Hello. This is the first time I have come across the Curezone website. I found it from a search on Crisco. I would like to know if ANYONE has ever heard of using this Baking ingredient as a sort of moisturizer on the face. I mentioned to my family doctor that many moisturizers tend to sting on my face, and she mentioned about this Crisco. I couldn't believe I was hearing her correctly. Could anyone please tell me that they can relate to this? Any opinions ?
I can't imagine putting Crisco on my face! I think the hydrogenated fatty acids would be bad for the skin, because of the free radicals. You might try olive or sesame oil, perhaps mist your face with water and then mix just a drop or two of the oil and massage on face.
Actually there was a girl who went to my sister's school who was always blabbing about putting cooking oil on her face as a moisturizer - and she had terrible skin, so who would want to listen to her? Then again, she was also had problems.
Ive been using vegetable shortening on my face for a week now because Dr. oz told me to, ha ha. I must say, this is the best face cream Ive ever used and my skin looks beautiful. However, Im concerned about it absorbing into my body through my skin and thats why Im here poking around on Curezone. Hopin' for an answer.
