About 4 weeks ago, I noticed classic pinworm symptoms...biting itch at night time...so decided to use over the counter Pin-x based on my weight.
Three days later, I started having abdominal pain, and just lived through it...but it kept getting worse and worse. 11 days after taking Pin-x I landed in ER with extreme abdominal pain...I thought it was my appendix based on the pain and location or ruptured ovary or something awful. Contrast CAT scan found nothing..just slight amount of blood and crystals in urine. Urology follow up was clear.
Now, I'm suffering with stomach pain and severe gas like symptoms. I can't pin it on anything particular that I eat, but just about everything just leaves me gassy and crampy.
I am not sure what is going on..and if a gastro-doc is next step. I totally associate it with the Pin-x, as I've never had this type of trouble before.
Did I totally mess up my system? I don't know enough to ask intelligent questions, actually. Tried eating yogurt but it hurts, oatmeal hurts, just about everything hurt...and did I mention gas? Just painful all the time. I eat just a little and wait for the pain now.
Where do I even begin to figure out how to get out of this? Anyone else have this sort of reaction? It feels like I dropped a bomb into my gut.
It sounds like you have more than pinowrms.
When one tries to kill the worms off they get mad and even..something is attacking your organs.
It could be pinworms and/or tapeworms. Tapeworms come out too and bite and cause anal itching.
The gas and bloating will not go away until you kill/rid the masses of parasites.
The pin-x is not the problem nor cause you harm..it is parasites.
They are silent until you threaten them.
Your colon has been suffering longer than you realize too as well as other organs.
Thank you Peppermintpaddy, for your reply. I'm horror-stricken, as I've never even contemplated this before now. I just looked up Side effects of Pin-X and found this site a not long ago. As time passes and I'm not better, I'm starting to really feel I've stirred up a nest of something.
Do you think Bentonite clay is a good option for the short term? I'm starting my research, and much of what I read hear is something I'm learning for the very first time.
Parasites have to be stirred up to locate them and ususally in the inital phase is when you discover some in various parts of the body as it their job to stay under the radar .
They run from the posion so take heed to saturate the body with poisons to them, systemically.(dewormers-herbs-drugs)
At least a straight month and then go from there..many theories, protocols..good luck
They can remain undetected for decades..when the deworming takes place..you will witness several kinds in the stools.
If I had to do it all over again before I stirred up the hornets nest I would invest in systemic and digestive enzymes first and continue these with treatment.
Zymessence and Dr. Wong.
There are others..I would research on enzymes and parasites.
Buluoke will cleanse the blood, loosen debri and Wobenzym N eats away what is lurking in the blood.
It is an individual choice as far as the herbal route and or drug route approach to treating parasites.
I am on both of these buluoke and Wobenzym N also digestive enzymes and I have made a noticable improvement in several weeks.
I cannot verify for now how much it has improved those that are disseminated at this point but I will contine both enzymes and begin treatment for those in the tissues again soon.
Myrrh acts the same assisting the liver and as a lung, blood cleanser.
Elecampane is excellent to target the lungs where they hatch and enzymes with seaprose that targets mucous.
I will try this next, the seaprose that is..
Buluoke is very powerful indeed. It depends , if you are very sick then I would suggest both to be taken together but spaced 2 hrs apart ( woben andd buluoke) and take digestive enzymes with meals as directed with apple juice to make it active..very important!
Or esle it is going down the drain to be on the safe side.
There are many to select from and that is an individual choice.
If you are not that infested, from head to toe, then I believe you can take other enzymes just make sure you take BOTH systemic and digestive.
REad Dr Wong and zymessence.
For flukes I would definetly add natural cures for cancer to my regime.coffee enemas, pro-oxidants, heavy minerals,b 17, b12, niacin, zinc, iron, idodine, bovine immune support, mag, VIT A,D3,C, probiotics..those and enzymes.
Pinworms are highly contagious as ascarsis and a few others ...
It is a living nightmare dealing with these.
Keep nails short
scrub underneath the nails after each restroom trip and before handling foods.
Bedding must be washed in hot water and underwear
bag clothes and sheets until they can be washed.
Gently fold bedding and clothes , do not shake them the eggs easily float and become airborne..they are very light.
They can be picked up anywhere..even walking down the street, kid you not.
Keep drapes and blinds open for sun exposure
Use seat covers or clean toilet immediately after use.
They can take over the body as many others do..don't care what the literature says or some doctors say..no big deal.
It is a very big deal indeed but typically there are more than pinworms lurking and a possible co-infection is present. This makes it even harder to rid the pinworms.
They could also be a resistant strain too today and harder to rid of by even megadoses of vermox/mebendazole, DE, pin x ...etc.
Never use your fingers, hands to rub your eyes, use a cloth, tissue instead, or even your shirt is safer.
Anal itching can be several things, pinworms, Tapeworms and even toxins leaking at the anal area.
Worms lay eggs and the eggs stick to your insides, so they won't come out when you poop. Also the egg shell prevents medicine from killing the larva. And the mother worms put off a hormone that prevents the babies from hatching out until after she dies, so she doesn't have to compete with her off spring for food. So you kill off a mother load, then her babies start to hatch out. Well some of them can lay 200,000 eggs per day. So you feel a little better at first, maybe, but then a few weeks later, you have a problem that is 10 times worse because there are ten times as many hatchlings breeding.
Getting rid of parasites and keeping them gone is a process. We deworm our cats. We deworm our dogs. We deworm the live stock. But we allow our kids and ourselves to host these demonic creatures until we are dying from cancer. Best time to deworm yourself and your children is around the full moon. Do it EVERY full moon. In about a year, your parasite load will be significantly less. You will feel much better. Then maybe quarterly or once every six months is plenty. LIsten to your body.
Thank you, Peppermintpaddy and Glaxony. I'm grateful for your input. I'm studying everything you wrote and will start the battle. I honestly can say I had NO IDEA. I have kids that have a guinea pig and hamster, and I'm sure now we are all just infested. I thought we were pretty clean...handwashing, vegetable washing and such, but the more I read, the more I'm aware that we are outside a lot, barefoot a lot, just exposed all the time.
Heavy sigh. I've taken some Bentonite clay because I happened to have it on hand to make toothpaste, and it seems to have helped with the gas. Guess it is on to the deworming.
Thanks again for your kind replies. Bless you for taking the time to help.
I know this is overwhelming but it is a long process in battling these and even if you do not have a hyperinfestation/co-infection it doesn't matter regaining your health or even staying healthy is costly..it takes knowledge and persistance.
good luck in your endeavers.
Pinworms are very bothersome. Ascarsis is very dangerous.
Pork Tapeworms attack the head, eyes and brain.
There are so many to discuss and to know about just keep reading/researching and be proactive.
I know you posted this forever ago... I hope things have cleared up for you! I just wanted to leave a note for you, or anyone else reading this thread, that pin-x contains aspartame, or phenylalanine- which can cause severe complications in people with PKU or the PKU gene. I don't know about just that single dose, but thought I'd mention it. Parasites are no fun, but just about everyone has them and its really crucial to get clean and stay clean, for our health and longevity. Blessings!
