The advice on curezone about cleansing candida before Amalgam removal, doesn't take into account the below article. Note that the below article is corroborated by a number of real-life people who have said that no matter how strict their anti-candida regimens, they were never able to get rid of candida, but once they removed their amalgam, their candida problems cleared.
(So much for ParaGone, ThreeLac and so on...
Amalgams can be one of several causes as to why candida can proliferate. The problem isn't the candida...it's the biological terrain and why it stimulates/supports candida growth in the first place. It depends on an individuals total load and subceptibilities. It is my strong feeling that without dealing with the underlying problems/toxicity, that you will just be spinning your wheels with band aid approaches. This is why diet(alkalinizing), emotional health, environmental health, and total toxic burdon must all be dealt with. I particularly like the term dysbiosis because it looks to the entire picture of why things are off. Dental health is a big part of this picture.
OK, granted, but still you agree that Amalgam can be one of the causes of candida.
So I think that in the area where CureZone advises on the chronological order of detox, they should explain that perhaps Amalgam removal should chronologically precede other cleanses, and explain the reason - as mentioned on Deborah Baker's url.
I think an important aspect of this is bio uniqueness. Everyone comes to their illness in a different way. Many things must be considered and the cleansing order on the site is only a guidline, but one that works for most people. Keep in mind that if you don't have good kidney function, your colon isn't functioning up to snuff, and your liver isn't detoxing safely, then chelating mercury or any other heavy metal can be very detrimental to your health situation. In effect you'd be taking mercury out of storage and dumping it somewhere else in the body. This could have grave consequences. So I believe having your elimination organs operating as well as possible is a priority.
The problem arises when people focus on one thing and one thing only instead of thinking holistically, whether its candida or heavy metals or any other things that contribute to the total load working against your health. This is the problem with allopathic medicine and some alternative healers tend to fall into this trap as well. One must look to the bigger picture and deal with everything effectively in balance. This is done by considering all things that make up your individual total load.
This site offers many views on healing but the bottom line message is the same; personal empowerment through education of all options. It is each one of us who must decide his or her healing path. Therefore it is essential to become as aware of your own situation and all the options available to you for healing.
Knowledge is power.
Freedom to decide is your birthright.
I just wanted to say I believe most here will agree that removing your fillings is a very important thing to do.
However it does not guarentee that it will improve your health.
I think it is only part of the puzzle for some.
It is also very important to follow Dr Huggins protocal when removing your fillings for the greatest possible benfits. Otherwise you can actually make yourself sick if this is done incorrectly!
Mine are coming out in Dec/Jan.
you ask how long I have been candida overgrowth free.
Since the end of January 2003.
I did not even go and read this article why? because the statement you just made is false!
I am candida overgrowth free and I have 14 mercury fillings in my mouth.
Now it is possible after removing them and I start working on my Heavy metals there maybe different fungus hiding like Rocksuwella (spelling) there are different fungus'.
So to say one can not get rid of candida before removing yor fillings is simply not true. If it is then I am a miracle.
I have had candida overgrowth for about 10 years.
last year I became very sick, with lack of energy and depression, besides, vaginal discharge and many other symptoms.
I have mercury fillings in my mouth. I do not have money to change them.
What sould I do? cry and just wait for what?
I have done parasite cleansing, bowel cleansing, and several liver flushes. I am doing kidenay cleansing (Andreas Moritz's protocol) right now and taking probiotics.
Also diet and exercise.
My health is improving remarkably. I truly recommend all these protocols.
Maybe I could improve more if could remove my mercury fillings, but if I cannot afford that I still have hope and I want to tell everybody that their efforts are in the right direction.
My energy is much better since I did my Liver Flushes and my food intolerance is better after my bowel cleansing.
I am also better from my vaginal discharge. I hope that very sick people, especially those with little money can feel they have hope if they improve their diet, and begin cleansing..
Zule, I feel bad that you lack the funds for removal, and I truly didn't intend to confuse you.
I only posted this with a positive purpose in mind - I myself didn't learn of this issue until quite recently and in fact I'd purchased ParaGone based on the CureZone advice. So when the above issue came to my attention, I thought it important to let others know this so they can choose whether they want to bother (or not) with a *potential* exercise in futility.
Had I known of this issue before, I might have thought twice before bothering with this regimen which turns people into slaves (y'know, having to wait 3 hours, then take the gook, then wait 1/2 hour until eating. Three times a day. In addition, because I'm alcohol intolerant, I have to squeeze the drops into boiling water and let it evaporate.
As for the capsules, I read somewhere that gelatin capsules don't dissolve well in non-acidic stomachs, and for all I know, I might fall into this category.
A few thoughts: What about all the kids (pre filling age) who have conditions and ailments that can be associated with allergies/food intolerances and have had no mercury fillings. I am not promoting amagram fillings. I went so far as to have all mine removed a few years ago. At the time I thought it was the causatory factor with my food intolerances. It was not the dramatic cure I hoped for but my teeth and gums have been remarkably healthy ever since!
I believe that mercury is yet another "factor" in our environment that aggravates the poor "condition" that we all seem to find ourselves in but I don't think it is the cause.
Ten years ago I gave up all dairy products (later on I gave up other things). At the time I didn't really know too much about candida or parasites. After a few weeks of very severe reaction (flu, swollen glands, bloodshot eyes etc). I suddenly felt amazing. The suprising change was of "mood". I would never have gone to a doctor for depression but I suddenly felt light and happy! I suddenly realised I could relate moods like anger, fear, sadness to the food that I was eating. If I stuck to the diet I felt GREAT. The problem was that if I strayed from the path I felt TERRIBLE. The consolation was that I was IN CONTROL of my health (that has to be the best situation).
I thought there was something wrong with food. I turned organic (I even tried to set up an organic small-holding). There are some foods that I react to particularly if they are non-organic like apples and chicken (the juices used to affect me from non-organic) but these are AGGRAVATIONS and not the cause.
I am beginning to agree with a lot of people that it looks like Candida and Parasites could be the causatory factor we are all looking for.
Dental Amalgams are just one piece of a body's Total Load. This piece is bigger in some people depending on many factors that I will lable bio uniqueness.
We must consider all toxins in body, mind and spirit and deal with them accordingly.
This in part explains why some people removing their amalgams(correctly) have miracle cures, yet others reamin unweel until they find their metabolic kryptonite (so to speak).
