I have a huge gallstone which is 2.5 x 2.5 cm in size. I have been doing all I can to stop and/or shrink this baby. I have been successful in stopping the growth for the past six months.
I have been taking Mag-Citrate & Folic Acid; Vit C; Lecithin; Peppermint Oil. At the moment, I can't recall anything else I have been taking.
But now I think I am getting more bad symptoms from my gallbladder and don't know why, other than it being so big it is sometimes blocking the bile flow.
My question to anyone on this forum, from anywhere in the world: does anyone know where lithotripsy is still being done?
I am from Vancouver, BC, Canada and none of the doctors here will do lithotripsy for me because they feel I can undergo anesthesia for surgery to remove the gallbladder.
I have irritable bowel syndrome and am terrified of having my gallbladder removed because of the dire consequences of diarrhea from the constant dripping of bile into the intestines. The doctors will not address this as being of any concern.
I am 65 y.o., and also have fibromyalgia and diabetes.
I am trying to preserve my health, not decimate it!!!
Gallstones are formed by abnormal biochemical changes in the structure and formation of bile via the Liver thru a faulty diet, (including any other bodily secretions) and which can be rectified simply by radical changes IN that diet.
Hi Cybelle, I know this was an old post. How are you doing now? Did you ever find anyone to do lithotripsy in the Vancouver area? I know it used to be done all the time in the 90's
Please let me know as I'm in similar circumstances.
Kind Regards, Tim
