I have been struggling with intestinal problems for about 3 months.
The problem seems to be until I eliminate all waste and then I feel better. I was seeing an applied kineseologist who said that my houston's valves - the valves that close the rectum from the large intestine were not closing properly.
Prior to the enema's I felt my usual sleepy/dizzy/ eye pain, blurred vision, sensitivity to light.
After the enema process, I felt instantly better. My body relieved, symptoms gone. There was white junk that came out in the enema. Sometimes I have little white balls in bowel movements and I had these in bowel movements this weekend, but I also had bowel movements of pure white junk from the Grape fruit seed extract enema.
I think I have leaky gut + bacterial imbalance which is causing endotoxins to be released. I also have the valve problem, and I think toxicity puts pressure on my liver which causes my problems and drains my adrenal glands.
I would like to have someone other opinions on this. I have many symptoms of candida, but they are the same symptoms as leaky guy, adrenal fatique, houston's valve problems.
I think this week I am going to look into getting tested, I guess with Geneva labs, regarding leaky gut. In the past I tested with Metametrix twice but still have the ongoing problem.
Also, I have read so many threads on here and the internet as a whole and there seems to be no consensus on what the white stuff is that comes out!
I have had tons of tests with medical dr's, seen nature paths, and have made progress finding some things and fixing them along the way. But I have not been able to get it right, and have tried so many things, I am working to narrow down a final diagnosis so I am not working in the dark.
I have fatigue, generally problems around the eyes, I am toxic at times during the day to the point that I get heat rash if getting hot prior to a bowel movement. After a bowel movement I often feel better - the floaters/eye pain disapears. but it always comes back. I have many other typical symptoms of bowel problems - listed on all the webpage and here - but the biggest difference seems to be the rashes/eye pain that come prior to bowel movements and then go away.
If anyone could help point me in the right direction I would be much appreciated. I have tried many things.
It certainly sounds like you're describing fungal balls which are fungal form yeast in a biofilm that form in the gut lumen but don't attach to the walls. They are very different than mucus, ranging from very white to off white, with distinct to slightly smeared borders and almost look like you've passed a chunk of feta cheese or styrofoam.
Hopefully the Genova test will give you a clear answer.
I was recommended about 9 months ago that i may be an ICV problem.... I think it may have been you who said it now that I remember :) Thanks so much.
So I go to an applied kineseologist in London, where I had just moved to, and he tests that valve correct but my houston valve as problematic using muscle testing.
He would push it shut forcefully in an upwards motion - and as he would do it my eyes would crack and pop and feel better as he was pushing. They would clear up instantly, and my body would feel as if I just went to the sauna or had an epsolm salt detox bath.
I am now trying to press it myself, but it is difficult so I will see a kineseologist locally now back home in the United States.
Anyway my theory, apparently from reading I have done, it is a lot more to it than just waste coming back into the body - but that it can lead to a disfunction of the intestines, leading the bacteria to get out of balance and release endotoxins and other waste into my body which makes me sick.
Very interesting, and amazing that they are able to adjust it externally. That must have been intense.
I think you're right about the bacterial overgrowth and resulting endotoxins. That was a big part of my problem - colonic bacteria growing in the small bowel. It's remarkable how bad they can make you feel.
Some of those bacteria are only susceptible to bile, so I recommend you look into that as one of the ways to push them back into the colon.
Well if you push upwards from the outside of the houston valve, you can feel the improvement instantly. It takes a lot of strength and is difficult to do on your own. It is kind of amazing how you can feel the improvement instantly.
Also problematic was the fact that the valves would stay open in time.
He would also do some back corrections if necessary, recommend a few herbs (its amazing how he can test the streng needed - milk thistle for toxicty and licorice root for adrenal glands), do some accupressure rubbing on my head.
What are you doing to combat your bacteria overgrowth in your small intestine/increase bile?
I am thinking that just like the stomach valve not closing causes acid reflux because the body is trying to release the contents out due to imbalance in the stomach (high HCL/indigestion?); so too this valve on the other end is not shutting due to gut microflora imbalance. That could also be causing leaky gut. And the toxins in the body could be causing Adrenal fatigue as that gland releases cortisol (and other hormones) to reduce the toxicity. And the liver also gets more and more congested with all the crap in the blood. So its all interconnected?
Perhaps you should try something like fermented foods that are supposed to help the whole GI tract recover like Kefir, Sauerkraut, cultured veggies etc. They also kick the candida/yeast out. Check out the body ecology diet.
I think that is definitely along the right lines. It is all connected.... but the part that effects me the most is the eyes. Yes the bowel movement problems, bloating, pressure in that area is annoying... but when your vision is blurred, eyes sting, or are so tired you can't stay awake - that effects everything.
I am going to my gastro dr. to request geneva testing, and if she declines, find a provider that offers it.
I also spoke to some more people today about taking high dosages of acidephilus and some kind of cholorine to get my PH alkaline to promote healing.
It is all interconnected. I don't know what is causing what at this point.
I also am planning on starting some colustrum and bought some today.
The enemas are helping, I jsut don't want to do them too much.
I have made kefir before, and will start again soon. I drink store bought, but I know it is not the same. I am moving in 6 weeks so don't want to get the operation of kefir growing set up until I am squared away.
Thanks for the feedback. What are you currently working on?
My current thing is to decongest my liver and get the bile flowing. My blood/body is heavily toxic to the point that I can't tolerate 90% of vitamins or supplements. I am planning a daily coffee enema ritual.
Regarding kefir, Have you thought of Water Kefir? Very simple and cheap to make. Check this video out:
I felt candida die off effects with as little as 4 ounces of kefir which was fermented for 3 days. Powerful stuff.
It seems your problem has to do with perforated lining of the gut because you feel relief after voiding; your body doesn't want the waste/food in your intestines. The waste maybe irritating the lining and the body feels its better out than in so you have trouble closing the sphincter. I have read about a 3 day fast on Slippery Elm Bark- Gruel dramatically improving leaky gut/ intestinal shape. I haven't tried it, but if you're looking for quick relief it maybe something to consider. Search CZ for "slippery elm bark fast". If I had this issue, I would do a colonic/colon cleanse followed by slippery elm gruel fast followed by adding fermented foods into my diet. Good Luck!
Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it.
I am going to get on kefir for sure very soon. Just started colostrum, terminator 2 zapping, and some probiotics a couple of days ago.
Have you tried epsolm salt baths and/or sauna for detox? How did your body get so toxic? I feel with coffee enemas that the caffeine does get into the body and drains the adrenals. I used to do them alot, but I have heard lots of people had good results from them.
What do you feel when you feel candida die off?
And by the way, I have done some research on slippery elk barm gruel - and I am going to do it for sure. I am a bit busy now with testing and work, but in about a month and a half I will have time to focus on it entirely. Thanks for your information. I have never even heard of a spincter and now need to look at that as well. Do you know a good source on the basics of the slippery elm bark protocol?
