make a point several times in day to sit with feet raised.
when you sleep at night, put a pillow under feet.
if you sit for long times, with feet dowm, get up as much as you can,
thru the day to keep blood from stagnating and fluid (edema congestion)
this is esp important since it has been proven that folks that sit with feet
down for long periods raise risk lvl of blood pooling and clotting,
that may lead to a blood clot then getting stuck some where resulting in
when I am at my computer,
I sit with another chair in front of me that i put my feet up on.
yes bucket seats are terrible for good fluid circulation .
see if a small round pillow in the *dip butt area* helps you sit properly .
try to use maybe a light support sock when you have to go out,
that will help support veins and I think that will help you greatly.
something along these lines might help you greatly .
(maybe just keep 2 for going out)
they are 80 % cotton which is better than most support socks
and cheaper price than many support socks outlets.
I would also suggest a kidney flush perhaps,
since alot of edemas are related to kidneys not flushing out fluids properly .
drink only 8 oz
of water at a time, (kidneys can only process 8 oz
at a time )
drink room temperature drinks,
or dechill with adding room temp water to a cold drink .
cold drinks are very hard on kidneys.
stay hyrdrated properly neither under or over/
the amt is approx 1/2 or body wt in fluid ounces.
say a half gallon of water at 64 ounces
would be suitable for a person
of 128 wt. (see)
then have a few good herbal teas etc here and there also ok ,
or a few fruit drinks.
avoid dehydrating drinks such as coffee/sodas/
and make sure you are not using table salt
it hinders kidney process and unprocessed amt is stored as a toxin in
if you over hydrate or drink more than 8 oz
at one time,
then the kidneys store that as well.
if you under hydrate
then your body assumes you are in lack of water,
and begins to retain ..
natural Sea Salt
in very small amts will help kidneys,
and excess can be flushed out.
we really only need a small amt of salt,
unless seriously sweating or losing mass water
thru some form of temporary flushing.
hope this helps
