I INTERRUPT THIS FORUM FOR ONE TOOTIN' MINUTE!
Maybe I'm just a little tired - - maybe my eyes need new glasses, or a couple of slices of cucumber -
BUT,.....did I just happen to catch someone actually insinuating that they are ME??? Am I a "victim" of identity theft here on Curezone?
As far as I know that person is not a CZ moderator, and even in the event he were, he absolutely does not have privileges for the forum in question:
Let the record show, I am certainly NOT that poster, nor anyone else that any of you have seen posting recently anywhere, other than Moderator5a5.
Impersonating a moderator is very, very serious BS!
I did a double take on that myself, but then when I looked at it I decided that no one insinuated that they were a moderator so much as that it could have been taken that way, which at least one person did and then their post was answered without correcting the misconception (thus making it even easier to make such an assumption). Probably a good thing you made things clear.
I don't mean to jump in on another moderator's answer, but I note that "shit head" did not seem to be a very "Christian" reply. Personally I don't see the need for name calling or abusive language on any forums, but the Debate forums have always been a bit rough and tumble. In addition to the admonition about the first person who resorts to attacking the messenger losing the debate, member are also warned to stay out of such forums if they don't like being exposed to attacks and acrimony.
In my private forum and the support forum I moderate, I won't tolerate attacks or foul language, but neither of those are debate forums. I do agree that those who resort to personal attacks and slurs in any forum undermine their credibility. In that regards, perhaps it is good that some leeway is allowed in the debate forums so that such actions can give the loss of credibility that is deserving of resorting to the low road instead of actually debating civilly.
Just my two cents, as this is not my forum and I too have to take the verbal sticks and stones if I dare venture here.
Neither is Feeble Utterances Cannot Keep Your Obfuscations Unrevealed foul language, but you likely wouldn't want to use the acronym in church.
Somehow I just don't think you intended to call the poster a "Ship High in Transit Head".
The verse in Malachi may have implied an action that quite literally would have made someone a shit head, but nowhere in the Bible can I find an instance of someone being pejoratively referred to as a shit head.
Hey, look - it's a ship high in transit beetle!
