The say muscle twitching can be from low magnesium. So i had mine tested and it was fine. What else can twitching be caused from? Mine is more like little jumps all over my body. they dont stay in one spot for more than one or two quick jumps. What can these be caused by ? Parasites moving ? Or my muscles filled with toxins from the parasites? candida or parasites ? Anyone acually ever cure themselves of this ? What was it ? My body feels like its being poisioned. All full of parasites or candida or something. Man im so sick of this.
I have had tis muscle twitching problem for a long time. It seems to be worse when I am tired, don't sleep well or have some flare up of symptoms related to intestinal dysbiosis. I have come to believe that toxins are released in to the blood stream from Bad bacteria in the gut, or if you prefer, candida. My legs, eyelids and various other muscles twitch and it feels as though something is terribly wrong. I have tried to live with it, but I know it is another reason to believe that this illness is frustratihg and difficult to understand and control. I wish I could offer more help. I have tried magnesium supplementation but any meaningful amount seems to cause diarrhea. I do believe if Dysbiosis can be corrected then these muscle twitching problems will dissapear. Dysbiosis, as we all have come to understand, is not easilly cured. Hang in there. We are all in the same boat.
Sometimes muscles twitches are just from a bad joints. they can happen anywhere if a bone is stressed. The muscles just twitch. Neurological sort of. spasms. Sometimes its deceiving where the twitches are coming from.
Hips can do it, legs can jump, jaws.. Happens all the time. I wouldnt worry about it. It will eventually stop and correct itself. C
I have twitching too. I have had complete neurological work ups up done at The Mayo Clinic, Rush University and at Northwestern University. No one could find any reason for it. I have concluded it is the toxins in the blood stream. It may also be your body dealing with allergies caused by a fungal issue.
My brother also had this and doesn't have it anymore. What he did was clean up his diet, take a good probiotic, started eating more meat, exercise/weight lifting. He sweat with his exercise. He still suffers with a bit of yeast but no longer has the muscle twitching. He eats like a normal person now.
He looks about 8 years younger now than he did when he was at his worst.
I think one of the biggest things that helped him get better was getting over his depression and stress.
Hope this helps!
I think the best route for males to take would be to try to increase you testosterone naturally. He has also mentioned oregano oil but he did not go overboard with it. I think his main cause of yeast was stress and worry. If you stress or worry about everything as well that is the first thing you need to fix.
He pretty much had every symptom in the book including rash type yeast infection in his groin area. He also had the same type of rash on his hands and neck. That along with thrush, twitching etc.
We were actually talking about this the other day and he swears by exercise (sweating) body building, eating more meat, taking a good probiotic, a clean strict diet to start and then adding stuff in gradually. Get rid of your stress! That sounds like all he really did which doesn't seems like much but he is way less stressed than he used to be and in my opinion is why he is 99% better.
Hope this helps! Get some kefir grains and start making kefir!
I have muscle twitching currently...same as you described, pimples on my scalp that itch and are causing hair loss, and an inflammed pelvis area with pain that comes and goes. I've been 'diagnosed' with Candida overgrowth and prostatitis.
It's been so long that its hard to recall how this all started. First, I experienced extreme pain in my testical, it was soo bad I went to a M.D., he Rx'd a heavy antibiotic for 2 weeks. (I had no idea then what I was doing, I put blind faith into an M.D.) The antibiotic did nothing to help me. Then he Rx'd me another 2 weeks of a different heavy antibiotic. That did nothing also!!! (EXCEPT GIVE ME CANDIDA OVERGROWTH)
I went for an ultrasound of my testicle, they couldn't see anything that would cause pain. The only thing that provided relief was the pain meds. (temporary relief only and now I wont take the pain meds so I can protect my liver from further damage) My candida got worse (at this point I didnt know what was going on) I developed thrush, a very disturbing feeling in the mouth. The yeast also caused discomfort from the anus. Tinactin spray from the store worked for an hour at the most.
I developed very very sore soles on the bottoms of my feet. I could hardly walk. I picked up some shoe inserts at a health expo, they massage your feet as you walk, they helped a lot and that problem went away eventually.
I had a CT scan which provided no new information except a HUGE new bill to pay.
I developed food allergies seemingly overnight. After some expensive G.I. scopes, I eliminated wheat products and gluten from my diet (this helped a lot). Wheat is in nearly everything! Every bread product seems to have wheat. I also eliminated foods that are not compatible with my blood type. Everytime I tell people their blood type determines which foods they should eat, I think it blows their minds. It's true, eating the foods beneficial to my blood type have helped a lot also. More importantly, you have to AVOID foods that are harmful to your blood type. Wheat is on the list of foods to avoid for my blood type (O+).
Did I mention people think I'm crazy for eating the way I do or for the way I talk about things re: doctors and the shitty way the MD's DONT cure people.
I went to a kinesiologist and a Natural Doctor. I was prescribed herbs and natural supplements to take. This helped the most! Each day I felt stronger and stronger. (Did you know congress wants to take these supplements away from the people and make them prescription only??!!?!?!?!?) Codex Alimentarius its called. The only thing that saved me from death...they want to take away! We live in the twilight zone and its getting worse!
My best attempt at killing Candida so far has been the use of an enzyme supplement from Enzymedica called "Candidase". I took that along with a Digestion supplement of theirs.
Eating way less carbs, eating more meat and taking enzymes before meals and on an empty stomach almost knocked out my candida. Once you feel 'better' dont eat Sugar of any type. Raisins in trail mix sent me into relapse. My pot belly was almost gone. I get on the horse and try again.
Sorry about the book, hope something I wrote helps! If you have anything that sounds the same as me, let me know. I'm trying to connect the dots.
wow that post could almost have been written by me, sooo much of it is the same story!
Did you ever get to the bottom of it?
I had the same, testicular pain in left side, kinda like stabbing pains, got put on ciprofloxacin for a month. Towards the end of that month started to feel really ill, extreme fatigue mainly, and aches and pains.
Had scans and bloods done and showed nothing, also saw urologist and rheumatologist who could see nothing significant.
This got worse and worse but at the time I attributed it all to epidydimitis/orchitis, so the doctors kept moving me onto different antibiotics. 9 weeks of trimethoprim, then four weeks of doxycycline and flagyl combined (plus another one they injected into my backside!).
After 3+ months on antibiotics I was in a real mess. Could barely walk on the worst days, as if I had extreme arthritis (mostly foot pain around the ankles) couldn't hold head up was so weak, and huge muscle twitches. Felt like my whole body had been poisoned.
Also had thrush externally, in mouth, on genitals and around anus and finally made the connection between the antibiotics and the way I was feeling.
Pretty sure I am suffering from a bigtime candida overgrowth situation as so many of the symptoms fit (also have bad sinuses, allergies, migraines, sensitivity to light etc).
Have now been on an anti candida diet for a month and just starting probiotics and antifungals.
Did you fully get better and can you tell me exactly what you did? ie what diet, what herbs/supplements etc.
And did you ever get to the bottom on the testicular pain? Did that go? i still have a nagging pain, but no idea if it's connected to candida or anything else.
Any more info would be great as this is the first time I've found someone with a similar story.
im currently going through the same magnesium infusions helped but didnt cure the twiching. Avkindeologist diagnosed candida and parasites after msny other tests failed to diagnose it. I have missed beats depression anxiety prostatitis tinnitis white tongue thirdty light sensitive fast heart fatigued unfrefreshed sleep. Flatulant pale floating stools itchy skin. Red mark's body which are itchy. Been very very strict with diet tried every supplement going including nystatin which ive been on for 3 months to no avail. Have you or anybody had this situation. Mine started with ibs symptoms as a teenager then achey testicals and prostatitis.
thanks from uk also
Hi, I would just like to suggest that you may just be having a reaction to the Cipro itself. Look up not just the side effects stated by the FDA but what people actually report. My personal story: Two years ago I was prescribed Cipro for a UTI. It cleared it up and I don't remember having any side effects "while taking it." However three weeks later I was hit overnight literally by anxiety, panic attack that lasted literally two weeks straight. Insomnia, slept every third day. Heart palpitations, no appetite, diarrhea, nausea, sound sensitivity, eye floaters, depression, fear of being alone, muscle weakness, adrenaline surges, intense headaches where I actually heard my cranial bones shift and crunch. Intense pain in my teeth. All these symptoms slowly got better and would cycle. It would get worse around the beginning of my monthly cycle (I'm female). But the symptoms never went away. Was still suffering from anxiety, heart palpitations and insomnia for two years after Cipro. After a year of not know what was wrong with me and countless doctors MD's and Functional medicine doctor I thought I had candida. Started natural antifungals (coconut oil), probiotics, autoimmune diet for 6 months. Started Nystatin, fecal transplants enemas after another 6 months. I felt worse when I did these things but just though it was the "yeast die off." I realized that I had a undiagnosed UTI again last month. Urine just had a bad smell and I felt sick. Urine culture showed Group B strep. Was treated with Amoxicallin. I immediately felt better. However two months later the smell came back and this time the culture was Pseudonomas which can only be treated with Cipro and IV drugs. Funny thing when I started researching my symptoms I stumbled on a Cipro poisioning message board. Symptoms are VERY similar to Candida. But I told myself that couldn't possibly be my problem because I had never taken it. Looked up my medical records and low and behold yes I did take it not three weeks before my health went to shit. Side effects with Cipro do not happen right away. It can take months before symptoms occur. I was extremely reluctant to take the Cipro this time because I didn't want to let the Candida get worse and I was really worried about the side effects of it. Took one pill three weeks ago. Six hours later I started having joint pain, extreme tingling in my extremities, muscle pain and weakness. I can't walk very well now and are again dependent on sleep aids to get any rest. I would suggest that any one who thinks they have a Candida problem think about the possibility that the reactions are caused by Cipro itself. That shit is poison and has ruined my life. Ask yourself if you took Cipro and then had a deterioration of your health afterward. Oh your immune system will never be the same after it. Had a functioning immune system before typical response to viruses bacteria. Now I am more susceptible to UTI's and don't have any symptoms much like a pregnant woman (Th2 dominant). Haven't had a single upper respiratory infection in two years. But wounds are extremely slow in healing. Also have ringworm which none of my family have caught (they have functional immune systems).
Hey you guys. Sometimes twitching is like neurological. It CAN come from and injured joint,or muscle. sometimes thats all it is. I have had twitching hip muscles, eye.(have tmj) so sometimes its just a joint thing. It doesnt have to be candida. cindy
