I have experienced chronic sinus infections my entire life. The three most serious symptoms are as follows: I continually have heavy mucus in my throat. At times I may cough 100 times an hour. Because I sleep on my left side, the infection has a tendency to reach my left lung. I have seen many doctors over the years without satisfactory results. Treatments have included antibiotics, nasal sprays, allergy pills.
Last week I began the parasite program From the Dr. Hulga Clark. Cloves, Wormwood, Black-Walnut hull (freeze dried). After two days my coughing was reduced by 75 percent, and the mucus was reduced to almost nothing. I am on my 7th day as I write and will have to see what the long term results are.
I'm begining to think parasites in the sinus cavaties may be the cause for the infections and related problems.
I am looking for someone with more experience than I who may be able to confirm this belief and pehaps suggest other treatments.
Interesting, do you always blow your nose also? And your nose gets stuffed? And you always have to hack to get mucous out of your throat? It seems I have what you have and I suspect the culprit as internal parasites. I'm tired of taking nasonex, guiafen, flonase, blah blah blah. None of them work.
I have been on the same medications that you have described. None worked but temporary.
As of today I have virtually no flem or mucus. I only have to clear my throat once in a while. Previously, it was continual. I had to refrain from public speaking because of it.The most remarkable difference is the coughing. It is almost non existent. My lungs feel clear, and I'm hoping I won't have respiratory infections this winter.
I have had the same issues for years.I stumbled on to something that if you are persistent it may help.I tried sprays and other doctor stuff all temporary.I got a pretty strong cold so I started taking vitamin "c" to help get over it.I was drinking OJ and taking Halls C at night.I found that as long as I had some "c" 5 times a week the thing in my nose didn't like it very much and after about 4-5weeks it couldn't take it anymore and gave up.You may notice a bit of an acidic sensation in your nose when the job is done.I can also warn of a bit of an issue on passing the bad stuff that can and probably will affect your bowl.If you have hemorrhoid issues be prepared for the worse. When you are clear of this thing they may improve as mine have. Good Luck
I recently read some posts on one of these forums of 2 different people who actually passed some parasites through the nose. It may have been the Zapper Forum ? Not sure. I'm glad you're finally finding relief! I've done lots of cleansing, but still have lingering sinus infections after I have a cold/flu. I've recently made echinacea tincture from the Dr. Schultz forum and used it appx 2 weeks ago to clear an existing sinus infection and it worked! (this is despite the fact that I didn't take too much for too long, I have a really strong batch that makes me naseaus. I'll be trying it again soon as a preventative measure over Thanksgiving). Dr. Schultz also has an "herbal snuff" that I've made and will try on my next cold. I've also found that the cleaner my body gets, the better and faster herbs like echinacea work for me! Keep it up, sounds like your well on your way!
I have had congestion and the thick mucus running down the back of my throat, etc., etc. for as long as I can remember. The Liver Flushes alleviated alot of it but I too have come to the conclusion that it must be parasites. I've done nasal flushes some even using grapeseed extract -zing! what a feeling!. The symptoms subside for awhile but I know they'll be back. I also experience itching in my ears and they're always plugged up. Feel like I should invest in a gold spittoon to carry with me!!!
Ditto on the constant running.I have tried the nasal flushing too. It worked in the beginning but some water found its way to my inner ear. (Ear, nose, throat all connected)That set up an infection so I don't do that any more.Any other information you may know would be greatly appreciated.
I also had chronic sinus infections for years. Hard to remember when they started getting bad, but I would guess about 20 years ago. As time went on they got continually worse. I was treated with all the nasal sprays and drugs to promote drainage as well as antibiotics about every 2 or 3 months toward the end. I also had two sinus surgeries to open the passages more. I saw every doctor, ENT, and allergy doctor in the city.
Finally a new doctor took an xray of my skull from the front and although it wasn't conclusive because of the bone and tissue in the area, it looked like one of my upper teeth had punctured the sinus cavity. I had it removed to be safe. It didn't help as much as I had wished, but got me to thinking about my teeth being the problem as I had been told years earlier of the possibility. I ignored this because on the face of it, my teeth didn't bother me.
Well I started reading up on the problems of metals in the mouth, and root canals and the relation to ones health. I decided that it was worth it to have all the Amalgam (silver) fillings replaced and the root canals removed. This can not be done by just any dentist. They have to be trained on the correct way to do it and use the proper replacement materials.
It has been 4 months since my last dental work has been done, and I have not had a sinus infection.
The antibiotics only cured the symptoms for a short time and in fact exacerbated the problem by giving me one hell of a systemic yeast infection that I am trying to deal with now. This yeast infection has caused many other problems. It can be stored in the root canals as they are dead teeth and do not receive the benefit of the immune system as they do not have blood flow any longer. Bacteria grows in the teeth and surrounding bone and is transported to other organs of your body where it causes many problems.
My advice to you would be to have your teeth taken care of first if they do have metal in them and the root canals removed. In fact, Dr. Clark says this is a must before any parasite removal or Liver Flushes will work.
Check the home page for CureZone as there are some links that will tell you all about the teeth problems.
One last thing that might help that I still do is sinus irrigations. It is best when done with a machine called a "Hydro Floss". Similar to a "Water Pik" only not as powerful to hurt your sinus tissue. Try to find a product called "Alkalol". It is a mucous mover. It will keep the sinus cavities clean of bacteria that will grow if left in the cavities. You can do this as often as needed. You will probably have to dilute it with water (warm distilled is best) for a while until you get use to it, but it is best at full strength.
And last, run from the doctors as they don't seem to have any answers except prescribe drugs. Of course they have their place if physically injured but otherwise you can do better doing reseach or seeing a Naturopath.
Don't take Antibiotics. They cause more problems than they help.
WoW! You have gone alot farther than I. Your advise on having fillings replaced is true ...I know. I do have metal fillings in my mouth but I haven't been able to afford the cost of removal. I know it's a problem but I'm seeking some kind of relief in the mean time. (without antibiotics)
The odds are that your teeth are causing the problem and that any relief you try to get will not help and you will have spent money needlessly trying.
I know it's expensive. I don''t have the exact figures, but I would guess that I have about $5,000.00 invested in the removal and replacement of fillings. It cost me almost a $1000.00 just to have a cavitation test done that would reveal which areas of the jaw bone didn't have any blood flow any longer. ( A sonar type device that can measure blood flow) This produced one tooth (root canal) that had been extracted earlier without doing it properly. They had to lay the gum open and the jaw bone was like mush from the bacteria that wasn't cleaned out during the extraction. They cleaned it out with a burr, sewed it up. Previous to having this done my regular dentist took measurements of how much my gum was receeding around each tooth. A (1) is not to bad, (2) indicates concern and you should floss more often etc. the tooth adjacent to the cavitation that I had done was a 6. That should tell you how this was affecting the tooth next to it. Now it is a (1) again.
I hate to sound like a broken record, but I can't talk enough about the bad effects these type of teeth cause. I had to float a loan to get mine removed and it was worth it.
Those teeth cause many other problems also. Click on the link for all my posts and read about them.
Hello:) I had sinus infections for about 25-30 years. They were begining to turn into migrains more frequently. I didn't think I had constant drainage but I now realise I was so used to it I just didn't notice it.
What primarily would happen with me was when a weather front would come through I would get a headache. It was my built in baramoter as I could tell a storm was coming sometimes before the weatherman announced it. Mild fronts produced a small sinus headache, tornadoes produced what would start as a sever sinus headache and turn into a migraine.
I was up to using sinus pills on a average of three days of the week to try and control the pain. My husband was convinced I was addicted to the addictive drug that is in them. I was worried what they might be doing to my body but I just wanted relief. Since they were becoming more and more painful as I got older I thought that I would have to have surgery. At times I would have been happy if they had just cut my head off.
I had occasional itching in my nose which didn't abate when I did herbal parasite cleanses. Had asked doctors if they could be worms or something and looked but were skeptical and found nothing. Other herbal cures for sinuses didn't work. I had pnuemonia two times and bronchitus repeatedly which always started out as a sinus infection. Which is why I popped the sinus pills. I knew I couldn't let it get out of hand. Antibiotics would get rid of infection but not the headaches.
I would also get a immediate sinus headache if I caught a whiff of mold. So I thought for many years that I had an allergy to mold and some weird phenomena in my nose.
I recently did 8 weeks of parasite cleanse then followed it with liver flushes. After my first Liver Flush I had a week of no sinus pain. It rained three times that week and I had no pain! I was so excited. Finally I could function like a normal human being. After about a week the pain started to come back but not as bad. I waited the recommended two weeks between flushes and did another one. This time a stone moved to a bad spot and it didn't work as well, plus I was uncomfortable, so about a week later I did another flush. After the third flush I went over two weeks with no sinus pain. Despite heavy rain, tornado weather, and accidentally getting a good whiff of moldy fruit.
So that's it for now. I flushed again last night because I had a slight sinus headache the day before. It wasn't even strong enough to take a pill for but I don't want the headaches coming back. I have also switched to a zapper and Black-Walnut tincture for parasites which got rid of the itching in my nose. And when I can afford 5000$ in dental bills I'll be having my mouth cleaned up as I have had a constant tooth ache this last week.
So I say go for it, get rid of the parasites, try a liver cleanse, and follow up with dental cleanup. What have you got to lose but sinus problems? As far as I'm concerned I'm healing up and you can too.
I guess it was the Mayo Clinic that finally concluded that sinus infections are fungal related...which fits in with your mold connection. I think I also read that parasites feed on this mucous-fungal stuff in your sinuses. Eating anything sweet seems to feed the fungal/parasites and makes things worse for me..in fact, I think it may CAUSE it in the first place!
If I catch things in an early stage, I find that pao d'arco works well against fungus. I drink the tincture, put some on cotton balls and put in my nostrils and even splash it on my face! I used to take antibiotics, but learned by accident that I could get over an infection in about 1 1/2 days using high doses of vitamin C, probiotics and lots of water.
Hoping the continued parasite cleansing will eventually ease this problem..
I'm the one who posted a couple of weeks ago with parasites coming out of my sinuses. I was getting over a cold and suddenly I felt a twinging in the sinus area way in my nose. Then it moved down into the back of my throat and it felt like I got some food stuck in there. When I coughed up, I almost fainted! I saw TWO parasites almost the size of my pinkie nail!!
I too, have a lot of sinus trouble, especially after my REALLY bad one last winter. It affected my heart beat! My naturopath said he thought the infection went to my heart. At that time I also aquired a very bad ear infection.
I do have a question for you all. Since my bad infection in January, every time I am around a person with perfume on, it makes me crazy! I am SOO sensitive to this stuff and it NEVER used to be this way. Is anyone else like this?
I too have found perfumes to bother me. Even walking past a Perfumania at the mall will cause sneezing or coughing. Perhaps the Parasites are registering their displeasure with our choice of fragrances ???LOL
Thanks for the responses! It's day 10 of the parasite program and things are going very well. Virtually no mucus and coughing is very minimal. No more than a normal person.
I really believe parasites are the leading cause in sinus/bronchial/Asmatic problems.
I will do the Liver Flush next. What is the best way to go about it? Your recommendations are greatly appreciated.
The best way, and least confusing, is to read all the recipies and decide which one you can handle then just go for it. You might want to do the kidney cleanse first since the toxins released might overload the kidney if it's not clean. After you have done one flush you will be able to figure out what you want to do next.
Most of us use the Dr. Clark method. Some of that group, myself included, use a modified form of her method.
I too have chronic sinus infection and am pregnant. I would not for that reason try dr. clark's protocol, although my husband (a chiropractor) admires her work. In fact, maybe some household chemicals are partially responsible. I hope your results continue to improve and am interested in which book you read to find the parasite formula. Thank you.
There's a facebook page about DE/Fossil shell flour and a man on there had really bad sinus problems and all kinds of ailments. The fossil shell flour may help. I ordered and it arrived today, I ordered it for my sinus problems as I have been tired, weepy and moody.
Parasites, bacteria and candida often run together. I have candida although I had all three in 2007 to 2009. This time I am not sure of anything except Candida. I started getting Crust in my nose for the 1st time in my life. Hurts and bleeds when I try and get it out of my nose. Sometimes I will get what feels like things in my nose coming up my throat into my sinuses and then crustifies. It is like an army marching. I believe it is candida. The interesting thing is I have light coating on my tongue but not anything behind epiglottis and part of my throat I can see. Best wishes. Stay strong my friend.
