Pioneer I have read your posts about med withdrawal. I was only on a benzo for about 3 weeks several yrs ago. However I had been on many psyc meds for 14 consecutive yrs. I have taken most of the anti-depressants and the mood stabilizer lamictal. I have been off all drugs for 3 yrs.
I am just wondering what are the symptoms of the protracted withdrawal. How do you know if it is parasite die-off or drug withdrawal? I do take 6 charcoal when I am having lots of die-off but maybe I should just take it everday.
Here's a little of the research information I have come up with. Doc Sutter is aware of what the findings are. I am sort of a pioneer thru this, so will give you what I've found according to what I think YOU are up against, personally.
The benzo drugs are what causes the worst of the central nervous system symptoms when they come out. You had only been on them for 3 weeks, therefore I don't think you are going to have to worry about many of the symptoms.
On a side note right now---
A lot of us who had bad livers suffered from panic attacks and might have been on the benzo drugs for a while. Some of us for years. I was on them for 5.5 years steady before I got off them. They are horrible poisons. I am going to get blatently truthful here and tell you THESE DRUGS WERE FORMULATED TO SHUT THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM DOWN. I went thru about 6 weeks of very disabling central nervous symptoms. It started out with a kind of hearing problem that made me a little deaf. My hearing is quite normal. otherwise. The worst of the symptoms started WITH the cellular detox about 6 weeks ago today. 12/06/10. I am still suffering from the effects of them, BUT they are not as disabling now. They DO still limit my physical abilities at this point in time. I am not sure how long it will take to get them out of my spinal cord and brain. For anyone who has taken them, I can say to just be patient and the symptoms WILL abate. Don't get discouraged, either. You WILL come thru this. Doc has said "whatever went in HAS to come out".
Perhaps I shouldn't spare you of what the symptoms are from the benzo detox in this post. What they do when they come out is put extreme pressure inside the brain and spinal cord. They pull on the spinal cord, lock the neck and head up and try to pull it down between your shoulder blades. It feels like the drugs are literally pulling the spinal cord out of the body. It is rather painful. Essentially they put a lot of pressure on the breathing and heart. I could only take baby steps and walk very slowly for over a month bacause any pumping action of the cerebral spinal fluid would lock my legs up so I wasn't able to walk. The drug wants to come out fast, so another thing it does is bloat the intestines and put pressure on the breathing for a while. The charcoal stops that. The pressure is felt in both the brain and spine and also in the intestines. These drugs went thru the intestines and left their residue there to begin with. Very nasty stuff. I attribute most of this to benzo detox.
If benzos isn't what you were mostly poisoned with, you won't have to worry about these symptoms so much, but you most assuredly will have some unpleasant symptoms that you will feel in the central nervous system for probably a couple of months. I'm guestimating at the time the worst of it will last. I don't want to scare anyone, but I think you need to be prepared and know "this, too, shall pass".
If you have taken any of the SSRI's that have a half life, they ARE still packed in your brain and spinal cord, your tissues and perhaps your bones, depending on how bad off your liver and colon were at the time of initial detox and how much of the drugs you could detox in the initial detox 3 years ago. This goes for all drugs, but because of the half life of these drugs and the amount you may have packed away, they get gone much slower.
The symptoms I experienced BEFORE I started the cellular detox and was still cleaning the colon and liver I wasn't able to relate to benzo detox, except I had periods of time when I was very tired and couldn't wake up very well and slept most of the day.
The detox goes on at a very slow pace after the symptoms stopped that you are probably unaware of since the symptoms DID stopp with the initial detox. The drugs are still are in your brain and spinal cord to an extent.
What you are doing when you are cleaning out your liver and colon is detoxing more of these drugs. They are in your liver and also packed into the colon wall junk. Plus the other places I mentioned. There is a bigger concentration of them around the liver and in the colon under the liver.
Since my colon and liver has been clean, the cellular detox has speeded up. This means they started coming out of my brain and spinal cord, plus all the other tissues of my body, but it's in the brain and spinal cord that the miserable symptoms are felt. I am probably detoxing both the benzo and the zoloft I took for under a year as a replacement for the deseryl I was on for 5.5 years. Zoloft is a SSRI with a half life. Any drug with a half life takes longer to detox and they are associated with some unplesant symptoms when they do come out.
This is why I recommend a little charcoal going in all the time because it will help to pull those toxins out. Taken 2 hours on both sides away from meals so you don't take out any good nutrients your body needs.
The other thing I highly recommend is to do Dr. Sahley's protocol (from the Pain and Stress Center) for detoxing an also rebuilding the brain and nervous system. Also something to support the heart. That's her Super BNCG that helps balance brain and body chemistry, natural B6 and taurine that's both an antidepressant a help to the heart. Then, the natural acerola cherry helps the liver produce glutathione that will help detox these drugs. I also added some COQ10 for a while. All help the heart during the worst of the detox.
One of the best things to help the brain and central nervous system is Brian Peskin's Omega 6 and 9 that the body can convert into Omega 3. Cconut oil (info from Doc) is also very good at healing the central nervous system.
So, I've given you what I can that has helped me immensely and what I recommend from my own personal experience in healing myself of what the psycotrpic drugs did.
Remember, you don't have a drug deficiency. It could never happen. But you CAN get very, very poisoned by the drugs. You were poisoned from the start, and that's why you started feeling depressed.
If you've got panic attacks, you've got bugs, so do the extra L ornithine, too, that will help you neutralize the ammonia from the bugs that are overstimulating the adrenal glands.
Depression isn't a dis-ease. It's that you're loaded up with toxins and have brain fog that you need to get rid of by cleaning your body out. Drugs poison and pollute the cellular environment, were invented by the drug companies to TAKE YOU OUT PERMANENTLY! One drug calls for another to cover up the syumptoms the first drug caused. So get wise and VERY smart. NO DRUGS and clean out the body of the poisonous stuff and put the proper nutrients in there that will eventually heal it.
It's only once in a lifetime you have to do it. When you're done, you're free.
I hope this will help all who are detoxing this type of drugs.
Yes I do agree that these drugs are designed to kill!
The reason for my question is that off and on I get this feeling of dread and exhaustion. Like I just can't handle anymore exterior stimulation. It is accompanied by a lack of confidence and self worth. Feeling depressed and wanting to isolate. I often felt like this while on meds. The fatigue has been an ongoing problem for me.
Often the next morning I would have a large bm and the feelings would all go away. I would be back to my normal self.
I only had panic attacks when I was on a huge dose of Wellbutrin. They lasted for a few days and when I lowered the dose they went away. I have been on most of the SSRI's. What a mistake. I became sicker and they just kept giving me more meds. I had 7 psychiatrists tell me that I would be on meds the rest of my life.
Three yrs ago I knew I was dying. I knew I had to get off everything. My heavens this has been quite the journey.
I am going to take the charcoal daily. I always feel much better the day after I take it.
Well Pioneer I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will read and reread your post. It is kind of a bitter pill to think the road ahead may be a little rough but I am also grateful that you are here to share with us.
Depression and tiredness is part of the detox. Especially the drug detox. Do the nutriets I mentioned from Dr. Sahley and they will help you a lot. They help a lot over time. Make sure the rest of the nutrients/supplements this program recommends are in place, too.
Yeah, this IS quite a journey, but be convinced every step of the way is worth it. One day at a time. It's all progress. You wont have to retrace those steps ever again. UNLESS of course you allow yourself to get poisoned again.
You'll be pretty healthy before you're completely done this program, but don't stop before you reach the finish line.
Healing is indeed probable if you do all this. Don't become discouraged. Keep faith. All your body wants to do is be healthy. It doesn't know any other way, so keep going. Get rid of ALL the poisons and let your body and mind be in the best of health from then on for as long as you live. It will be the most wonderful gift you can ever give yourself. You can't be lied to anymore. And you'll be free! Walk with us until you get there.
You've been POISONED, POISONED, POISONED AND LIED TO BIG TIME! Psychological problems ARE resolved by this program. Somebody in your background must have told you that you were worthless and you sought refuge in drugs.
Feelings of tiredness come from feelings of worthlessness, but it's because you have been parasited and drug poisoned. Another reason: people around us who influence us also may have poisonous personalities. Don't you believe a word of it about being worthless. Do you WANT to be worthless? I don't hear that coming from you. Just keep on cleaning your body out. You will begin to understand that the ones who are making you feel worthless may be the ones you will have to separate yourself from. OR this may be something in your past that you will be able to resolve once your body gets a little cleaner and your mind gets a little more detoxed from the drugs.
There is no refuge in drugs. They're a terrible trap. They will destroy you. They come from the lies propogated by the medical. So HOW many of your psyciatrists want their pockets lined a little more at the expense of your health??? Think about it. This is what THEY want. They want you to accept the lies that it's all your fault. It's NOT.
Come on, Onward. You're going to be a while at this, but don't get discouraged. How badly do you want your health and your life back?
I'm still here and I am not going to let them win. You can detox these drugs and feel better than you ever have felt in your whole life, but it's going to take some work on your part and some support from other people who have gone thru this before you.
Well I certainly do want my health back. I will keep moving forward no matter what.
I certainly do not feel worthless. When I was placed on meds 17 years ago I was dealing with childhood sexua| abuse. All I needed at that time was some therapy and support. Unfortunately I was told to go on meds. I really was in bad shape at that time and then continued to get worse on their poisons. You know the brainwashing that takes place.
So in the last 3 yrs I have gone off all meds, stopped eating all wheat, dairy, sugar and processed foods, juiced greens, sweated, excercised, flushed my liver, cleansed my colon, killed loads of parasites, had my dental amalgams removed, detoxed for heavy metals, stopped using body lotions and make-up, got rid of all chemicals from my home, prayed, cried, laughed, screamed, posted on CZ, researched and researched, found an alternative doctor, chiropractor and a few other things.
I do feel I will never stop seeking wellness. I am like a dog with a bone. Not to worry about me giving up.
