I have had a chronic problem with my gum tissue disappearing over time and I have less and less. My gums are always swollen and I have excellent dental care habits. I started Oil Pulliing. But soon I will not have anything in between my teeth or around my teeth. Is there anything that will help grow back gum tissue? I think I have yeast in my mouth but not 100% sure. My dentists/perios don't have any idea why I am loosing so much gum tissue. I hope there is something out there that will grow back tissue. If anyone can help please let me know soon. Thank you.
Give OP some time, and at least it might be able to arrest the recession. If the recession is bacteria based, then it will help for sure.
You know I've started taking Food Grade (Permaguard) Diatomaceous Earth. I can't even believe what this is doing for my hair, nails and skin. I've read that it does amazing things for dental health too. Might be something you should google and see if it's for you.
The best way to take it is put a tablespoon in pure water. It will saturate the water, and you keep adding more water. Change the earth every 6 months or so. It's very cheap.
My gums were beginning to recede according to measurements taken by the dentist. They were always bloody when the dentist cleansed them.
After daily using the philips sonicare tooth brush my gums have measurably returned to normal. It's an ultrasonic cleaner. It stimulates the gums, cleanses the teeth way better and kills the germs with the vibrational frequency.
My hollistic dentist told me that any power toothbruth will inevitably cause gum recession. I'm 25 years old and have been using a sonicare for a year and an oral B triumph and 9000 series for 4 years before that and my gum recession is worse than most 35 year olds. I started oil pulling 3 days ago in hopes that it may help.
I'm not sure the sonicare did it, but I'm not ruling anything out.
Use Dr Richard Schulze 's Tooth and Gum formula (you can buy it at his website, HerbDoc.com). Dr Schulze is interviewed in the book, "Curing with Cayenne" and, in it, he talks about growing your gum back with this cayenne-based formula. In the book, he says to mix the formula with water in a waterpik and then use the waterpik to apply the diluted formula to your gums. He suggests you run the waterpik with just water (I think he said for 30 seconds) after use to stop the formula from causing your waterpik to break down. On his website, he says you can also out the formula directly on your toothbrush and he lists other usage suggestions.
