Please be aware that I'm learning and may change my mind about decisions due to feedback from posters and my learning curve.
The criteria I use as I sit here deciding what to do is: would I want these things said to me or about my loved ones? The written word can defame the character of individuals and groups both within and also outside the Curezone community. What may seem inoffensive to you may seem offensive to others.
Here's a tip for you: before clicking the send button, you could read your post aloud, so you can hear how it might sound to others. And you can think about whether you'd want it said to or about you or your friends or family.
Here are the guidelines I'm doing my best to follow:
"You agree to not use the Service to:
• "stalk", "annoy", "irritate" or otherwise harass CureZone members
• "stalk", "annoy", "irritate", "attack", "accuse", "threaten", "abuse", "defame", "harm" or otherwise harass CureZone moderators
• harm minors in any way;
• make available any content that is hateful, abusive, harassing, offensive, threatening, defamatory, libelous, harmful, vulgar, obscene, unlawful or otherwise objectionable, especially content with generalized statement(s) about members of any nation, religion, ethnic group, minority, race, gender, profession, age group, or any other similar large group of people, incluiding but not limiting to Americans, Dutch, Homosexuals, Christians, Moslems, American Natives, African Americans, Jews, Russians, Mexicans, Gypsies, Caucasians, Arabs, Latinos, Chinese, Asians, Africans, Sami, etc"
"Don't do upon others what you wouldn't have them do upon you."
So far it seems the use of verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns etc are the new fodder fro breaking TOS.
All we ALL wanted was personal attacks to stop not an ushering in of a new thought police regime where any sensitive material can no longer be investigated for fear it may not measure up to a love and light brigade from planet agenda.
This has gone way over board.
When the word "men" is removed from a post we have hit a new low in censorship.
I will congratulate you though. In a weird and unsuspected way you have brought all forums members together against a common cause. ;-)
