubble free trim* still soft 8)
and also use hair conditioner there helsp too
Ladies sorry, you might loose all respect for me on this one. The female genetalia is very sensative when given a good clean shave. The problem with this is that if kept in that state it will loose that initial sensativity. So every couple of weeks or so it is a great way to spice things a bit. Now for the irratation part of the deal, easy, this sounds to be a contradiction but use an old razor. By the way this works if ever you have had itchy arm pits. Upon regrowth it is helpful to avoid undergarmets. It is the hair poking into the weave of fabric that causes
most of the annoyance. A
Oh, there is really no point of doing the entire organ, the underside is what I find to be the best, As my husband likes to call it, with a little " Landing Strip," for decoration.
Isnt there something called a brazillian wax that does the hole thing.... I see it advertised in toronto a lot! Guess the bald taco is popular in the big city! lol!..... Maybe waxing would be better because the hair comes in a little nicer...and it is gone for longer....
I dont really have a personal opinion on this one..... its really up to the woman.... Some woman like it a lot..others see no purpose in it... Ive never tried it myself...so i just dont know..... I kind think it must be there for a reason..... and Im not really into looking like I havent hit puberty.
And as for the remark about woman in third-world countries having armpit and body hair etc... last time I checked France and much of Europe werent third world countries!
had a bad experence with a wax job on my legs, left many painful ingrown hairs over the following weeks. Don't think I would enjoy that on the kitty. OUCH! If you go for it let me know how you fair. As far as looking like a prepubesent girl thats not the case.Leave a patch up front and the breast are a dead give away. Smooth skin is very sensual. I would know I am covered in it. A.
Actually, there was a guest on Graham Norton awhile back who said she had a Brazilan wax done - ONCE - and would never, ever, do it again. That's enough for me, there are times I find it less painful to learn from other's experiences, hehe.
I am a regular shaver--as one poster wrote, with a "landing strip" --and I plan to stay this way forever. I shaved the first time simply out of curiousity, and I love the smoothness, cleanliness, and sensitivity of being shaved. I have found that if I use a good razor, good quality shaving cream, and shave often, then I don't run into any of the razor burn/pain issues. And yes, there are also the gels out there that help to prevent all of that post-shave. I do have several friends that suffer from terrible razor burn though, and they now get the brazilian waxes. OUCH is right, but they say it is worth every bit of the sting. I am happy with the shaving, but I DEFINITELY think it is something each woman should decide for herself. I just happen to think it feels better smooth. I also think that a woman should feel feminine and sexy regardless of how hairy she is down there...
I agree with you Lisa, one more suggestion would be to shave with the growth of the hair. If you go against it that's when you are more likely to get razor burn and ingrown hairs. I also shave everyday, if you don't let it grow back then it won't itch. One more thought to add to the mix is have your husband or boyfriend shave also. The sensations are wonderful, if there isn't any stubble :)
ah! yes its a pleasant thought. My man is a former ironman. Swimmers have long been shaving. I get to enjoy his silky smooth skin, he shaves most of his body all year around, even when he is not racing. Many a gay man did this, staights are now just catching on. A.
I found that shaving made oral sex much more pleasurable for my husband. Smooth/tan legs isnt about looking like a little girl and neither is a totally waxed bush. Whoever said it cuts down on smell is right on. My husband would agree about the "landing strip" since a penis is such a sensitive piece of skin. I think using hair triming clippers is nice. It leaves the hair just long enough to be soft but short enough to not move. This works on men and women and gives a greater sense of security than razors or scissors since there's a saftey guard.
I'll only shave every few months and take advantage of my period as a growing in time since we're less inclined to have sex then and subsequently have an abrasion rash from the stubble.
Got to wonder if maybe this whole hair deal isn't because men are too friggin lazy to actually look for a womans clitoris. Next thing you know, it'll be the trend to paint a glow in the dark arrow down the mons so that they can spend even less effort to find it. I really hate to hear how it is that the presence of hair means that a woman is no longer feminine...I'd hate to think that men are men based soley on the presence of their hair...come to think of it, we may be at that point already.
I have shaved and gotten a brazilian. The brazilian (though painful) is well worth it. Its so nice and smooth, I would recommend it to everyone! If someone is thinking about starting to shave I would definetely say get a vrazilian wax first and then from then on just shave everyday using hair conditioner or lotion it makes it so nice and smooth. Afterwards, just use this prodect called tend skin solution...it definetley helps with the after affects!
