I have just finished a 17 day course of herbal parasite cleanse, which seemed to work as I saw things and felt things.
Yesterday was the last day. Late in the evening I suddenly felt a strange fluttering or twitching in the area where my liver is. It happened on and off for a while, especially when I was sitting/slouching. It happened again this morning, but not as pronounced.
I drank quite a bit of organic/pure apple juice yesterday, but also quite a bit of dairy (VERY unusual for me). Is it stones moving? Parasites?
I just drank some lemon water to see if that helps flush anything out.
It's the strangest feeling, not painful at all, just really strange and almost annoying.
It's probably still a parasite infection, as they infect the liver also. 17 days is not long enough to do anything but stir them up and make room for more. You need to do several months probably. It could be that they went to the liver to hide from the parasite cleanse.
The liver takes alot of abuse while cleansing. It is working hard enough with everyday toxins, and cleansing can over-burden it. You could try coffee enema's or a liver flush.
Eek! Ok, I wasn't aware that it takes longer than that. Why do they only come in packs not long enough for the whole cleanse, then? I'll have to buy some more.
I have been wanting to do a liver cleanse, but read on this site that you need to do a parasite cleanse first otherwise you feel really sick. Also, is there an alternative to Epsom Salts ? I can't seem to find them in the UK.

I'm not sure why they don't give you enough for a total cleanse. Maybe because there was a time that a short cleanse would do the trick? - but today's parasites have adapted, plus are being made stronger by all the toxins and GMO's in the world. At the same time our immune systems are being made weaker by the same. It could also be all the dewormer/parasite medicine that livestock is given, which is then transferred to humans. Who knows.
Personally, I have not done a Liver Flush yet, I've been trying to prepare for one myself, but developed a blockage I have work through first. What I have read is that you can do the flush without the Epsom Salts , or drink magnesium citrate instead.
After 17 days I would think you would be ok to do a flush, also you could do coffee enema's, which help to stimulate the liver. I think they have been really helpful to me recently.
Yes, most of the bottles I've seen, at least on the internet, usually only have enough caps to last about two weeks or so. maybe a money making thing?
Do you think drinking coffee is as effective as a coffee enema? I drink coffee every morning, and find it usually makes me run to the bathroom about half an hour later.
I'm pretty sure there is something in my liver, parasite or stones. The past two nights (since the fluttering started) I haven't slept well and have woken up feeling a little nauseous around 1 or 2 am, especially last night. I find that strange because I took ornithine. Anyways, the nausea was so bad that I had to go and sit in the bathroom and force myself to drink a lot of water (for some reason the water made me feel sicker at first). I can't wait until these problems are resolved! Then again, they say it gets worse before it gets better, eh?
Can't find Epsom Salts in the UK........you need to ask for them! Go into most chemists and ask at the dispensary for them. they are normally "below" the counter so as to speak. really cheap £2-3 per pack/tub!
They are also good for putting in a footbath to ease tired and aching feet, as well as for starting a detox! would'nt be without them!
Hello Raglee, Epsom Salts was invented in england in the spa town of epsom, south of charring cross! its magnesium sulfate. Also, if you have access to magnesium oil from the zechstein sea, that is magnesium chloride, which works even better to raise magnesium levels transdermally.. so you can add it to the bath water or rub it on the body and then get into the bath and the warm water should drive it into the skin...
I would buy two bottles of chanca piedra (stone breaker) and drink 1 bottle per week. On the second week begin preparing for a Liver Flush with 1 quart unrefined organic apple juice (fresh is best) a day, omit all fats from your diet, load up on greens and alkaline foods, , continue parasite cleansing, eat 10+ cloves of raw organic garlic a day, and on the morning of your Liver Flush drink 100mL of castor oil with 80 drops wormwood/ Black-Walnut .
To be honest I feel it is a mistake to parasite cleanse before liver flushing. Why? because intrahepatic parasites can die and have no way of exiting the liver, clogging everything up even more. On the other hand, if you FIRST clear your liver with perhaps 3 or 4 effective flushes, you can be sure a pathway has been opened up to eliminate parasites. As a good example, there was a woman on this site who eliminated "pots full" of red liver flukes by consuming the 100mL castor oil and wormwood on the morning of the flush. BUT it was after 20 successful flushes. Can you imagine what would have happen if she provoked/killed all those flukes while still totally clogged with liver stones and sludge? THAT is how people get sick from flushing.
You may have opened up pandoras box and need to do BOTH now, with intensity and dedication. Really really load up on raw garlic and cooked onions as it will not only kill parasites but help desludge your liver.
That's a good point, I never thought of it that way. I always read that a parasite cleanse first was the way. But it does make sense that dead trapped parasites would make you feel sick.
I didn't have the sick feeling last night, and my liver was relatively quiet yesterday, no more twitching or pain, so I'm assuming whatever it is has made itself comfortable. Argh.
I have been drinking a lot of apple juice the past week anyways, and my diet is pretty healthy, so it should hopefully be ok. I have an actual phobia of being sick, but I'd rather get it done with and know that my liver is much cleaner than put up with it for awhile.
