About a year ago, my two year old daughter developed black stains on her upper front teeth, and some on her molars too. I took her to a "biologic" dentist and he said the stains are caused by Actinomyces sp. bacterium. Before I took her to see him, I was really panicking, thinking her teeth were rotting out or something. He told me this bacteria does not cause decay amd not to worry.
Well, the black spots are still there, but now the black is spreading on one tooth and the tooth appears to be wearing down a little. Almost like it's crumbling or breaking off a little. The biologic dentist does not officially treat children as young as my daughter, he just gave me an evaluation last year when I took my older son in. This is why I haven't brought her back to see him.
I'm very way of taking her to see a traditional dentist, but at this point I think my options are limited. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this bacteria? She is very resistant to having anything put into her mouth, and I have to clean her teeth with a washcloth indtead of a toothbrush. I am really concerned now because I don't want a conventional dentist to perform any unecessary treatments on her but I don't want to just stand by and watch her teeth being destroyed.
We eat a primarily raw food diet and I think this problem may have been cause by the overconsumption of oranges. We still eat a lot of fruit, but I try to have her drink water immediately after to rinse off the fruit sugar. Since she is so young, it's hard for me to get any calories into her, so my main coice for her is fruit. I am still breastfeeding her so I hope that's not causing any problems.
Hello my friend. Avoid that traditional dentist at all costs - once they drill that enamel, well, it is bad. In Britian, it is ilegal to drill teeth of people under 12 yrs old, and instead they use Ozone Ballons, which kills the decay [cavity], and it is cured, done, good.
To kill the bacteria causing the black spots, use a small amount of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. Try using a q-tip soaked in the solution, apply directly to the black spots. This is another "oxygen" therapy, like Ozone used so extensively in Britian. It will not harm normal tissues, they like it.
Any health care professional will tell you that Hydrogen-Peroxid "is too hard on tissues". They don't want people using products that cannot be patented - try to find an example where they do, its not done. As a result, many of the best treatments are not used.
Non-patentable medicines are not profitable, and so despite their effectiveness they are ignored. I said it twice now...
If the black spots do not go away after a week of three times daily Hydrogen-Peroxid use, I will be amazed. Try to get the Food Grade, dilute it with distilled water to 3% or 3.5%, for best results. H2O2 has many many uses around the home and in the body.
You should, of course, first try it yourself - whitens your teeth, cleans up the bacteria that should not be there, and if it stings just rinse. The taste isn't attractive, but not overly repulsive. Try some baking soda on a toothbrush after it sits for a minute or two.
It really is a beautiful thing, it is oxygen the stuff of life. And it has no patents, relieving the need to promote it with lies as most dental and medical products are.
Personally, I have used H2O2 to remove stains on my teeth. No problems.
ALLWAYS KEEP IN MIND THE DILUTION !!! Be carefull , it is potent stuff when full strength. But perfectly safe at 3% for "topical use" - but don't swallow it [little bits are ok to swallow] until you are fullly educated. See Ed McCabe's site for more info , but those links are being killed off regularly.
electravan, you were brave even anonymous awaiting feedback on such admission.
I've read in spurts wondering if the public unravels as I have.
You've given an organized name to what my husband stares at in dismay: is it all the dandelions I eat periodically that makes me alnost reqire a new type of water pic to get rid of the weeds look of my incisors but it can't be dismissed as such.
Actinomyces sp. bacterium -- I've now been given spokes on what is to be talked about. The one disturbance I found is that mucus should be protective... which has always been touted as counterproductive by some raw authors. I knew zero wasn't my aim when it was needed for some discharges but... I have no formula.
I thought I'd re-review interviews with a questionnaire surveying also teeth struggles on this disciplined food plan, to see what was missing for those that said that that was a mess for awhile, whether a correlation comes with no no grains or categorizatuons that then might make us chase other maintenances.
A good oral hygiene keep away all stains from your teeth. But, You need to learn brushing and flossing tips to save your teeth from black and yellow stains. Dark stains in teeth can be signs of a more serious matter such as a dead root or internal rotting. Its important to visit dentist every 6 months. Clean your teeth once a week with baking soda and salt. Use of teeth whiting strips also helps to remove black stains its not a one time process you will have to keep this process in your daily routine then it will help you.
DEntal problems can be painful if not taken well care of . Hence you should visit the dental help as soon as possible . I had root canal problem and so i visited the Weekend Hour Silver Spring at the North Bethesda Dental Design
and it helped.
If her teeth are rotting, then it could be because she does not have enough vitamin D. Since you are raw vegan, you can't get it from the food you eat, and you rely mainly on the sun. Supplementing this vitamin may help.
