ive done slipped up again, epic fail. once i have any bad food im binging for the night.
a friend gave me this book by
jordan s. rubin called "the maker's diet" about older foodways (specifically the isrealites), and basically including live, fermented, enzyme filled foods in the diet
it sounds alot like the body ecology diet that someone posting yesterday said cured them...
so far ive been doing the candida diet and anti-fungals and it got me to a good plateau...but didnt cure...im still left dehydrated all the time, which i think is because of a persistant coating of candida on the bowels that impedes osmosis or diffusion of minerals (just my theory because i find more often than not my food cravings are actually hydration cravings, but i cant figure out how to hydrate, more water makes me thirsty, or salt water works a little bit or swishing works better than anything, but its all to much stress and my body just wants water, but it cant assimilate it-i just pee after drinking). i feel like if i figure out how to hydrate i wouldnt have cravings and id feel good enough to cure myself, but they are one in the same maybe...any ideas?
so rubins was healed of chrons disease (something unheard of- he was going to have his bowels removed surgically) and all his other dysbiosis from live foods and special probiotics called soil-based-organisms(SBO's)...like they are some miracle if combined with good diet-they eat candida and all the other bad stuff supposedly. i am mid book now.
anyone heard of these, experienced them? i have never seen them anywhere, though it reminds me of humic fulvic acid...that chelator/mineral stuff...
but i tink ima try it...only problem is that im sensitive /allergic to some fermented things: vinegar, kombucha, citric acid
hopefully i can tolerate keifer and saurkraut as i am hoping they will be my savoirs
WOW this sounds alot like me. I am dehydrated alot and I have a problem with vinegar, citric acid , etc. I am having problems with minerals. I feel more dehydrtated if I take them.
Someone told me to take Primal Defense. Have you tried that and tell me what you think of it?
I just ordered some saukeraut fermented and I am wondering if it will bother me. I had a stool analysis and I really need some good bacteria, but don't know how to get it. I am allergic to so much including dairy.
You can get fermented foods without vinegar. Bubbies has dill pickles with no vinegar and they include the beneficial bacteria. Their sauerkraut supposedly has beneficial bacteria but other people prefer another brand, Rejuvenate Foods, made without having to heat the cabbage. I prefer the Bubbies sauerkraut because it not only tastes better but the cost is less than half of the other brand.
Bubbies is heated though there has been some debate. I found out it is. No wonder it did nothing for me what so ever. It's tasty though :-) Rejuvenative is the only one i found that's helped me. It certainly has proved worth the money over the years. No doubt about it.
I don't rely on Bubbies as a use for probiotic type of help. But I do love Bubbies taste and when you are craving a pickle, their's is the only one I know of that does not have vinegar in it, but still tastes amazing!
I just bought a sample pack from zukay.com and it's pretty good! A bit pricey and I hope one day to make my own fermented foods, but their stuff is raw and fermented. The sampler included salad dressing, relish and salsa! YUM.
Hi i have heard of this book to and i think eating lactofermented food is very helpfull for candida suffers.
yoghurt is very good but many people do bad with dairy products but i have bought a yoghurt machine and i am doing it with soy beans instead and just add a probiotic capsule to the milk a make from soybeans and put it in the yoghurt machine and voila ! it becomes a nice yoghurt .
some people do bad with soy beans to then you could try making it with almonds but you have to get freshly cracked almonds and rinse them with water and then soak them in vitamin c water for 15 min that detoxifies them from the mold /alfatoxins/ that is normaly found in alot of nuts.
i eat saurkraut and lactofermented pickles with out vinegar i also have a little of lactofermented carrots sometimes since it contains less Sugar when lactofermented.. same thing here some people say its safe some people say it contains mold and is bad for you. i think everyone has to try for them selves and see how they react to it .
iff you have low thyroid functions and low Iodine levels you should not eat to mouch sauerkraut becouse it lowers the uptake from Iodine , look at
