i am applying ozone ear insufflation once a day (5 days/week) but my ears get very dry quickly within 2-3 days and get very itchy and hurt also. i bought humidifer not to have this dryness but that did not work either. i have tried many mathods like taping my ears (except the ear holes) during administration, applying olive oil, etc. but all failed and still my ears get very dry. if you are using ear insufflation too, or if you happen to know any remedy against this dryness effect, could you share with me? i searched everywhere on the web including this site for any information to find a resolution for this, but could not find. any feedback would be truely appreciated.
Sounds like you haven't been doing it too long, or your ears aren't willing to let go of the toxins yet. It took me a month or two before they started letting go of the toxins for me. Some people take longer. They didn't get dry for me, but each person is different.
Right before the ears start letting go of the toxins, you will notice the ear wax getting a lot thinner, or start getting watery. That's when you'll know you're almost there. You might want to start slowing down on the time, or frequency of the applications then. Because the dam is about to burst in your ears, and the watering, icthing, and scabing is about to start.
If you keep going they will eventually start watering like crazy, and the dryness will stop then. My ears watered so much, it soaked all the way through the pillow & into the bed at night. When you get to that point, put a towel on your pillow. They will continue to water in the day time too. They will itch like crazy, and kind of scab over too. If you haven't slowed down on the time, and frequency of applications already, I would now. SLow down to about 30 second to a minute applications, once a week, or less. You can slow down to 10 second applications once a week if you like. It's all up to you and how bad you want to do it. For me they watered for at least 3 days after each application when I reached that point. That's the way it was for me at least.
How long are you insufflating now? You can do it for how ever long you like now until they start to water. Do it for at least 5 minutes to a half hour per ear, or longer. This will speed up the process so the ears will start watering sooner, and apply it every day too.
I'm wondering how much your machine puts out too. If it's a model that doesn't have a high output then you'll have to do it longer to make up for that. If you can adjust the output, crank it.
You will notice clearer thinking, & less headaches pretty soon after the water starts flowing. You probably won't get any ear infections either. It will get rid of other problems like brain cancer, and possible stroke problems too.
Forgot to tell you the "water" is actually lymph fluid containing toxins coming to the surface of the skin. So this is good, and shows the ozone is doing it's thing.
I was doing mine to try and get rid of the ringing in my hears from playing R&R for 20 years. I did it for about 10 months, and it didn't help, but I didn't get to the point of where the toxins stopped coming out either, which is what you're supposed to do. I got tired of all the itching and watering. I do it every now and then to get rid of brain fog still. Which reminds me.... :-)
thanks so much for your response and vaulable feedback.
i have started this about 6 months ago but i could not continue without interruption due to extreme dryness in my ears. it does not look good, the skin starts to peel off, sometimes they are swollen, when i continue doing the ozone, it hurts my skin also. that is why i give 2 weeks break, start over again but cannot continue more than 1 week.
i realized that i needed to reduce the ozone concentration. i have reduced to ozone level 2, oxygen level 1 (i bought oxygen generatator and ozone generators from promolife.com) which translates to 30-40ug ozone concentration. also i am using humidifier and stethoscope.
currently i am trying a new method. i use ear slicons to cover the metalic part just under the stethoscope points. The ozone still escapes (i guess the flow rate is still higher than what can go through the ear holes) but it seems to be less. today is my day 2 for this new trial, i need to do apply for 1 week and see whether there is any change compared to other methods. i will let you know how it will go a week later.
anyway, thanks again for your feedback.
i appreciate other comments on this topic also,
I have a 4 yr old who has had problems with his left ear getting stopped up and yeast. Now his ears have dark wax and the doctors say that his ears look ok. I check them every once in a while for yeast and blockage. The doctor has told me to put hydrogen peroxide in his ears, but I've done that before and gave him swimmer's ear.
Can ozone ear insufflation help this? If so what is it, and how do I do it? I have an Enaly OZX300U. Will this work?
H2O2 in the ears kills bacteria etc. Doctors use it all the time to sterilize. The swimmers ear your son got might have been a coincidence. Try it again and dry the ear after a few minutes to make sure there is no moisture inside. You can drain the ear by tilting the ear to your shoulder, you can use q tips very very carefully and you can massage the outer ear while tilting on to a dry towel or kleenex. Perhaps the ear retained moisture around the old wax last time.
I'm not a doc this is just my humble opinion. Hope it helps. I also answered your other post about smelling ozone.
ozone through ear clears the infections due to viruses, bacteria, etc. The ozone gas actually gets into the brain, eyes, forhead area too. Once you start doing on your son, he will start feeling the benefits not only on his ears but also as clarity of mind, eyes more clear, etc. A 4year child cannot probably recognize or even if he recognizes, may be he cannot express well. when you do this continously, you will see the benefits in the long term too. Also, sometimes my ears get blocked and i use ear wax drops (OTC from any pharmacy) and it opens up. i am not a doctor either, just my experinces. hope this helps.
I know this sound trival to you, but I've never heard of ozone in the ears and don't know how to get it in there. I've been making ozone water for my other son to drink. So, do I just pour the ozone water in his ears? Or do I do it some other way? Also, I ordered some 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide this week from dfwx.com, so can that be used? If so, how do you suggest?
you need an earscope (i had bought it from promolife.com) to have the ozone gas flow into the ears. you plug one side to the ozone generator and the other side to the ears. i use humidifier also which is sold in the same site. in this case, i plug the earscope to the humudifer not directly to the ozone generator. hope this helps.
