Exact situation here. Mind, didn't want to be so open, so freely spoken. Surely, you have heard of "Indian discrimination" here. I believe, it is not white ones who are attacking them, but their political enemies from back home. Just like for example the old situation that never went away with Croats v Serbs, etc. I am a migrant to this country, but never felt any "racism" here. This word is used too often and out of context of late. Aussies are anything but racist!
if australians 'can't afford to have babies', it has little to do with indian or muslim immigrants and a whole lot to do with market deregulation and globalisation. the divide between the working poor and the rich becomes greater all the time, world over.
and what information do you base this comment on exactly?
>> 'Then they stage a hunger strike, put the kids within view, teach them to beg to be let into country. Once in, stupid pollies pay them 5 grand for each child they have. Of course, they have one each year.' <<
Alot has been going on in Australia lately affecting "social cohesion" with the host country having teething problems with new 3rd world immigrants and asylum seekers.
But don't forget "the problem" of so called racism goes both ways. People from other countries bring their particular brands of racism, bigotry, caste systems, sexism, and ways of doing particular things here without Australians asking them to change (because we've been thoroughly brainwashed with "diversity"); and then often these new arrivals accuse white Australians of racism, bigotry and treating them unfairly.
And abit of background, many Melbournians were thoroughly pissed off recently when Indians caused the city to essentially shut down by staging a full day sit-in in the middle of the city centre, also defacing certain landmarks, accusing white Australians of racism because there had been a small numbers of so named "curry bashings". Meanwhile there were concurrent cases recorded in the media of white Australians getting bashed and raped by new immigrants, but no outcry on this one.
There were reports that too, that in the case of the "curry bashings" it was immigrants bashing other immigrants and in this case, likely to be Pakistanis bashing Indians, not white australians bashing Indians but this didn't get much media attention as it didn't fit the narrative of white racism. Instead white Australians were told they were racists, and to get with the diversity program. We all felt appropriately guilty.
Noone staged a protest for the Sydney girl that was sexually assaulted by two Indians on a train from Melbourne to Sydney in the city; nothing was said about that. Instead, our Primeminister apologised profusely to the Indian Govt: We are not racist he pleased! Please don't stop sending your kids here to spend money in our education system and then stay on as permanent residents!
This is just one example of some Australians saying, racism, bigotry, and "unfair" treatment goes BOTH ways.
Just one tiny example of the simmering diversity situation we've got ourselves into.
you're right same is happening in US. Minority tells us what to do! I'm sick of it already, and because of stupid wrongly understood tolerance whites are afraid to say something against blacks or indians because of possible accusations of being racists.
