Im on day 7 and am feeling fantastic, and shedding pounds (like mad),and the folks around me are asking whats up, so I have shared with a few of them what I am doing and they want to try it too.
The question I have is that one of them is truly morbidly obese (or very close), are there any things they should know upon taking this on (aside from whats in the book, that we all need to expect)??
Thanks, this forum is a great help, and since the beginning I have found more help reading than posting, but in this instance I want to help this person if I can.
The bigger you are, the more calories you need, really. If this person wants to try it then I would suggest they have more lemonades a day, to keep them from going into toxic overload, but that's just my personal opinion. Also, obese people are more prone to high blood pressure, diabetes, stuff like that. Tell them to be sure to do their research and to continue with all life sustaining medication, if they are on any. I'm obese, not morbidly but close to it (about 60-70 pounds overweight, depending on what weight chart you look at), and I'm taking medication for high blood pressure. I plan on using my own judgement by monitoring my blood pressure and taking the medication if it gets too high, cleanse or not. I'm not going to stroke out while trying my best to get healthy!!! It's stuff like this everyone should use their own discretion on, and DO THEIR RESEARCH, MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS, AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN HEALTH!
Congrats on day 7! You haven't eaten in a week (isn't that fun to think about)!
Kudos to you for wanting to sare your "health". : )
you dont need to drink more lemonades to do this if you are fatter.
having more calories than you should along with the wrong kind of calories is most likely what made them fat in the first place.
fat holds toxins. so for someone who is really heavy they may have a heavy detox reaction, loose skin. they should first clean up thier diet so there are less detox symptoms to deal with during the fast and post fast. cravings for junk foods is going to be something they are probably going to be fighting.
to tighten up skin you can do dry skin brushing. google it on how to.
the heavy person needs to drink half thier weight in water daily in ounces.
have them start doing that right now. they are probably so toxic they may feel a little ill from that. even when eating healthy. i myself felt a detox from doing that when i first started cleansing. i was a normal weight with a bad diet history.
I'd just like to add that on medically supervised fasting programs, patients are given only 800 calories a day for 2-3 months, which is well within the 6-12 glasses of lemonade a day recommended on the MC.
That's my point, MEDICALLY SUPERVISED diets are that low in calories. The Master-Cleanse is generally not supervised by medical doctors, hence the be careful and have a little more calories than moderately overweight person would to avoid potential health problems from severly drastic weight loss. Like I said, just my opinion.
I am what is considered as grossly morbidly obese, on medical papers. I weighed 373 3/4 lbs. last August. Last Sunday I weighed 328 1/2. I have O Type Blood and have been on the Blood Type Diet. Can find it on the internet. As far as the weight loss from the MCF, it may not be permenant, I lost 17 lbs, in 12 days last Dec. and gained it all back over the holidays. I ate a serving of corn and a serving of rice and beans (two avoids for me) I had a slice of pecan pie. and ate dry fruit, with chopped nuts made into little balls. The rest was "O" compliant.
I came off of the fast incorrectly, and ate wrong, also had hives from eating wrong two days in a row.
A week later I went on the precleanse, before MCF, and ate fruit and raw veggies, cooked veggies and a little chicken, lost 10 1/2 lbs, I will be weighing tomorrow to see if it stayed off and if I lost anymore. I am toying with the idea of doing the parasite cleanse first followed by the liver flush, than doing the MCF next.
As far as your friend is concerned, if as obese as I am I would suggest checking out BTD of following precleanse for awhile to clean out body first. Also when doing the MCF I did the Salt-Water-Flush every morning. I enjoyed it. I am diabetic so I had to do it differently, than other people, also if candida is a problem for your friend, vegetable juice fast would be a better cleanse to do, as MCF aggravates candida. Best to you and all your friends, in striving for better health
I am no longer using a walker, or a cane. so I have had much success.
That's exactly what I needed to hear. I'm just on Day 1, so when I'm getting discouraged these next few days, I'll think of you're glowing skin and sparkling eyes...hahaha. Congrats on making it through!
