Is there any abnormal urine analysis results you got? If you were somewhere near a China Town and got a chinese friend, kindly ask if they can get you a pulse diagnosis of your health condition. I am not a Chinese myself but Its been a year now that I proven this ancient practice really works. Best if combined with a Dr of Natural Meds and having East meets western medicine.
As for real, the pulser a year ago diagnose my 2.5year old daughter then, having a kidney which got tendency to shirink. And after correcting the problem my daughter never fell on the ground while walking or running.
Unless you have kidney stones which indicate you are very alkaline, what I have read is that abnormally high alkaline readings are the body's reaction to being too acid. Your body is deliberately cannibalizing your bones to make your ph alkaline.
It is a paradox ,but inless you follow an extremely strict diet & lifestyle my guess is that you are very, very acid and should take measures to combat that.
Step #1 stop drinking soda, or manufactured beverages.
The thing is, my diet is very, very heathy. I follow a type O diet with no refined/processed foods, I ferment/sprout all of my grains, beans, seeds and nuts, I basically eat vegetables, meat, eggs, fruit, and a bit of nuts, seeds, beans and grains. All organic, about 75% raw. I eat no wheat/gluten and no dairy. No sugar, no caffene, no artificial anything and no colors and dyes.
I am so confused. I looked on the alkaline/acid foods list and I eat about 50/50 on each side.
Should I aim for all alkaline foods?
I just dont see such a huge alk/acid imbalance happening solely from my diet, but I could be wrong.
I eat meat and eggs, but not dairy.
I eat way more alkaline veggies and fruits than meat and eggs. And I eat grains (alkaline) every day.
I do not drink anything but water, which is reverse osmosis from the local supply, which has a ph of 8.7
I drink 2-3 litres a day, more in the summer.
Thanks for the help,
Is there anything other than diet that can affect ph so drastically?
I have to agree with golfskiyoga, you are cannibalizing your bones.
The blood must maintain a ph between 7.385 to 7.45. It will do this
in the following order.
1. local bicarbonate buffers (sodium/calcium) response is within seconds of shifting acid condidtion, ie eating or drinking, exercise.
2. Increase respitory to remove c02 from acid break down, within a
few seconds from food or drinking, but more so from activity, remember exercise uses body Sugar which will be broken down to
3. Metabolic acidoses is taken care of by the liver. days to respond
your body may also store the excess acide in fat cells until
it can command up enough buffers to move the acid out the elimination system.
4. If there are no buffers (see 1.) the calcium will be pulled from
the bones to keep the ph in the proper range
4. The Final is kidney, if your ph is 8.4 or above your kidneys are
doing the work. THIS IS BAD!!!!. Normally we see this in the elderly
on their deathbed. The urine will be high in ammonia, which has a
ph of 8.4.
Your food should be a 80/20 mix, with 80% being alklid ash.
If you are underweight, you have nothing left, you must build up
the buffers as soon as you can.
I'm kind of new to the acid/alkaline balance issue, and they discuss this also over in the "Ask MH" forum. I'm just throwing out some ideas, so.... have you done bowel cleaning, liver flushing and parasite cleansing yet? I wonder if it's possible that you have some kind of chronic low grade infection going on? Do you eat mostly raw food, or much of it cooked? I'm not sure, but I thought that the alkaline veggies and such were only alkalizing if eaten raw. Is your GI tract healthy? I have read in Donna Gates' Body Ecology Diet that naturally lacto-fermented foods help heal the gut and aid in absorption of minerals, I eat raw cultured vegetables and kefir. I do notice that when I am disciplined about consuming them every day, my nails are harder, stronger and grow faster, so there must be some truth to that.
Hi, My pH is also 8.5 and I eat a lot of raw fruits and vegetables and pretty much a diet like yours. I have done a lot of research on this and it seems that a pH of 8.5 is not a bad thing at this level cancer cells die and many other diseases cannot survive in a 8.5 alkaline environment. I have never heard of your bones being cannibalized with this reading. Sounds like you maybe be lacking iron if your not menstruating. You may also need to increase the fats in your diet if you are concerned about weight loss. Also the body does need some carbs for energy. You should make sure you take a multi vitamins with minerals to make sure you are getting everything you need with a mostly raw diet. Do more research from different sources about 8.5ph balance to get a realistic definition on what that reading means. Hope this helps a little
