New to forum. I did the detox bath with Epsom Salts , hydrogen peroxide, and baking soda last night with great results. I look much better today-the puffiness in my face is practically gone. I guess that alkaline/acid is my problem, not necessarily the candida. I have a few questions, please:
1. How often can one do the detox bath?
2. I am allergic to citrus fruits, can I use the blackstrap molasses without the lemon, or won't it work?
3. I know this has been covered, but I am quite afraid to use the blackstrap molasses as I'm afraid it will bring my candida back again. Are there any supplements I can use instead? (money doesn't matter to me that much when it comes to my health)
4. I currently use Primal Defense probiotics and Candex, and the candida have been improving. Can I continue to use these products and the blackstrap molasses also?
5. What is the relationship between candida and acidity? Does anyone know?
6. What other steps can I take to lower the acidity in my body?
Thanks in advance for any help people can give me. I am especially curious about how often I can use the detox bath.
the first i have used and it works great. the second i have on order right now, but it looks good. you could use a smaller amount of the mollases and then a good serving of one of these products if you are worried about Sugar as these have no sugar.
part of the reason for adding the lemon juice is that the acids form the lemon create a chemical reaction with the alkaline minerals that releases energy into your body. if you absolutely can't eat lemons you can get the acids from different places like apple cider vinegar which has both malic acid and acetic acid in it. or you could get malic acid capsules. they are very cheap from http://www.swansonvitamins.com you can mix the malic acid powder into the bs mollases and add some liquid minerals and some apple cider vinegar, i think that would do you really good. experiment with different proportions and see what works best.
also as moreless has recomended before kelp is an excellent source of minerals that is also sugar free. kelp + apple cider vinegar may be a way to go if you want ot avoid mollases and can't do the lemons.
I just wanted to recommend Garden of Life's Acid Defense. I just started taking it about a week ago and am very happy with it. It has made a big difference. I know their products are expensive, but for me they have been worth it.
Thanks to those who responded...I greatly appreciate it! Ladybud, you mentioned that you have been very happy with the product. I am presently using Primal Defense and am having a lot of success, so I have faith in the Garden of Life products. If you don't mind my asking, what symptoms did you have before using it, and after? How can you tell you're improving? My improvement is in my appearance (less puffy face and bags under eyes.)
Blessings and good things,
I am going to try to make a long story short...
Well, my usual allergic symptom is burping (like a guy, it goes on for quite a while. (My burping is almost like what sneezing is to other people.) I had gone a long time symptom free when eating. A few weeks ago, it started up again. The only thing I can figure out is some new supplements that I had started taking, especially milk thistle (this was giving me asthma symptoms). I stopped this but the problem with burping when I was eating still continued. I seemed to be having some sort of problem where my throat was too dry, so I was either couphing or burping... not fun. I decided one day, I was too acidic that's all. So I started taking it, my burping went away and I feel clearer. I am not sure what feels clearer, it is either my esophagus or my lungs, but to me it feels like my esophagus. I just really started feeling better, I had a party at the park Saturday, and usually this would have been high stress for me, but I felt so calm the whole time. Good Luck.
